Cooking Corner: Easy Apple Crisp

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week already??  It isn't really a huge deal in my family but we do enjoy spending time together.  We usually spend the day playing games and eating A LOT.  Today I'm going to share the perfect dessert to bring to dinner.  A couple weeks ago I had Apple Crisp and became obsessed!  My grandma found this recipe on Pinterest and it's SOOO good!  You can make adjustments if you prefer.  We used different apples and oats.  If you make this tweet me pictures.  Enjoy!!!

Ingredients:
For the crumb topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
dash of salt
1/3 cup unsalted butter, diced into small chunks

For the Apple filling:
3-4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced thin
3 Tbsp butter, melted
2 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp lemon juice
3 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
dash of salt
Caramel Sauce (homemade or store bought)

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. In a medium size bowl combine the crumb topping ingredients with a fork or pastry blender until it resembles small crumbs. Refrigerate while you prepare the apple filling.

3. For the Apple Filling: In a small bowl, combine melted butter and flour until well blended. Add lemon juice, milk and vanilla and stir well. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour butter mixture over apples and toss to coat. Pour apple mixture into an 8x8-inch baking dish and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over the apples.

4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and top is set. Remove from oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.  Add caramel sauce and enjoy!

♥DIY Donut Pumpkin♥

One of my favorite things about Halloween is carving pumpkins.  This year I wanted to do something different.  The new trend is painting pumpkins so that's what I did.  I LOVE donuts!!!  I went to Pinterest to find some inspiration.  I think my pumpkin turned out pretty adorable.  I think next year I'll do a few more.

What You Will Need:
-A pumpkin of any size
-A pencil
-Acrylic Paint (any colors you want)
-Paint brushes

Directions:
1. Pick the pumpkin you want.  I went with a small one so it would be more realistic.
2. Then I took a pencil to outline the frosting.  Take gray paint and go over the outline.
3. Paint the top part of your pumpkin light pink.  Then paint the bottom portion a tan color.
4. After everything is dry use multiple different colors to make sprinkles.

It is that easy!  Did you decorate any pumpkins this year?  I would love to see them!  Tweet me pictures especially if you try this design.

4 Last Minute Halloween Costumes From Your Closet

Most of us will probably be going to some sort of Halloween party this weekend.  There is no reason to go spend $80 on a costume because all you'll need is your closet.  If you are like me then you probably have no clue what to be.  Don't worry I've got you covered!  I came up with 4 costumes that you already own.  Let's get to it!

First up is a scarecrow.  All you'll need is a plaid shirt, preferably red, some ripped jeans, and brown boots.  You can add makeup and a straw hat if you would like.  All you need is a braid and your look is complete.

Next up is a witch.  All that you will need is a black dress and black boots.  Any dress will work as long it's black so just pick your favorite.  The only thing you'll need to but is a witch hat which is less than $5.  If you are crafty then make your own.

Next is a flower goddess.  You'll need a flowy white dress, sandals, and a flower crown.  Think Coachella vibes or the Snapchat filter.  This my favorite for sure.

Last up is a fitness girl.  All you need are yoga pants, a exercise top, and sneakers.  This is probably the best one.  You can go straight from the gym to your party.  Plus you will be super comfortable all night!

Well that is what I came up with!  What was your favorite?  Also, let me know what you are going to be for Halloween in the comments!

Casual Fall Outfit

Today was the perfect Fall day in Nebraska.  The leaves are finally changing and it is getting a lot cooler out.  Today I thought I would share my OOTD.  I have always wanted a moto jacket but they can be pricey.  I found this one on sale and had to have it!  The sleeves and hood are super soft sweater material and the body part is faux leather.  Under that is my Ninja Turtle 3/4 shirt which got TONS of compliments on.  I decided on dark wash skinny jeans since I was wearing a lighter shirt.  My boots are a chocolate brown which are so comfy.  Everything I'm wearing is from Kohl's.  If you like these types of posts just let me know!!

Weekly Obsession!

This week my obsession is not about food surprisingly.  I feel like 90% are about food because I just like trying new things.  My weekly obsession is.........Faux Leather Leggings!!  To be honest I'm obsessed with all leggings lately but these are my favorite.  Last month I did a HUGE wardrobe update.  I needed a few dressier items and stuff for fall/winter.  I bought everything on Kohl's website and I got bonus cash.  So I decided to buy legging and I fell in love with them.  They are SUPER comfortable and stretchy.  You can dress them up or down which I really like.  They look like real leather too.  I only paid $20 and it's amazing quality.  If you are looking for a good quality faux leather leggings then check these out.  What are you loving this week?

Weekly Obsession!

We all know that fall means pumpkin.  A couple weeks ago I posted a Easy Pumpkin Muffin recipe that I make often.  Sometimes you just don't want to bake though.  My weekly obsession is....Little Bites Pumpkin Muffins.  These are SO good!  They are the perfect flavor and really moist.  I actually buy these in a couple of different flavors.  I'm sad that the pumpkin ones are limited edition.  I eat these as a snack or for breakfast if I'm not that hungry.  Unfortunately there are only 4 in a package.  I wish there were 6 because they are just so good.  What is your favorite flavor of muffin?

Fall TV: What I'm Watching

I am a TV addict!  I watch at least 3 shows a night which is probably not healthy at all.  One reason that I love this time of year is all the new shows.  I rarely saw any previews for this year but I still found some really good ones.  I thought I would share what I've been watching this fall.  Some are new but some are shows I've been watching for awhile.  What shows are you watching?  Let me know!

Returning Shows:
I'm obviously watching The Voice.  I've been watching since Season 1 and it just never gets old.  It's too early to choose a favorite but I'm liking Team Adam best.  Team Pharrell is pretty good too.

If you are new to my blog then you may not know that I recap Dancing With The Stars.  I'm obsessed with this show and have been since Season 2.  My favorites are Nick Carter (obviously) and Bindi Irwin.

I love this show!  Scorpion started last year and I was instantly hooked.  It's about a group of geniuses that work for the government to solve massive problems.  I really like the character dynamic.

I'm so glad that CSI: Cyber is back!  They did a half season last year and it just started back.  It's basically just like CSI but they are cyber crimes.  It's very interesting if you like computers and technology.  I never realized all the crimes hackers can do.

At first I wasn't sure I would keep watching Nashville.  This season just started and I'm hooked already!  It's all about the country music scene in Nashville.  Lots of drama occurs which I love!  The music is really good too.

Last season was hard for Grey's Anatomy fans.  I thought I would hate this season but so far I really like it.  I've been watching since high school so it's hard to quit.  If you like medical dramas you will be a fan,  Catch up on Netflix first or you'll be very confused.

I'm in love with How To Get Away With Murder!  I talked about this show in my Fall Favorites Tag so go check that out.

I have a love/hate relationship with Scandal.  I was obsessed in the beginning but now I feel like it isn't as exciting.  I'm giving it one more season to convince me.  So far I'm still bored but we'll see.

I started watching NCIS: New Orleans last year with my mom and grandma.  It's the same as NCIS but set in New Orleans instead.  I really like the characters and the stories.  This season is a lot better and intense.

I love The Mysteries of Laura!  This is one of my favorites because it has a good story and it's also really funny.  Laura is a cop and mom of twin boys.  The way she solves crimes is so different and that makes the show stand out.

Blue Bloods is by far my favorite cop show.  The entire family is either a lawyer or cop.  It's more than your typical cop show.  It also deals with family issues.  I can get intense but I love the characters.  Also, I love Donnie Wahlberg.

New Shows:
I think Grandfathered is such a cute show!  It's about a guy who finds out he is a father AND a grandfather all in one day.  John Stamos does a great job!  The stories are just adorable as well.

I was very intrigued by Limitless.  It's based off of the Bradley Cooper film so check that out first.  Basically when they give Brian a pill his brain works at 100%.  Now he uses that to solve crimes with the FBI.  I really like how it's going so far.

Blood & Oil is the new Revenge.  This show is about the oil business and how dirty it really is.  I love all of the backstabbing that goes on.  Lots of crazy stuff has happened already and I can't get enough!  I wonder who will win?

I saved the best for last!  Quantico is my OBSESSION!  Somebody in the the FBI is framing an FBI recruit as a terrorist.  Now you are trying to figure out who is the actual terrorist.  Every episode just keeps you guessing and I just want more!

♥The Fall Favorites Tag♥

Fall is finally here!!!!  This is always one of my favorite times of year.  I love the chilly sunny days and the trees changing.  It also means football time!  I'm a big fan in case you didn't know.  Today I'm doing the Fall Favorites Tag.  I saw it on YouTube and loved it.  I did adjust some of the questions to fit me better.  I wanted to have this post up earlier but I got a really bad virus for about two weeks.  That was NOT fun but I'm back now!  I wanna know all of your answers too!  Be sure to send me a link so I can check them out!  Also, send me some suggestions if you want more fall themed posts.  Enjoy!

Favorite Candle:
I don't really light candles but I love a good fall scent.  For my birthday I got an Air Wick room spray.  I'm OBSESSED with it!  My scent recently ran out so I went on the hunt for a fall smell.  I found this one called Mom's Baking and it's perfect!  It smells like cinnamon, apples, and vanilla.  Every 30  minutes or so it will spray and I just can't get enough!

Favorite Candy:
There is only certain types of candy that you can buy around this time of year.  I wait all year for...candy corn!!!!  I LOVE it!  Nobody else I know will eat it.  The original is obviously the best but I do like trying the flavored ones as well.  I highly recommend the S'mores flavor.

Favorite Drink:
HOT CHOCOLATE!!!!  There is no question about this question.  It's pretty much all I drink from October through February.  It just makes me feel so cozy and warm.  I just got into Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.  I can't believe I've been missing out!

Favorite Book:
I adore a good romance book around this time of year.  I just like curling up in a snuggly blanket and getting lost in a love story.  This will be my go to this year.  I pre-ordered it so I can start reading it next week when it comes out.  To be honest any Nicholas Sparks is a winner in my opinion.

Favorite Clothing Item:
This is my latest purchase and I am in LOVE!  I have been wanting a pair of ankle booties for a few years.  I just couldn't find a pair that I really loved.  I found these on sale at Kohls and I knew they were the ones.  I bought them in tan because I felt like they will go with everything.  I just like how I can wear them with pretty much anything in my wardrobe.

Favorite Fall Movie:
This is my all time favorite Halloween film.  I've been watching this since I was little and I still love it.  I don't like scary movies so I'm glad Disney understands me.  It's actually such an underrated film.  Another movie that I also seem to watch around this time of year is RENT.  If you aren't a fan of musicals then you probably won't like it.  It's my all time favorite musical!

Favorite Fall TV Show:
I LOVE FALL TV!!!  I look forward to it all summer long!  I've been watching a lot of new shows so I'll do a whole post on that.  The one show I was most excited for was How To Get Away With Murder.  This show is MY LIFE!  Each episode just gets better and better!  Go watch if you haven't yet!
Favorite Thanksgiving Food:
I actually don't like traditional Thanksgiving food.  That's probably really weird but I just don't.  One thing that we eat every year is green bean casserole.  It's just SO good!  It's really easy to make as well.  My mom does it best!

Favorite Halloween Costume:
As a kid my mom never bought us costumes.  She never saw the point in spending $25 to wear an outfit that you only wear a few hours.  So she just made them!  My favorite was a cat.  I just wore black stretch pants, a black turtleneck, and black ballet shoes.  It was my favorite and I honestly wanted to wear it every day.  Sadly I couldn't find a picture but I was obsessed.

Cooking Corner: Zucchini Bread

This is my FAVORITE time of year for baking.  It's starting to get colder outside and baking just makes everything cozier.  One of my favorite foods is zucchini bread.  Don't worry, you can't even taste the zucchini.  That was why it took me awhile to try it but I'm SO glad I did!  I found this recipe on Pinterest of course!  I did slightly alter it though so I thought I would share the recipe with you guys today.  If you make this then make sure you tweet me pictures!  Also let me know any recipes that you want to see!

Ingredients:
1 pound zucchini (Make sure it is finely shredded and placed in a towel to remove excess moisture.  You’ll end up with about 1 to 1 1/2 cups)
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/4 cup plain yogurt (not fat-free)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or sour cream
6 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Generously coat a 9-inch by 5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray

2. Chop the ends off the zucchini (just 1/4-inch off each end) and finely shred the zucchini, peel and all. Place the shredded zucchini in a clean kitchen towel, wrap the towel, and wring the ends (like a an old-fashioned candy wrapper) to squeeze out all the excess water. You should have about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of dry zucchini. Set the zucchini aside.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, allspice, and salt.

4. In a smaller bowl, whisk the sugar, yogurt, eggs, lemon juice or sour cream, and butter until combined.

5. Gently fold the yogurt mixture and zucchini into the flour mixture, using a rubber spatula to fold the ingredients together until just combined. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.

6. Bake until golden brown for about 45-55 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes then turn out into wire rack to cool for at least 1 hour. Store well-covered for up to three days.

Weekly Obsession!

I started cleaning out my drawers to get ready for the fall.  I found a product that I had forgotten all about.  My weekly obsession is...Pure Seduction body mist!!!!  I have been in love with this for probably 7 or 8 years.  Then about 3 years ago I bought the spring bloom version and just started using that one.  I've now fallen back in love with the original.  It is a fruity scent but it has a darker floral hint to it.  I'm not good at describing scents so here is the official description: A flirty, floral fragrance. Entice in Pure Seduction, a passionate romance of succulent red plum and sweet freesia. Experience the luxury of fragrance. Refreshing formula is infused with conditioning aloe vera and calming chamomile. Spray on for a sexy touch of scent.  I prefer wearing it at night but you could wear it during the day as well.  What is your fall scent?

DWTS Season 21: It Begins NOW!!!!

It's premiere night.  If you are new to my blog make sure you come back every Monday because I recap every episode.  I'm actually really excited about this season.  There are only 3 judges this year because Len Goodman didn't come back.  This means the highest score possible is 30.  Next week is a double elimination.  Somebody will be eliminated Monday and then another on Tuesday.  The show kicked off with a huge opening number.  It was AMAZING!  I'm obsessed already!!!  Who are you rooting for this season?  Let me know!!!!!  Make sure you vote for your favorites so they stay.

VICTOR ESPINOZA AND KARINA SMIRNOFF:
He is a horse jockey.  He has no short term memory because he has had so many concussions.  This week he danced the Salsa.  I was very surprised!  I thought it was going to be a mess.  He wasn't that bad.  It needed more Salsa but I didn't hate it.  His score was 15 of 30.

TAMAR BRAXTON AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
She is a singer, reality star, and co-host of The Real.  She just wanted to get back in shape after having her baby.  This week she danced the Quickstep.  She did REALLY good!  This is one of the harder dances especially for the first week.  I'm a fan for sure.  She still needs work some work though.  Her score was 23 of 30.

CHAKA KHAN AND KEO MOTSEPE:
She is a singer a.k.a The Queen of Funk.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  This was a mess.  She forgot a lot of steps.  It was also slow and off beat.  I'm not sure she can make it very far unless she blows everybody away next week.  I don't see that happening though.  Her score was 13 of 30.

HAYES GRIER AND EMMA SLATER:
He is a social media sensation.  I have mixed feelings about him.  He really isn't a celebrity but I don't decide who gets on the show.  He has the potential to grow and become a really great dancer.  His timing was off slightly so he needs to work on that.  Girls love him so he'll go far.  His score was 21 of 30.

ANDY GRAMMER AND ALLISON HOLKER:
He is a singer.  Last season he guest performed and felt like he needed to be part of the show.  This week he danced the Foxtrot.  I like him a lot!  He seemed like a natural but it was a bit jerky.  I'm sure it was just nerves.  I love that he got paired with Allison because she is great.  His score was 21 of 30.

PAULA DEEN AND LOUIS VAN AMSTEL:
She is a celebrity chef.  This week she danced the Quickstep.  I was actually pretty surprised.  She looked terrified and needed to let loose.  She was just kind of being dragged around.  I want to see her personality more.  She just needs to have fun.  Her score was 15 of 30.

CARLOS PENAVEGA AND WITNEY CARSON:
He is from Big Time Rush.  His wife is also on the show competing.  This week he danced the Jive.  He is GOOD!  He is a total natural!  I honestly didn't want it to end.  He will go very far for sure!  I'm interested to see how he will do on slower dances.  His score was 23 of 30.

ALEXA PENAVEGA AND MARK BALLAS:
She is an actress.  Her husband is also competing on the show.  This week she danced the Jive.  I love her!  She really lets her personality shine.  Her choreography was really hard for the first week.  She killed it though!  She got lucky having Mark as her partner.  Her score was 22 of 30.

KIM ZOLCIAK BIERMANN AND TONY DOVOLANI:
She is a reality star.  This week she danced the Salsa.  I knew nothing about her so I didn't know what to expect.  She wasn't great to be honest.  She really held a lot back and I wanted more.  She was also very stiff.  I hope next week she just has fun.  Her score was 12 of 30.

BINDI IRWIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
She is a zoo keeper.  Her father was Steve Irwin and she's doing it for him.  This week she danced the Jive.  OMG she is my favorite girl this season!  She has SO much energy and a bubbly personality.  I just love her!  I could watch her dance all day long.  People need to watch out for her.  Her score was 24 of 30.

GARY BUSEY AND ANNA TREBUNSKAYA:
He is an actor.  He suffered a brain injury years ago so he learners slower.  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  Well it was entertaining.  I couldn't look away even though he was a hot mess.  I was actually laughing out loud.  I'm not even sure that was a Cha Cha.  I don't know what is going to happen next.  I can only imagine!  His score was 15 of 30.

ALEK SKARLATOS AND LINDSAY ARNOLD:
He is an American hero.  This week he danced the Foxtrot.  I didn't know anything about him so I didn't know what to expect.  He was very good.  He was just so elegant and graceful.  I was very impressed.  His arms need some work but overall he did a great job for never dancing before.  I'm worried he won't last because he doesn't have a big fan base.  His score was 22 of 30.

NICK CARTER AND SHARNA BURGESS:
He is a Backstreet Boy!!!  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  I've been waiting 20 seasons for a Backstreet Boy to be on the show!!!!!  He is my favorite guy this season!  He was full of energy and it was fun to watch.  I loved everything about it.  I think he will go all the way.  I'm in love and I'm totally team Nick!  His score was 24 of 30

#DeflateGate

We are only a week away from the Super Bowl!  I've been watching for as long as I can remember.  I do enjoy the game but I mainly socialize.  This year it is The Seahawks vs. Patriots.  There is some controversy so I thought I'd share my thoughts.

In the final playoff game the Patriots played the Colts.  It has been proven that the Patriots played with deflated balls to have a better grip in the rain.  The consequence?  They only had to pay a fee and can still play in the Super Bowl.  This is totally wrong!  If this were just a regular game then I'd be fine with the fine.  This was the playoffs for the biggest game of the season.  The Patriots should be disqualified!

It's too late now for a change.  Let's just hope the Seahawks beat them fairly.  What are your thoughts?  I'm also excited for Katy Perry to perform the halftime show.  Who are you rooting for?  Let me know!

DWTS Season 19: It's Final Time!!!!!!

It's night 1 of the finals!!!!!!!!!!  Tomorrow a winner will be chosen!  I'm SO excited but I'm sad it's ending.  Tonight the celebrities will be dancing two dances.  The first will be judges pick and the second will be everybody's favorite round which is freestyle.  I can't wait for this!!!!!!  Somebody will still be eliminated tonight.  The show started with a big group number which was SO good!  Make sure you vote for your favorite so they'll win!!!  Come back tomorrow for the results!

BETHANY MOTA AND DEREK HOUGH:
Her judges pick was her Jive from week one.  They wanted to see her transitions improve.  I loved it even more this time.  She has improved SO much!  The set malfunctioned but they pulled it together pretty well.  There were mistakes but I don't even care.  She's such an inspiration to regular girls like me.  I'm Team Mota!  Her score was 36 of 40.  It's freestyle time!  I LOVED it!  It was sharp and powerful and just perfection!  The tricks were insane!!!  She was taking over the world and I wanted more!  I love girl power!  Her score was 40 of 40.  This makes her total for the night 76.

SADIE ROBERTSON AND MARK BALLAS:
Her judges pick was her Samba from week four.  Len was gone and he wanted to see it live.  Somehow it got even better!!  This was my favorite dance she did all season so I'm glad to see it again.  She is just amazing!  She makes me happy every week.  She has grown so much more confident.  I'm glad she made the finals.  Her score was 38 of 40.  It's freestyle time!  I loved the theme of Mario!  It totally fit her personality!  It was cute and quirky and I just fell in love with it!  I'm sad it's over!  Her score was 40 of 40.  This makes her total for the night 78.

JANEL PARRISH AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Her judges pick was her Samba from week six.  The judges wanted to see more passion.  I still didn't like this dance.  I felt really bored.  She injured herself hours before the show so it did affect the dance.  The dance just wasn't my thing.  Hopefully I'll like her next dance better.  Her score was 37 of 40.  It's freestyle time!  It was a very beautiful dance but it was too simple for a final in my opinion.  It was pure and honest but I don't know if it was enough to win.  Her score was 40 of 40.  This makes her total for the night 77.

ALFONSO RIBEIRO AND WITNEY CARSON:
His judges pick was his Jive from week one.  They wanted to see how much he has improved.  This dance was AMAZING and this time it was MIND BLOWING!!!!!!!!!  It was perfection!  I can't believe he is injured and he still danced like that!  I just love him and I'm glad he is better.  His score was 40 of 40.  It's freestyle time!  He did it again!  He FREAKING killed it!  It had every single dance style!!!!!  It was old school and new school and glamorous!  I couldn't even tell he was injured AT ALL!  His score was 40 of 40.  This makes his total for the night a perfect score of 80.

Results:
Alfonso and Sadie are safe.  Janel and Bethany are in danger.  Bethany is eliminated meaning Janel is safe.  I'm SO shocked and sad!

4 DIY Halloween Costumes

Can you believe Halloween is only 2 weeks away?  If you are like me you probably haven't got a costume yet.  I can't justify spending $30 for only one night and never wear it again.  No worries!  I'm here to help you make a costume using clothing you already own.  These are just ideas that you can use a guide.  You can adapt it depending on what is in your closet.  If you try any of these tweet me a picture @jerica_89!  Let me know if you want more posts like this.

First up is Cleopatra.  All you need is a flowy white dress.  For shoes use gladiator sandals.  Gold is the best color but brown or black will work too.  Go crazy with the gold jewelry!  If you think its too much add more!  The most important is a big statement necklace.  To add some color go for turquoise earrings.  Straighten your hair and wear a gold headband across your forehead.  That's it!

This is my favorite option.  It's Minnie Mouse!  All you need is a red polka dot shirt and high waisted white shorts.  You could also wear a dress as long its red and polka dotted.  Add some black leggings to give more of a mouse effect.  For shoes you'll need yellow heels.  If you have Minnie ears then wear those.  If not wear a polka dotted bow in your hair.  You are now transformed!

Animal costumes are always a good option.  I chose to do a Panda.  All you need is a black and white shirt and some black jeans.  For shoes go with some black and white chucks.  Wear a panda hat and black gloves to finish off the look!

I love superheros!  My favorite is Captain America.  If you own a Captain America shirt wear that but if not wear a flag/american shirt.  Pair it with some dark blue jeans and red chucks.  For accessories wear flag sunglasses and a star read, white, and blue bow.

DWTS Season 19: It's Time For A Switch!

Welcome to Week 5!  Tonight the celebrity's will switch partners.  This is only for one week.  They did this last season and I loved it.  Hopefully it will be the same tonight!  The guest judge is Jessie J.  I really like her so I'm sure she'll be great.  There will be no elimination tonight but there will be next week,  Make sure you vote for your favorites!  The show started of with a performance by Jessie J while the group danced which was amazing of course.  I'm loving them this season!  Come back next Monday for more!

ANTONIO SABATO JR. AND ALLISON HOLKER:
He was really disappointed with his scores last week.  This week he danced Bollywood.  I liked the routine but he was a hot mess.  First off I did like this pairing.  I just thought he could do better.  He looked very lost and stiff.  She has a lot of experience in this style so I felt she out danced him.  He was committed though.  His score was 28 of 40.

BETHANY MOTA AND MARK BALLAS:
She got her partners best friend so there was a little playful tension.  This week she danced Hip Hop.  I loved this SO much!  She has so much more confidence.  I did not expect her to be that comfortable with this style.  She KILLED the entire routine!!!  She totally has swag and I wished it went on forever.  His score was 32 of 40.

JONATHAN BENNETT AND PETA MURGATROYD:
He got the lowest scores last week so he really needs to step it up.  This week he danced the Jitterbug.  It was definitely an improvement but there were mess ups.  It had potential but it just didn't work as planned.  There were awesome moments but at least he tried.  He had fun at least.  His score was 24 of 40.

ALFONSO RIBEIRO AND CHERYL BURKE:
Last week he got a perfect score so he has a lot of pressure.  This week he danced the Flamenco.  I loved this dance!  I also loved this partnership!  We saw a whole new side of him and it was great.  It had so much intensity that I couldn't look away.  They had so much chemistry for only being together a week.  His score was 34 of 40.

JANEL PARRISH AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
They need to really work on their connection to pull this routine off.  This week she danced Burlesque.  I know it is supposed to be sexy but I thought it was too much.  I didn't feel like it was really a Burlesque.  It needed to be toned down A LOT.  The connection was there though.  Her score was 33 of 40.

MICHAEL WALTRIP AND WITNEY CARSON:
There is a big age gap with this pairing so it could get awkward.  This week he danced Disco.  It was okay but I've seen better.  He was off the beat.  He needs to get more serious and do more dance moves.  His partner does all the work. no matter who it is  He relies too much on comedy and it's week 5 so it should be better.  His score was 20 of 40.

TOMMY CHONG AND EMMA SLATER:
He was worried about switching partners because he isn't sure how to learn from somebody else.  This week he danced the Mambo.  This wasn't my favorite and I think it was the song choice.  The song was too slow and so it lost energy.  He has done SO much better in past weeks.  I was disappointed 23 of 40.

SADIE ROBERTSON AND DEREK HOUGH:
She was happy with her pairing because he is most like Mark.  This week she danced the Charleston.  I really LOVED this!  It was clean and completely on point!  It was modern but still classic.  Her body is perfect for dance because she is so tall.  I just love her!  The partnership was amazing as well.  It was pretty much perfection.  Her score was 36 of 40.

LEA THOMPSON AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
She almost got a perfect score last week so she wants to do well.  This week she danced Broadway.  I actually did like this routine.  It was different for her but the concept was great.  I laughed a lot and her style wasn't too extreme which I liked.  She really opened up this week.  It was good.  Her score was 34 of 40.

I Met Aaron Carter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were alive during the 90's then you know Aaron Carter was a pretty big deal.  He was also one of my many idols.  He is now coming back with new music.  Last night he came to Nebraska and of course I went!  Things happened that I was NOT expecting.  First while we were waiting outside he came out of his bus.  He started talking to my sister and I and then he invited us personally to watch his soundcheck! We were dying!  I tried to get front row but I got second instead.  It didn't matter though because during the concert he touched my cheek while he sang THEN I sang I Want Candy into his mic! It was SO awesome!  I had meet and greet passes so we met him after.  He was holding the meet and greet on his bus, which I can't get on, so he personally came out to meet us.  When I met him after he kissed my cheeks and took selfies AND then he gave me his beanie hat! How is this real life!!!!!  He also gave us his number!  I wish I was back there already!

♥Weekly Obsession♥

Happy Wednesday!  This week has been SO crazy already!  This leads into my post.  My obsession is Fall!!!!!!!  The leaves are changing and it has been getting colder.  Also football has started which means my grandma makes chili which I love.  I kinda want to do a series for Fall so let me know your thoughts.  One of my ALL time favorite things about Fall is the new TV shows.  That has been why my week has been crazy.  It is premiere week!  I will be doing a review of all the shows I checked out.  I'm hoping it will be up by the weekend.  Tell me what shows I should check out!  Also tell me if you want a Fall series!  What do you love about Fall?

DWTS Season 19 Results: Who's Jam Just Didn't Make The Cut?

Tonight is another elimination!  The show started with a group routine by the female pros.  They are killing it this season!  Lea, Randy, and Betsey are safe.  Next Nico and Vinz performed their hit Am I Wrong.  They are really good and I love the song.  Tommy and Jonathan are safe.  Michael is in danger.  I wasn't shocked by this because he had the lowest score last night.  The encore dance is Janel's Foxtrot.  This wouldn't have been my choice but it was ok.  Janel and Bethany are safe.  Sadie is in danger.  I'm a bit shocked but last night wasn't her best.  Sia performed her hit Chandelier.  I personally hate this song but Maddie from Dance Mom's performed to it so I enjoyed that.  Next weeks guest judge will be Kevin Hart.  It is also Movie Night next week.  Julianne Hough is dancing with the male pros!  I wish she would dance more because it was AMAZING!  Alfonso and Antonio are safe.  Tavis is in danger.  Again he didn't do so well last night.  The celebrity that is eliminated is Tavis.  This means Sadie and Michael will be back next week.
