My January Playlist!

It's my first playlist of 2015!  If you are new to blog, I will explain what this is.  Every month, on the last day, I upload ten songs I've been loving for the month.  I hope your month has been a great start to the New Year.  So far I've been doing great!  Are you keeping up with your 2015 goals?  I'm getting myself back on track.  If you want to check out last month's playlist click here.  I had a hard time choosing the songs for this playlist but I finally got it perfect!  What songs are you loving?

1. I Lived by OneRepublic
This is my anthem for 2015.  I've already experienced a lot but this year I want to go outside my comfort zone.  I need to stop thinking and just live.  Hopefully I can do everything I've dreamed of doing bug nobody is guaranteed tomorrow.  This video is really inspiring as well because I don't let my disease stop me either.  Favorite lyric: I, I did it all I, I did it all I owned every second That this world could give I saw so many places The things that I did Yeah, with every broken bone I swear I lived

2. Sugar by Maroon 5
I forgot how much I loved this song!!!  I hadn't played the album in awhile but I'm now addicted all over again.  I wish I was seeing them in tour again!  I love the music video SO much.  If Adam Levine showed up unannounced at my wedding I would die!  He's just amazing.  Favorite lyric: I don't wanna be needing your love I just wanna be deep in your love And it's killing me when you're away, ooh, baby 'Cause I really don't care where you are I just wanna be there where you are And I gotta get one little taste

3. Change Your Ticket by One Direction
I still can't stop playing their new album.  My favorite song is always changing but for now it's this one.  It's up beat but still a mature sound.  I'm so glad they are evolving because I can't get enough!  To be honest I'd love anything they did.  I will be seeing them live this summer and I can't wait!  Favorite lyric: Don't play innocent I know what you meant When you said you'd come over Aren't we way past that? Playin' hard to get We did that when we were younger

4. The Hanging Tree by Jennifer Lawrence
If you haven't seen Mockingjay yet then you'll have no clue what it is.  This has been stuck in my head the entire month.  It's SO catchy!  I honestly thought I'd never hear it on the radio.  Somehow they remixed it and I love it.  I am constantly humming it!  Favorite lyric: Are you, are you Coming to the tree? They strung up a man They say who murdered three Strange things did happen here No stranger would it be If we met at midnight In the hanging tree

5. I Wish You Would by Taylor Swift
I couldn't find a working link but trust me it's amazing.  It's by far my favorite song on the album!  I love how the beat changes.  I love the meaning too.  I just think all her lyrics are phenomenal.  She is just amazing!  Go buy 1989 because you won't regret it!  Favorite lyric: I wish you would come back Wish I never hung up the phone like I did I wish you knew that I'll never forget you as long as I live.
And I wish you were right here, right now, it's all good. I wish you would I wish we could go back
And remember what we were fighting for And I wish you knew that I miss you too much to be mad anymore And I wish you were right here, right now, it's all good. I wish you would

6. Riptide by Vance Joy
I had to check him out because he's opening for Taylor Swift and I had never heard of him.  I love this song!  It really makes me wish summer were here already!  He has such a unique sound too.  This tour will be huge for his career and I can't wait to hear more!  Favorite lyric: Lady, running down to the riptide Taken away to the dark side I wanna be your left hand man I love you when you're singing that song And I got a lump in my throat 'Cause you're gonna sing the words wrong

7. Stuck On A Feeling by Prince Royce feat. Snoop Dogg
This my new jam!  I play it 50 times a day and I never get tired of it!  He must be new because I've never heard of him.  I discovered this song at 3 AM when I couldn't sleep.  This is typically when hear the best stuff.  I'm totally obsessed!!!  Favorite lyric: Ya just can't stop Once ain't enough Better lock this down Better box it up Gotta work me out Make it real Gotta make it count Get stuck on a feeling

8. 3am by Meghan Trainor
Her album has been a favorite this month.  My mom even loves it!  This song is my current favorite.  I just love her sound.  It sounds old school but with a modern twist.  I love that artists can do that because it makes them stand out.  Everybody can relate to her music as well.  Favorite lyric: I can't believe I'm still doing this I told myself a month ago that I'd be through with this I'm looking at my phone, and wondering if you're home I'm kinda tipsy, I ain't tryna sleep alone Somebody told me that some other girl was hugging you Baby, you know I'm the one that should be loving you You know we had a thing, baby, it's such a shame I still get crazy every time I hear your name

9. Somebody To You by The Vamps feat. Demi Lovato
I've actually loved this song for awhile but I just rediscovered it.  I forgot all about it until my iTunes played it.  I love when that happens!  I love the message and it's a super catchy song!  I need to listen to more of their music because I really like them.  They are really cute too!  Favorite lyric: Look at me now, I'm falling I can't even talk, still stuttering This ground of mine keeps shaking Oh oh oh, now! All I wanna be, yeah all I ever wanna be, yeah, yeah Is somebody to you All I wanna be, yeah all I ever wanna be, yeah, yeah Is somebody to you

10. Hand In My Pocket by Alanis Morissette
I've heard this song everywhere this month!  I had kinda forgotten about it honestly.  This song was a HUGE hit in the 90's.  Also her album was SO good!  I wish she still made music.  Go check out her Jagged Little Pill album!  It's life changing!  Favorite lyric: And what it all comes down to Is that I haven't got it all figured out just yet 'cause I've got one hand in my pocket And the other one is giving the peace sign

I Cut My Hair!

With the new year I wanted a new look.  So today I cut it all off!  I was inspired by Taylor Swift's short hair.  I also added highlights and bangs.  Here is the look!

I took a pretty big step.  I told myself that it's just hair and it will grow back.  I'm obsessed with the bangs though!  What do you guys think?

My Anorexia Story

Today I wanted to get personal with you guys.  I know that some of you may be dealing with this and I want to help.  I am an anorexic survivor.  The first step to any problem is admitting it.  Let's start from the beginning.

As a kid I was always quite chubby.  I couldn't be active thought due to being in a wheelchair.  My weight never bothered me until I was 11.  I was happy and just loving life.  I started noticing that all my friends were so skinny and could wear cute clothes.  I wanted to look like them.  Then it happened, I was called fat.  This totally devastated me.  I had to do something!  So I woke up one morning thinking if food makes you fat then not eating must make you skinny.  Logical right?

You have to remember that I was only 11 so I didn't even know eating disorders existed.  I started off by just skipping breakfast.  My parents worked full time so they never knew.  After a few months I realized I had lost a little weight.  It wasn't enough though so by summer I cut out lunch as well.  It took over my entire mind!  I became obsessed!  I was SO hungry but it was working!  People were noticing and say how good I looked!  My mom just assumed it was puberty until I decided I needed to be even skinnier.  Every night we ate dinner as a family so I had to take control but go unnoticed.  First I'd only eat half my plate and then a fourth until finally I would only eat 4-5 bites.  My mom would bribe and beg me to eat with ice cream, candy, and cake.

I'm not going to say my weight but I was slowly killing myself.  I was weak and tired all the time.  Finally my mom told me that if I kept going down this path I would die.  That's when it hit me.  I realized I wasn't being my true self.  I had let this obsession control me.  I started drinking Ensure shakes and slowly got my appetite back.  I'm not gonna lie, I still struggle daily with my weight.  You are never actually cured.  I still have thoughts about keeping my weight low.  I have learned to ignore them.  I just tell myself that I don't need to please others.  I am who I am.

If any of you are going through this know I'm here for you.  If you want talk privately you can email me or leave a comment.

Being The Bigger Person

Yesterday a disagreement happened between me and a person who I thought knew me pretty well.  I consider them to be a friend.  I've defended her, stood up for her, and been nothing but nice.  Now I feel betrayed.  I won't go into full detail but I've learned a major lesson.  What lesson?  Being the bigger person.

First off, no matter what the situation, there is a certain way to approach me.  You have to ease into it otherwise I am automatically defensive.  This is exactly what happened.  I freaked out!  I'm not a fighter but when I get mad words just fly out.  I don't stop and think.  I may have said a few things that offended and upset her.  I immediately wanted to call my mom because I knew she'd be in my corner.  Then I thought I'm 25 not 12 so I should probably handle it myself.

After being alone for a few minutes I cooled down.  I did apologize but she didn't seem to accept it.  I'm only human.  Of course I'm going to make mistakes and say things I don't mean.  It feels refreshing to be mature.  Sometimes, no matter what you do, you just need to be the bigger person.  I know it's hard but I know you can do it.

Quiz Tuesday: Which New Kid On The Block Is Your Spirit Animal?

It's Tuesday which means it's quiz time!  I'm actually super excited for this one.  It is called Which New Kid On The Block Is Your Spirit Animal?  In case you didn't know I'm slightly obsessed with NKOTB and I'm insanely jealous their tour isn't coming to my city.  Maybe someday I'll see them live.  You can take the quiz too here.

I got Joey!  The description says: You’re naturally young at heart, and you approach every situation with childlike enthusiasm and curiosity. But that doesn’t mean you’re naïve and helpless. In fact, you’re amazingly talented! If people are lucky enough to see you in action, they’ll be blown away by your incredible skills.

I think the description is totally spot on.  That is how I approach every situation.  To be honest I'm sad I didn't get Donnie.  I just love him so much!  Who did you get?  Share in the comments!

Eos Strawberry Sorbet Review

I've been on the look out for a good lip balm for awhile now.  I've always seen the eos lip balm but never purchased it.  My friend finally made me try it and now I am obsessed!  I know that I'm totally late to the party.

I bought the Strawberry Sorbet flavor but there are many flavors to try.  My first reaction was that it smells heavenly!  All of the eos lip balms are natural, eco friendly, and even gluten free.  I really like those qualities in a product.  Most chapsticks and lip balms feel waxy when you put them on but this completely opposite!  It feels SO smooth going on!  I just can't get over it.  I take this pretty much everywhere.  I want to buy more flavors now!

I highly recommend this product.  You can buy it pretty much everywhere.  It cost $3.50 for one but there are usually deals.  What flavors do you think I should get next?  Also let me know if you have any lip balms I should try.

#DeflateGate

We are only a week away from the Super Bowl!  I've been watching for as long as I can remember.  I do enjoy the game but I mainly socialize.  This year it is The Seahawks vs. Patriots.  There is some controversy so I thought I'd share my thoughts.

In the final playoff game the Patriots played the Colts.  It has been proven that the Patriots played with deflated balls to have a better grip in the rain.  The consequence?  They only had to pay a fee and can still play in the Super Bowl.  This is totally wrong!  If this were just a regular game then I'd be fine with the fine.  This was the playoffs for the biggest game of the season.  The Patriots should be disqualified!

It's too late now for a change.  Let's just hope the Seahawks beat them fairly.  What are your thoughts?  I'm also excited for Katy Perry to perform the halftime show.  Who are you rooting for?  Let me know!

Movie Review: Paddington

Today I decided to surprise my nieces and take them to see the movie Paddington.  I grew up reading the books so I was excited to share that with them.  I'm very surprised that most people my age have no clue who he is.  I was a bookworm though so maybe I'm the odd one.

I highly recommend this film.  It is really funny and even adults were laughing!  I also loved the animation.  Everything just seemed to flow between the animated bear and the actors.  The story line was excellent as well.  I'm not gonna lie there were tears shed.  This is perfect for young kids especially because it is only an hour and 35 minutes.  My nieces never moved a muscle so I'd say that is a plus.

If you've seen this film then tell me your thoughts.  Also let me know if you read the books so I feel less nerdy.

3 Tips To Deal With Anxiety

I have had anxiety for as long as I can remember.  It was extremely bad during my high school years.  If I had a speech then I would literally throw up because I was so anxious.  Taking a test, no matter how prepared I was, I would go completely blank and forget it all.  It was awful.  The doctors always think meds are the answer but I'm here to share tips on how to help with the anxiety.  It doesn't cure you but it really does help with the symptoms.  I really hope these help you as well!  Share your tips in the comments!

Breathing Exercises:
Sometimes I will wake up having an anxiety attack but have no idea why.  I usually just close my eyes and take deep breaths until I feel calmer.  I like this tip because you can do it anywhere.

Make A Playlist:
Music is my answer for EVERYTHING!  When I start to feel anxious I always play my Taylor Swift or One Direction playlist.  This helps take my mind off of whatever I'm worried about.  You can also do a playlist of calming sounds if that's better for you.

Sleep:
I know this probably seems like an odd tip but it really works.  You can do a 20-30 min nap and wake up feeling calmer and more relaxed.  This is really ideal before a stressful class.

Quiz Tuesday: Which 90's Romantic Comedy Leading Man Is Your Soulmate?

Is it really only Tuesday? I feel like this week is going super slow.  It's Quiz Tuesday and I'm really excited for today's quiz.  It is Which 90's Romantic Comedy Leading Man Is Your Soulmate?  I'm obsessed with anything 90's and I love movies so it should be fun.  You can take the quiz by clicking here.

I got Robbie from “The Wedding Singer”!  The description says: Music is your passion, and nothing’s sexier to you than someone who loves it as much as you do.

I have to say that the description is dead on.  I LOVE music!  I'm not a huge fan of "The Wedding Singer" but I do love Adam Sandler.  I'll take it!  Share your results in the comments!

Miracles Aren't Real?

Last week I read an article that really upset me.  If you aren't into religion then you may not like this post.  Just know that these are my thoughts and opinions.  I'd like to know your thoughts in the comments.

A guy named Kevin Malarkey wrote a book called The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven after he was in a coma for 2 months due to a car accident.  This left him paralyzed.  At the time he was 6 and at 17 he is claiming it was all fake.  He made the entire story up!  He is quoted saying: "Please forgive the brevity, but because of my limitations I have to keep this short. I did not die. I did not go to Heaven,” Malarkey writes, calling, well, malarkey on himself. “I said I went to heaven because I thought it would get me attention. When I made the claims that I did, I had never read the Bible. People have profited from lies, and continue to. They should read the Bible, which is enough. The Bible is the only source of truth. Anything written by man cannot be infallible."  I totally disagree with his statement.

I was raised a Christian.  I went to church every Sunday and studied the Bible.  He is right that people should read the Bible but how dare he claim other peoples experiences are lies.  Just because he lied about his story doesn't mean others did.  I believe miracles happen and sometimes we have spiritual experiences in order to have a second chance at life.  We are all on this Earth for a purpose.  We don't necessarily know our purpose but that's just a part of life.  You have to make the most out of our life especially if we have a second chance.

I personally never read this book but I have read others.  The books are meant to inspire people not take the place of the Bible.  You can't group everybody into your category.  I'm glad he admitted the truth but he still made a profit so he probably shouldn't be judging others.  The book has since been pulled from stores as it should be.  What do you think about this?  I'd love to hear!

Movie Review: Whitney

Who doesn't love a good Lifetime movie?  I could literally spend my entire day watching them!  So when they announced a movie about Whitney Houston I was instantly excited.  I'll admit that I wasn't a huge fan but she was the greatest female vocalists of all time.

To be honest, I was slightly disappointed in the film.  I knew nothing about how she was discovered or really anything about her life besides what the tabloids said.  I really wanted to see that side of her but instead the whole film focused on her relationship with Bobby Brown.  They should have just called it Bobby instead of Whitney.

I did learn some things though.  Everybody claims that Bobby introduced her to drugs but in reality she got him started.  That was shocking to me.  It also eluded that she may have been having a lesbian relationship with her close friend.  We'll never really know though.  The actress, Yaya DeCosta, who portrayed Whitney did a pretty good job.  She looked eerily similar.  I wish they would have have had her lip sync not because she had a terrible voice.  Let's just just real, she was nowhere near Whitney's level because pretty much no one is.

Overall, it wasn't as good as I had hoped but I still enjoyed it.  Did any of you watch?  What did you like or dislike?  Tell me your thoughts in the comments!

My Celebrity Crush Is...

Let's be real, my celebrity crush changes quite often.  If you have followed my blog for awhile now then you'll know I'm obsessed with One Direction.  For awhile Louis was my favorite which he still is.  My real crush though is Harry Styles!

To be honest when I first started listening to the band I didn't see the appeal.  Now that he is a little older and more mature I finally get it.  When I went to their concert 2 years ago is when I realized how attractive he is.  I just couldn't look away!  I love the dimples A LOT!  He is known as the "player" of the group but I don't believe it.  He just seems to sweet and charming.  I'm also a total sucker for tattoos so it works out.

I'm actually going to their concert this summer!  I can't wait!  I really want to meet the whole band and maybe you guys could help me.  Tweet this to Harry and all the other members.  It would make my year!  Tell me who your celebrity crush is!

Udderly Smooth Review

Today I thought I would share my favorite product at the moment.  It is the Udderly Smooth hand cream.  This stuff is AMAZING!  During the winter I get really dry skin and always try multiple products.  My sister had this in her bag so I gave it a try.  I had never even heard of it before.  I noticed a difference immediately and had to buy some.  I never leave the house without it!  I use it on my whole body and I rarely have any dry skin.  The best part is you can buy it at drugstores for about $3.  They do have other products as well but I just use this.  A little bit goes a long way!  It is super creamy and an awesome moisturizer.  You never feel greasy either which is nice.  I also think the packaging is cute and eye catching.  I highly recommend it!  Have you tried this product?  Let me know!  Also follow my Twitter @jerica_89 to never miss a post!

Why Taylor Swift Is My Idol

We all have somebody we look up to besides our parents.  Let's be honest, we all have that one celebrity that we idolize.  For me it is Taylor Swift.  The first time I found out about her was when I was 16.  She was opening up for Rascal Flatts and it was her very first arena show.  My sister knew her songs but I was obsessed the second she started singing.  Her first album was pretty much the anthem for my senior year of high school.  I just feel like she is my best friend.  Hopefully someday I can meet her!

Also can we just talk about her style?  It is FLAWLESS!  Every single thing she wears just suits her.  She needs to make a clothing line ASAP!  I would buy every item for sure.  I'm also obsessed with her new chic haircut.  I'm actually cutting mine just like it next week just because I love it SO much!

We all know if we had the chance we would totally write a breakup song to an ex.  She does it in a classy but witty way.  All her lyrics are on point always.  I've been to every tour and each one gets better and better.  It's so cool watching all her songs come to life.  I'm super pumped for the 1989 tour mostly because I love the album but I was also born that year too.  Tell me who your idol is.

Quiz Tuesday: Which Frozen Character Are You?

It's time for Quiz Tuesday!!  Since it is only 20 degrees outside today I thought this would be appropriate.  Today's quiz is Which Frozen Character Are You?  Who isn't obsessed with Frozen?  I sadly can't get enough.  I use my nieces as an excuse but in reality I want to watch!  You can take the quiz here.

I got Kristoff!  The description is: You are hardworking and kind, with a bigger heart than you sometimes let on. Once people get to know you, they always want to be your friend…or maybe something more! :)

I have to agree!  I really do have a big heart.  Only people really close to me know that though.  I'm a bit shy but once you know me I'm not shy at all.  I was kinda hoping for Olaf because I just love him!  Share your results!  Also let me know if you enjoy this series.

Hindsight Review

I know I watch too much TV shows already but I have a new obsession.  It is Hindsight which is a new scripted series on VH1.  I saw the previews for it over Christmas and immediately hit record.

The show follows a girl named Becca.  It is the night before her second marriage and she keeps on reflecting about her life.  She keeps thinking if she could go back would she change anything that has happened.  Suddenly she wakes up and it is 1995 again.  It is also the day of her first wedding.

I love the 90's which is what drew me in.  It really makes you wish you were back there as well.  I love that this show isn't about time travel.  It's about reliving your life over and choosing better options.  It's basically a second chance.  Plus it is super funny!

Would you go back and change anything in your life?  I would totally go back to the 90's!  In 1995 I was 6 years old and lovin' life.  I don't think I'd make any changes though except to convince my mom to let me go to an *NSYNC concert.  I highly recommend this show!  Let me know your thoughts!

Is Technology Taking Over Your Life?

This quote is true for many of us especially in today's society.  People live their lives through social media instead of having real human interaction.  I will be 26 in July and to be honest I miss the days where Internet and computers hardly existed.

Growing up we did have a computer but the Internet was sketchy.  We certainly didn't have Facebook or Twitter.  I got my first cell phone at 15 when now kids have them at 10.  I had sleepovers all the time when I was a kid and we didn't have a Wii or iPad to keep us entertained.  We listened to a boom box, played board games, and made up stories for our Barbies.  We also used real film and developed our photos to display.

I feel like this generation is missing out!  They live through social media and their phones.  Kids need to experience an actual childhood!  My nieces who are 3 and 4 can use an iPad better than I can!  Go outside and put down the technology!  Experience the real world!

This goes for all of us as well.  I don't know how many times I've been having a conversation and the other person pulls out their phone.  It's SO annoying!  Let's change this!  I'm not saying that technology isn't helpful, I just want to fix this vortex we are stuck in.

Make it a goal to have a least one human encounter a day.  It could be at lunch or a random person you meet.  Focus on what is being said because trust me you'll learn something.  Was it hard?  Did you learn anything?  Keep me posted on how it goes.

Lazy Day Essentials *Winter Edition*

It has been FREEZING where I live lately.  The high has only been about 6 degrees some days.  Nobody want to leave the house when this happens.  So, I've decided to come up with my lazy day essentials for when you just want nothing to do with winter.  What are your essentials?

A Warm Blanket:
Nothing is better than curing up in bed or on the couch with a warm cozy blanket.  I highly recommend the Goose Down Comforter from Eddie Bauer.  They are pretty pricey but totally worth your investment!

Comfy PJ's:
Get your most comfortable PJ's on and leave your make up off.  Who cares what you look like on a lazy day?  There is nobody to impress except for maybe your pet.

Junk Food:
I love junk food!  I especially love donuts though.  Recently a Dunkin' Donuts opened near me in my town.  It's been quite dangerous because I just can't resist!  Other junk food must haves include chocolate, cheetos, and Little Debbie snack cakes.

Netflix Binge:
Who doesn't love binge watching Netflix?  I'm currently getting ready to start Gilmore Girls because I've never seen an episode!  Fun fact: Before the show was hugely popular I was going to audition but backed out the night before.

Sad Movie:
Sometimes you just want to have a good cry.  A Walk To Remember does it to me every single time!  I just love everything about this movie.

Good book:
If you get tired of the TV then a good book is the way to go.  I'm currently reading This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper.  I'm really enjoying it so far.

Book Haul!

One of my goals for 2015 is to read 10 books.  I've always loved to read.  As a kid my mom would have to buy me a new book every other day.  Now that I've graduated college I feel like I can finally get back into it.  So I bought a couple of books that I thought I'd share.  Do you have any recommendations?  Let me know!

I love true stories especially ones dealing with history.  This is about Louis Zamperini's incredible life story.  Plus the film looks AMAZING!

I loved this film!  I really wanted more details explained though so I bought the book.  It's about a family forced to sit shiva after their fathers death.

I read this book YEARS ago!  I reviewed the film here and I really wanted to refresh my memory.  I really wanna be able to compare them.

I love John Green!  I've heard SO much about this book.  I'm not exactly sure what it's about my friend highly recommended it.

Now Is Your Time

We are already a week into the new year.  Let's be real, most of us have either broken our resolutions or haven't even started.  I saw this quote on Instagram the other day and new I must post about it.  Nobody knows how much time we have left on Earth.  We all have a list of things we want to do before we die.  So why wait?  Life is too short for excuses.  I'll be 26 this summer and I want to accomplish as much as I can!  I have a mission for all of you.  Everyday day do something you love.  Don't keep putting it off.  If you want to run a marathon then start training now.  If you want to backpack through Europe then book the flight.  No more excuses!  Trust me you won't regret it.  Now is your time!  Tell me what you want to do!

Living With Muscular Dystophy But Not Letting It Define You

I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy when I was a year old.  If you don't know what this is, it means I have an extra chromosome which prevents me from walking.  Over time your muscles slowly deteriorate until ultimately you die.  This is just something that my parents and I have learned to deal with.  I'm hear to tell that you that just because you have a disease you don't have to let it define who you are.  I don't look in the mirror and see myself in a wheelchair.  All I see is a normal 25 year old who goes out to bars, goes to concerts, and just enjoys life.  Of course I know I have certain limitations but I still find a way.  I have never felt alienated or left out in my entire life.  I remember being 5 and wanting to play t-ball because my cousin did and my mom said I could.  In the end I hated it and quit after our first game.  The point is to not let anything define you except yourself.  You decide who you become not some stupid disease.  Muscular Dystrophy is only a small part of me and that's how it should be.  If you also have Muscular Dystrophy and would like to talk please email me.

Quiz Tuesday: What Kind Of Disney Princess Are You?

Hey guys!  Welcome to my new series called Quiz Tuesday!  I'm obsessed with all the different quizzes online so I thought why not blog it.  I'll share which quiz I took and my results.  You guys can take it and share your results as well.  Today's quiz comes from BuzzFeed.  It is the What Kind Of Disney Princess Are You quiz and you can take it here.

I got Revival Princess!  Here's what my results say: You’re a Revival Princess. Goofy, fun, and spunky. You appeal to the modern girl. You’re always bubbling with energy, but you aren’t perfect, and you aren’t afraid to let the world know that (seriously how many times do you have to shove how goofy and relatable you are in our face?).

I totally agree with this!  I am a very bubbly person and I do speak up A LOT.  Make sure you take it and share your results!

Book Corner: Girl Online Review

I was so excited when Zoe announced that she was releasing a book.  I love her YouTube videos so I bought the book right away.  I know there was/is a lot of controversy that she didn't write it but I honestly didn't care.  I finally just finished it since school and the holidays are over.  I think the cover is beautiful and totally fits her personality.  The book is about a girl named Penny who writes an anonymous blog.  It follows her journey through school, love, and just life in general.  I loved this book a lot!  It's a pretty easy read which is always nice.  It kept my attention as well.  I do wish it had more blogging parts but maybe that's just because I'm a blogger.  I also wanted it to be longer because I was so invested with the characters and now I can't wait for a sequel.  I loved how she talked about real issues such as anxiety, bullying, and being gay.  More authors should take note of this.  I highly recommend this book if you like girly fun books.  Have you read it?  Tell me your thoughts!

My 2015 Goals

Now that our New Years Eve hangovers have hopefully disappeared, I thought I would do a post about my goals for 2015.  I've never set resolutions before mostly because I don't like really like that word.  I feel like resolutions always fail so why not make goals instead.  It's easier for me to set many goals to achieve.  2014 was an AMAZING year for me!  I got to meet one of my biggest idols of my life Justin Timberlake.  I never imagined that would happen.  I also got to meet Aaron Carter which was an awesome experience as well.  I graduated from college with a degree in Computer Science.  A lot of really great things happened and plan on making 2015 even better!  What are some of your goals for this year?

Reconnect with my dad:  I haven't spoken to my dad in about 4 or 5 years.  He and my mom got divorced and he moved out of the area.  I recently found out he's moving back this year.  I'm hoping our relationship can be fixed and continue to grow.

Take a vacation:  I'd really like to take a family vacation this year.  My mom, sisters, and I haven't been on a vacation together in forever.  Now I have two nieces as well who would love it.  Even if it's just going to the state fair at least we are all together.

Learn French:  This probably seems like an odd goal but it really isn't.  In high school I wanted to study French but took Spanish instead.  I discovered an app called Duolingo so I'm ready to learn.

Read 10 books:  I've always loved to read.  Now that I'm done with school I will have more time.  This should be easy to complete.

Blog 5 days a week:  I want to be more active on this blog.  Ideally I want to blog Monday through Friday.  I'll be happy with at least 3 posts a week though.

Meet Taylor Swift and One Direction:  I'm going to see both of them in concert.  Meeting them would be the best thing EVER!  If anyone can help me out then please let me know.  I'm dreaming big!  I'd be happy with just meeting one.

Drink more water:  I don't really ever drink water so I figured I would attempt this.
