♥July Favorites♥

I'm so sad July is over already!  It is always my favorite month.  It's been a crazy but fun month.  I've been doing so much lately.  I have a few new favorites to share with you guys.  I want to know your favorites too!  Tell me in the comments below.  Also let me know if you want a Back To School series.

Music:

My first song is of course Best Song Ever by One Direction.  It's only been out like a week and I've already listened to it over 50 times.  It has a more rock vibe to it which I love.  Plus the video is AMAZING!  Each video just gets better and better.  I can't wait for their movie and new album.

My next song is Miss Movin' On by Fifth Harmony.  I've been waiting for their single since they finished X Factor.  It was worth the wait!  It is all about girl power which I love.  I'm so glad girl groups are making a comeback.  I can't wait to see how their album sounds.

My last song is American Girl by Bonnie McKee.  This is my summer anthem!  It is just a really fun song.  I am obsessed with it!  It is extremely catchy.  The video has a bunch of celebrities that she has written songs for which is pretty cool.

TV Show:

I've been SO addicted to Devious Maids!  It is on Sunday nights on Lifetime.  A maid has been murdered and they are trying to find out who did it.  It is so much more than that though.  There are all kinds of secrets, lies, and drama.  Each character has their own storyline but they are still all connected.  I just can't get enough!

Movie:

I know what you guys are thinking.  I'm 24 so why am I watching a Disney movie?  Well the answer is I can't resist a musical.  Teen Beach Movie is totally me.  It has surfing, a 60's theme, and it's a cheesy musical.  That's exactly how I'd describe myself.  It reminds me of High School Musical but better.  I even bought the DVD.  I'm obsessed!

Food:

I never drink enough water so I decided I would try flavored.  While at the store I found Kool-aid Liquid.  I am a huge fan of Kool-aid so I bought it.  It is awesome and really healthy.  You can add as much or as little as you want.  It isn't as sweet as regular but a great substitute.  I haven't tried the Orange flavor yet but the others are good.

Random:

Like most of the world I couldn't wait for The Royal Baby.  I have always loved Kate Middleton ever since The Royal Wedding.  How adorable is that baby?  He is so cute!  She looked amazing for just having a baby too.  It made me wish I was part of the Royal family.  I can't wait to see more pictures!

Trend:

I've been obsessed with floral headbands!  They can make an outfit dressy but they can also make an outfit casual.  I just love how versatile they are.  I don't always have much time to do my hair so I can just throw one of these in and go.  Plus there are so many styles and really inexpensive.

Book:

This month I've been reading The Time Traveler's Wife.  I've seen the movie many times but never read it.  The book is so much better.  It just has more details about his condition.  I honestly cried at the end.  It really shows true romance can exist.  It can be a little confusing sometimes but its a great book.

Quote:

This month I turned 24 so I thought this quote was fitting.  You should always set goals and dreams.  Pushing yourself to achieve things will just make you feel good.  Who cares if others don't agree with your goals.  Just do it for yourself.

Moment:

I've had so many great moments this month.  My favorite was seeing One Direction in concert.  It was the best day of my life.  They are my idols right now so being there was just an amazing feeling.  I did a full review here.

Music Friday: Oh La La

Happy Friday everybody!  I hope you've all had an awesome week.  I've been pretty busy this week.  Next month I've decided to do the 30 day music challenge so there won't be any Music Friday during August.  Let me know in the comments if you want me to do any other 30 day challenges.  Today's share is Oh La La by Britney Spears.  I've been loving this song.  The video also features her sons who are so adorable.  Enjoy!

Best Song Ever?

Today was an exciting day in the One Direction fandom.  They released their newest single called Best Song Ever.  They also released the music video today.  As a HUGE 1D fan I couldn't wait to see what the video would be like.  Let's talk about the song first.  It may be my favorite One Direction song so far!  It has a more edgier rock sound but still really catchy.  I've have had it on repeat since I bought it last night.  Now let's talk about the video.  It is by far the best 1D video!  Each video they do they get better and better.  I love how they all had a character to portray.  My favorites were Harry and Liam's.  Also I loved the dance moves.  True directioners will understand.  Watch the video below and tell me your thoughts in the comments.

My One Direction Take Me Home Tour Experience

On Friday I went to see One Direction in Kansas City and it was the best night of my life!  I bought my ticket clear back in April 2012 so I was so excited for this.  At around noon on Friday I headed to Kansas City which is about a 3 hour drive from where I live.  Once I checked into my hotel I headed to the venue.  I have to admit we got a little bit lost but eventually found it.  Right when I got to the venue I got in line for a t-shirt.  The shirts were a reasonable price.  I paid $40 for mine and I love it.  I had never been to the venue before so I got a bit lost finding my seat.  Once I found my seat, I got SO excited by how close I actually was.  Before the show started they had played the commercials for the perfume and movie.  I can't wait for both!  5 Seconds Of Summer was the opening band.  I didn't know much about them but I really liked them.  I knew their songs Heartbreak Girl and Try Hard.  They also covered Teenage Dream by Katy Perry which was very good.  During the break before the boys came on it became a giant dance party.  One guy in the crowd started doing the entire Single Ladies dance which was so funny.  We all kept cheering him on.  Finally it was time for 1D!  It was honestly the best concert I've ever been to.  My favorite part was when Louis asked Niall to describe the show in 18 words.  Niall went over 18 words so Louis made him run a lap around the stage.  Niall's ear piece wasn't working so they decided to tell jokes to stall time.  Harry had dumb jokes but I love dumb jokes so I laughed at them.  I was so sad it was over and I wish I was back.  Maybe next year they'll be back.  I took video clips which you can check out here.  I also made a slide show of all my pictures which is below.  Let me know if you've been to see 1D in the comments.

Music Friday: I Want Crazy

My Believe Tour Experience

Last night I went to Justin Bieber's Believe Tour in Omaha, Nebraska.  I've been a fan for years and I had went to the My World Tour 3 years ago.  I was so excited!  I had AMAZING seats so I could see the entire stage.  I hadn't watched any YouTube videos so I didn't know what to expect.  First up was Mike Posner.  I really liked him.  He got the crowd really pumped and excited.  I only knew a few songs though.  The next band was Hot Chelle Rae.  I love them!  I had seen them a few years ago.  They did amazing and I actually bought their album after.  Finally it was time for Justin Bieber!  I actually recorded the first 3 songs which you can watch below.  The whole show was perfection.  He sang a good mixture of old and new songs.  His dance moves were incredible.  It was just an awesome show!  I can't wait for the next tour!

Music Friday: One Less Lonely Girl

Happy Friday!  I hope you all had an awesome 4th.  I sure did.  Today's share is so exciting because I'm going to see JUSTIN BIEBER TOMORROW!!!!  Yes I'm finally seeing the Believe Tour!  Don't worry I'll let you guys know how it went.  Today I chose my all time favorite Bieber song.  It is One Less Lonely Girl. Casual 4th Of July Outfit Idea

4th of July is only days away!  It is one of my favorite holidays.  I came up with a casual outfit idea that you could wear.  If you want to buy any of these items I will put the links below.  You can use any clothes from your closet too.  Just make sure you stick to a red, white, and blue color theme.  Since I usually spend all day outside, I always wear a tank top.  Choose a graphic tank so you don't look too plain.  I love flag shorts because they are so festive and fun.  Any shorts you choose will do though.  Shoes are up to you based on what you plan on doing.  Tennis shoes are always a safe option.  Of course sunglasses complete any summer outfit.  These flag sunglasses are so festive plus they are heart shaped.  For hair ideas I would choose a braid or a simple ponytail.  I hope you enjoyed my ideas.  If you want more posts like this then let me know.
