Motivational Monday: Dreams DO Come True!

Happy Monday!  If you haven't read last week's post then click here because today's is a continuation.  So last Monday I went to see Justin Timberlake.  It was the best concert EVER!  He was even sick and still performed incredibly!  I have dreamed of meeting him my whole life!  I've been a fan since I was 8 and now I'm almost 25.  Well Monday it came true!  I can't really go in to much details but I was totally surprised!  I had contacted the news about meeting him.  You can watch it here.  First I was upgraded to 2nd row!  Then it actually happened!  I met all his band and dancers and backup singers.  Everybody was SO nice!  When I found out I was meeting him I totally cried but pulled it together.  While waiting Jessica Biel walked by!  I was starstruck just by that.  Suddenly he was standing in front of me and I remember nothing.  I feel like I blacked out.  During the show he sang to me twice and gave me a shout out on stage!  It was just AMAZING!  Never give up on your dreams!  So now that I've accomplished this dream I must set another.  So now I want to be on The Ellen Show!  So I need all of you to help!  Tweet Ellen using #EllenmeetJerica.  No dream is too big!

Motivational Monday: Dreams

Happy Monday!  Today I want to talk about dreams.  Everybody has some kind of dream.  It could be to be famous, open a business, or even starting a blog.  Your dreams are important no matter what.  Nothing is unrealistic if you set your mind to it.  Today I'm see Justin Timberlake and hope to meet him.  I won't give up even if it doesn't happen this time.  Maybe it will next time.  So just keep dreaming and never let anybody tell you that you can't do something.

Jerica's Chatter: Full House Reunited?

Happy Wednesday!  It's time to talk about happened in pop culture this week.  I need a name for this series so leave suggestions.

Full House on Jimmy Fallon:
This week is Jimmy Fallon's last week on his show.  He'll be taking over The Tonight Show.  He did a hilarious skit with our favorite Full House members Danny, Joey, and Uncle Jesse.  The recreated the iconic scene where Michelle is afraid of sleeping in her big girl bed.  You must watch!

The Fault Of Our Stars:
OMG you guys this week the trailer for The Fault In Our Stars was released!!!  I honestly cried through the whole thing.  If you haven't read the book yet, what are you waiting for?  It is AMAZING!  Check out the trailer.

Seahawks Win!:
Sunday was the Super Bowl which featured the Denver Bronco's vs. the Seattle Seahawks.  I didn't really have a team but I was rooting for the Seahawks.  I thought it'd be a great game but it got boring pretty quickly.  The commercials were just average.  I didn't absolutely love any.  Bruno Mars rocked the halftime show along with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  It was excellent.

RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman:
I couldn't decide if I wanted to include this but it's important to talk about.  On Sunday Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his New York.  He died from a drug overdose.  He was only 46.  I wasn't a huge fan but I've seen a few movies.  It's just so heartbreaking to see young talented people dying because of drugs.  I know people can only change themselves but if you know somebody who is struggling just be there for them.

Movie Review: About Time

I just finished watching the film About Time and I knew I had to review it.  My mom and I really wanted to see it in theaters but we never made it.  I had very high hopes and it didn't let me down at all.  It's kind of a hard movie to explain so I'll put the trailer at the end.  The movie focus' on a guy named Tim who is played by Domhnall Gleeson.  Basically all the men in Tim's family can time travel.  There are certain rules but you'll have to watch to see what they are.  He is a bit awkward and just wants to find love.  Then he randomly meets Mary who is played by Rachel McAdams.  That's all I can share!  It's based in London which I loved because I'm obsessed with London.  I loved how it was filmed like an indie film.  It was all very natural feeling.  I laughed and I cried.  I'm putting this in my top 10 favorite movies for sure.  I only wish it was a book.  Tell me your thoughts if you've seen it.  If you haven't then you must!

Motivational Monday: Who Inspires You?

Happy Monday!  Today I want to get to know you guys better.  So today's question is who inspires you?  It can be somebody close to you or somebody famous.  Anybody you want.  For me it's my mom.  She was a single mom most of my life.  She took care of me and my two sisters and worked full time.  We didn't have much money but we never felt left out of anything.  My celebrity inspiration is Taylor Swift.  She writes things that happen to us girls.  She is always honest and I love that.  Let me know yours in the comments.
