♥August Favorites♥

August is over!  I have so much stuff to share with you guys that I'm loving.  It just has went so fast!  I'm back in school now so that has been a little stressful.  I wanna know your favorites!  Tell me in the comments below!

Music:
My first song is XO by Emblem3.  Honestly I've had this whole album on repeat this month.  I just love their vibe.  It has a really relaxed sound and every single song is good.  It is just so fun but they also have meaningful songs.  I highly recommend this album.

My second song is Music Feels Better by Selena Gomez.  This is another album I've been playing over and over.  I've never been a big fan of hers but somehow I heard this song and immediately bought the album.  It is not at all what I expected.  It has a techo and dance feel to it.  I can't stop listening!

My last song is Feels Like Home by The Backstreet Boys.  I've always been obsessed with this album also.  This song is my favorite though.  It's just very upbeat and fun.  I really love their new sound.  I have always been a big fan of them so I'm happy for new music.

TV Show:
I am a game show junkie!  I watch the Game Show Network at least once a day everyday.  The newest show is called The Chase.  It has been popular in UK for awhile but now has come to America.  It's kind of hard to explain but basically you answer trivia questions and try to beat the beast.  I'm so addicted!

Movie:
Is anybody really surprised?  I've been waiting so long for this!  Even non-directions will enjoy this film.  I did a whole review on this blog if you want to check it out click here.

Drink:
This month I've become addicted to Starbucks.  My current order is Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino.  I can't stop!  If you aren't a big fan of coffee flavored then order this drink.  It tastes nothing like coffee.  It actually tastes like a chocolate milkshake.  I love this drink!

Random:
This is SO random but I'm obsessed.  This month at the Teen Choice Awards they actually got Harry Styles to twerk.  Is there anything more to say?  Surprisingly he is very good at it.  I think I've watched over 100 times.  Enjoy!

YouTube:
This another moment that happened at the Teen Choice Awards.  Ashton Kutcher received the lifetime achievement award and gave the most inspiring speech.  It's all about working hard, being smart, and not being afraid to be different.  I was very touched and inspired by it.  People everywhere need to see this.  Let's all make a difference!

Book:
This month I started reading the Steve Jobs book.  I really wanted to read it before I saw the movie.  I can't put it down!  I'm a bit of a nerd so I love technology and computers.  It is very informative and gives you an insight into his mind.  It is very long but very worth it.

Quote:
I love this quote!  Why do people change to be like everybody else?  Be different!  Don't be afraid or scared to be different.  Who cares if people judge you.  Nobody wants to live in a world that's boring because everybody acts the same.

Moment:
My favorite moment this month was the VMA's.  I'm so glad it is award season time.  I've been watching the VMA's since I was little.  This year was one of my favorites in awhile.  So much stuff happened!  I did a whole reaction post here.

This Is Us Movie Review

It's finally out!  Tonight I went to see the One Direction film This Is Us.  Before the movie even started girls were screaming and freaking out.  It felt really weird because it was just a movie not an actual concert.  I was honestly really excited to see it.  I loved the movie so much!  It had funny moments but was also serious on some parts.  I definitely recommend seeing it in 3D.  It felt like you were apart of it.  Surprisingly I didn't cry during it.  There were plenty of shirtless moments of all the boys,  They did quite a few songs from the tour which surprised me.  As a fan it just made me love them even more.  I think it will make you a fan if you weren't one already.  I can't wait for the DVD!

My 2013 VMA Reaction

Last night was the night we've all been waiting for!  Let's begin with the preshow first.  I was waiting for Lady Gaga to show up in some crazy outfit but I was totally let down.  She showed up in a plain boring black dress.  Step it up Gaga!  I loved both Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift's outfits.  They were just a bit too classy for the VMA's but hey maybe it needed that.  Also big news was announced!  Danity Kane is back!  I was obsessed with them so I can't wait.  Also announced during a commercial was Eminem's next album!  I'm extremely ready for that!  There were two performances during the preshow.  First up was Austin Mahone.  I'll admit that I love him and consider myself a Mahomie.  He sang his song What About Love and I of course loved it.  Next up was Ariana Grande.  She did a mash up of Baby I and The Way.  I like her songs but I don't like her performances.  All she does is high riffs which gets annoying.  Finally it was time for the show!  I honestly don't really remember who won everything but I'll put the list below.  One Direction won Best Summer Song for Best Song Ever!  Apparently the crowd booed them which made me mad.  They deserved that award!  My favorite award moment though was Taylor Swift's acceptance speech.  She won for I Knew You Were Trouble which was always rumored to be about Harry Styles.  It has been confirmed because she totally dissed him during her speech!  I love 1D and I also love her.  Most of the 1D fandom is pissed about it but I applaud her.  What girl wouldn't want to call out their ex on national TV?  Don't even try to say you wouldn't.  So Taylor you go girl!  Now let's talk performances.  Lady Gaga opened the show with her new single Applause.  It was typical Gaga and I didn't love it.  She was pretty much naked by the end which nobody wanted to see.  Next was Miley Cyrus singing We Can't Stop.  WTF Miley?  She is a hot mess!  It was awful and then it got even worse.  Robin Thicke joined her for Blurred Lines.  It was so nasty and totally inappropriate!  Next was Kanye West but honestly I didn't watch because I hate him.  Moving on to the moment the whole world was waiting for.......JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE!!!!!!  It should have just been him the whole 2 hours.  Nobody would've minded trust me.  He performed for like 20 minutes.  He did a melody of all his hits and then it happened!  *NSYNC WAS BACK!  I almost fainted, I'm not even lying.  I want more!  Macklemore performed Same Love.  I like the meaning but is so over played right now.  Drake performed next but I was still freaking out over JT so I don't remember much.  Finally Katy Perry ended the show with her single Roar.  I love this song so much but the performance was blah.  I wanted more craziness.  Overall the VMA's were great and I can't wait for next year!  Tell me your thoughts in the comments!
