My July Playlist!

July is over!!!!  I'm actually really sad because it is one of my favorite months.  I had my 26th birthday which I was AMAZING!  Even though none of my actual plans happened it was still a great birthday.  I also went to two different concerts.  First I went to Kenny Chesney which was for my birthday.  On Tuesday I went to see One Direction!!!  It was just a good month overall.  I also discovered some awesome new music.  Don't worry there are a couple of throwbacks also.  I've been SUPER into country music which you'll notice in this playlist.  I'm still obsessed with last months playlist which you can find here.  What songs are you listening to?

1. Can't Feel My Face by The Weeknd
I tried SO hard to not like this song because I'm not a huge fan of him.  I just couldn't resist!  I am constantly singing or humming it all day long.  Everything about it is catchy!  I'm still not convinced to buy any other songs by him though.  I did buy this song and I listen to it daily.  I'm not a fan of the video though.  Favorite lyric: She told me, "Don't worry about it" She told me, "Don't worry no more" We both knew we can't go without it She told me you'll never be in love-oh-oh, wooh I can't feel my face when I'm with you But I love it, but I love it, oh I can't feel my face when I'm with you
But I love it, but I love it, oh

2. Should've Been Us by Tori Kelly
She is slowly becoming my obsession.  I just love everything about her!  Her voice is just flawless and so unique.  I also love her style and personality.  I'd really love to see her live sometime.  I play this song every morning because I just want to belt it out while getting ready.  We all do it so deny it.  Let me know if you have her album and if I should buy it.  Favorite lyric: It should've been us Shoulda been a fire, shoulda been the perfect storm It should've been us Coulda been the real thing, now we'll never know for sure, ooh We were crazy, but amazing, baby we both know It should've been us, us It, it, it should've been us

3. Good For You by Selena Gomez
I've been a fan for a couple of years now so I'm glad she has new music out.  When I heard this song on the radio I had no clue it was her.  The sound is COMPLETELY different sound and I'm loving it!  It is much more mature so she'll probably lose her younger fans but she'll gain new ones.  The video took me by surprise.  It's sexy but not crazy like Miley Cyrus did.  I applaud her.  Favorite lyric: Gonna wear that dress you like, skin-tight Do my hair up real, real nice And syncopate my skin to your heart beating 'Cause I just wanna look good for you, good for you, uh-huh I just wanna look good for you, good for you, uh-huh Let me show you how proud I am to be yours Leave this dress a mess on the floor And still look good for you, good for you, uh-huh

4. 21 by Hunter Hayes
I'm in love with Hunter Hayes.  Even my grandpa who is 73 loves him.  He is just the best!  I've been playing this song all month.  It fit perfectly since it was my birthday.  Even though I didn't turn 21 that is the message behind the song.  We can all feel 21 no matter what age we are.  I really hope this means he'll have a new album out soon!  Favorite lyric: That's the way that we're doing it, doing it We go big or we go back home People looking at us like we're losing it, losing it But, baby, we ain't doing nothing wrong Gonna be up all night Chasing the sunrise Like we're wild and young Baby, kids on the run Gonna party like we just turned 21

5. Yeah Boy by Kelsea Ballerini
I discovered her on YouTube and I immediately bought her album.  That is very unusual for me!  She reminds me of Taylor Swift a lot.  She seems to be very relatable to girls based of her songs.  All her songs are just SO good!  I like that she has a country sound because a lot of artists don't anymore.  I really hope she comes to Nebraska because I will go see her for sure!  Favorite lyric: Yeah, boy I'm digging what you're doing Yeah, boy I'm trying to keep it cool But you're making it hard, I'm wishing your arms Were wrapping me up tight Yeah, boy You shine and you can't even help it Yeah, boy Your eyes could make the moon jealous And if you wanna know if I wanna be your girl tonight Yeah, boy

6. Good Thing by Sage The Gemini feat. Nick Jonas
This is another 3 AM discovery.  I was watching videos on TV and then I heard Nick Jonas.  The obsession is real!  He looks SO good in the video too!  It is a very catchy song and it pops in my head at random times.  I don't know any other Sage The Gemini songs but I am a fan of this one!  Favorite lyric: This ain't nothing but dangerous We about to be over it Why can't it just be what it is Why can't it be what it is We're both getting emotional Same time getting so sexual Why can't it be what it is
Why can't it be what it is I know, you know, we know We can make the good thing keep happening
Good thing keep happening I know, you know, we know We can make the good thing keep happening Good thing keep happening

7. Ain't No Other Man by Christina Aguilera
This song is a total throwback!  This was my jam back when I was a senior in high school.  I even had it as my ring tone!  This month I heard it EVERYWHERE!  It was my iPod, the radio, and even on TV.  It made me love it all over again.  It just brought back SO many memories!  I was only 17 when it came out.  That makes me feel very old!  Favorite lyric: Ain't no other man, can stand up next to you Ain't no other man on the planet does what you do (what you do) You're the kinda guy, a girl finds in a blue moon You got soul, you got class You got style with your bad ass oh yeah Ain't no other man its true all right Ain't no other man but you

8. I Go Back by Kenny Chesney
In my Kenny Chesney post I said you would have to check my playlist to find out my favorite song.  Here it is!  This song will forever be my favorite by him.  I just love the meaning behind it.  A lot of songs hold a lot of memories for me.  That's the greatest thing about music.  Music will always be a huge part of me no matter what.  Favorite lyric: I go back to a two toned short bed Chevy Drivin my first love out to the levvy Livin life with no sense of time And I go back to the feel of a fifty yard line
A blanket, a girl, some raspberry wine Wishin time would stop right in its tracks Everytime I hear that song, I go back

9. Let Me See Ya Girl by Cole Swindell
OMG you guys this song is my current obsession!  I literally have it on repeat all day.  I actually heard it on the way back from the Kenny Chesney concert.  I only heard it once and now I'm addicted!  It's really catchy and I just can't get enough!  I've never heard any of his other music so I'm not sure if I like any other songs or not.  This song is a winner though!  Favorite lyric: Girl you're tearin' that dance floor up Let me see you do it in the bed of my truck You sure know how to shake it alright Let me see you do it in the Tennessee moonlight Woah, baby lets go down a little road nobody else knows Just me and you park on the edge of the world That's how I wanna see you girl

10. Act My Age by One Direction
This was one of my favorite performances at the concert.  It just makes you want to dance!  Niall even did the Irish jig!  It was great and I wish I was back already!  This song definitely fits their personality because they don't act like they are 21.  Even my mom liked this song.  I can't wait for the new album!  Favorite lyric: I won't act my age, no, I won't act my age No, I'll still feel the same around you I won't act my age, no, I won't act my age No, I'll still feel the same and you will, too
Hey! When I can hardly walk and my hair is falling out We'll still stay up 'til morning We'll throw the after-party, oh, yeah, oh, yeah

My On The Road Again Tour Experience

On Tuesday night I traveled 3 hours to go see One Direction!!!!!!  I saw them 2 years ago and it was even better this time!  Opening the show was Icona Pop.  I missed most of their set because of traffic and I was buying a t-shirt.  What I did see of their set was pretty good.  Of course they ended their set singing my jam I Love It.  This got the crowd super pumped!

Next up were the boys!  It took at least an hour or more before they took the stage after Icona Pop.  It was totally worth it though!  I was really interested to see if it would be different without Zayn but I honestly didn't even notice.  I think they sounded even better!  This was my first ever stadium show and it didn't disappoint!!!  It was 100 degrees outside but nobody minded!  The crowd and show were just AMAZING!

They sang SO many songs!  I love how there was a variety of songs from all of their albums.  My favorites were 18, Where Do Broken Hearts Go, and Little Things.  Harry stole the show with all his speeches.  I'm in love!  The best part of the night was when Louis and Liam got into a water fight that turned into a powerade fight.  It was just the best!  I missed it on my camera but I'll put the YouTube video below.  Overall, I'm SUPER sad it's over now.  Hopefully I'll see them again soon!  Have you guys been to a show?  Let me know what you thought!

Weekly Obsession!

Today's post isn't really a new obsession but it's getting slightly out of control.  I just can't stop buying them!  My weekly obsession is...solar dancing flowers!!  Back in March I saw one is somebody's car and thought it was so cool.  So my mom bought me one and I now have 6.  I'm very easily entertained.  I also have a dancing butterfly and penguin.  I just think they are so cute!  I want more!  I find myself just staring at them throughout the day.  Do you guys have any solar flowers?  Let me know!

Quiz Tuesday: Which Pop Diva Are You?

Happy Tuesday!!!!  As you are reading this I'm in Kansas City!!!  Tonight I'll be going to the One Direction concert.  Since I'm going to a pop concert I thought today's quiz was appropriate.  It's called Which Pop Diva Are You?  I wish I was a pop star because I think it would be fun.  I'd love to travel the world!  I hope I get somebody I like!  You can take this quiz by clicking here.  Let me know what you got!

I got Katy Perry!  The description says: You’re a bit conventional, but very fun. You’ve got a lot of friends, and you’re the type of person who always seems to be in a serious relationship.

I was really hoping for Taylor Swift but I do like Katy Perry.  I think this is pretty accurate.  I like to be a really fun person because nobody likes boring people.  I'm in a serious relationship though.

♥My Road Trip Essentials♥

Hey guys!  I'm going on a road trip TOMORROW!!!!!!  I'm going to see One Direction in Kansas City.  I've been really excited about this concert for awhile now.  Even though I'm only going 2-3 hours away there are still things I must have with me.  I thought I would share my road trip essentials.  If you have any suggestions of things I missed be sure to let me know!

Energy Drink:
We could all use more energy especially on road trips.  My favorite is Red Bull.  It makes me very hyper but that's a good thing.  This is a must if you are with friends because you don't want to miss any moments.  Also if you are trying to drive 7-8 hours without stopping then definitely drink this.

Comfy Clothes:
I hate being uncomfortable especially in the car.  There typically isn't a lot of room so be sure to choose your most comfortable outfit.  I usually wear a dress or something loose fitting.  It just makes life SO much easier!

Snuggie:
This the best invention ever!  I have at least 4 different snuggies and I'm obsessed!  My favorite is the peace sign one.  I am always cold so this perfect for the car.  You can just put this on and you can stay warm.  It doesn't take up a lot of room either.

Playlist:

Having a good playlist is essential to every good road trip!  Every time I go on a road trip I make a list of songs I'm loving.  I like to choose upbeat songs because slow songs always make me sleepy.  I like songs I can just sing at the top of my lungs!  A must have song for me is the Macarena.  It's just the best song!

GPS:
I am terrible at directions so I need a GPS.  It's perfect because if you make a wrong turn it will recalculate for you.  I don't know how people survived without them!

Cooler:
I always bring a cooler with us.  It really does come in handy plus it saves you a lot of money.  You can pack drinks, snacks, or even sandwiches so you don't have to buy fast food.  Just fill it with ice before you leave and it will last awhile.  You can just refill it before you leave your hotel too.  It's perfect!

Snacks:
Snacks are always a must.  I always get hungry in the car especially on long rides.  I like to buy snack packs like fruit snacks.  It helps you not to over eat and feel sick.  I've also bought chip packs, candy bars, and cheese sticks.  There will be plenty of options which I like!

Camera:
I love taking pictures of everything!  I like using an actual camera.  It is just better quality.  I really just like looking back at the memories.  I'll put some on here as well!

5 Shows I'm Currently Watching

Usually during the summer there is NOTHING on TV.  Somehow this year has been different.  I feel like I watch at least one show a night.  They have put out a TON of new shows.  There is also some returning shows as well.  Thank god I have DVR!  Today I thought I would share 5 shows that I'm currently watching.  What are you watching?

1. Hollywood Game Night
I am OBSESSED with game shows!  This is by far my favorite one.  It has celebrities and tons of crazy games that you could never think of on your own.  We actually have the board game and it gets intense!  I would love to be on that show!  I would totally dominate.  It's on every Tuesday night.  I highly recommend it!

2. Pretty Little Liars
Of course I couldn't not mention my favorite show EVER!  If you have never watched an episode of PLL then go to Netflix right now!  Each episode gets better and better!  This season has been SUPER creepy but I don't even care.  We are finally getting some answers and I want more!  It's on Tuesday nights also.

3. The Fosters
I have loved this show since last year.  It's about a lesbian couple and their kids.  I love how it shows that they aren't any different from any other family.  I pretty much cry during every episode but it's a good cry.  The drama is intense at times as well.  You can catch up on this show on Netflix too.  It's on Monday nights.

4. Big Brother
This show is my life every summer!  It is time consuming but it's just SO good!  It's basically a bunch of players living in a house and being filmed 24/7.  You can even watch the live feeds!  I watch the daily spoilers on YouTube instead.  It's only week 5 and people are acting crazy.  I love it!!  It's on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

5. Dance Moms
This show is my biggest guilty pleasure!  I wish I could be on the show!  I just love the drama!!!  I love the kids because all they care about is dancing.  The moms fight with pretty much everybody.  Of course the star of the show is Abby Lee Miller!  She has just lost her mind and I freaking love it!  I could watch it all day long!  It's on Tuesday nights.

Movie Review: The Longest Ride

I'm back with another movie review!  I'm slightly obsessed with anything Nicholas Sparks so I had to see The Longest Ride.  About a year or or two ago I read the book and I wasn't that impressed.  I didn't love it or hate it.  I just didn't think it flowed that well.  As I was reading the book I knew it was going to be a movie but I didn't know who the actors were.  I had heard the film was better and I'm glad I listened.

I am 100% in love with this movie.  It definitely is in my top 10 for sure!  The move is about two different couples.  The first is Luke and Sophia who are young and in love.  The other couple who is older are Ira and Ruth.  Luke and Sophia find Ira crashed on the side of the road and rescue him.  Every day Sophia comes to read Ira letters he had written for his late wife Ruth.  You learn that the two couples really aren't that different despite the age gap.  Luke is a professional bull rider who downplays the severity of his injury.  Sophia is an art major who has internship waiting for her in New York.  I'll leave it at that so I don't ruin anything.

I have a new love/obsession after watching this film.  It's Scott Eastwood!!!  I could stare at him all day long and his acting was great as well.  I felt the film flowed a lot better than the book did which is rare.  I highly recommend this film!  It has a love story but also a modern day western vibe.  Who doesn't love a hot cowboy?  Have you read the book or watched the film?  Which did you prefer?  Let me know your thoughts!

Weekly Obsession!

This past weekend I celebrated my birthday at my moms by having game night.  Of course you can't have people over without snacks.  I spotted these and now I can't get enough!  My weekly obsession is...Cheez-It Grooves!!!

I had never tried these until Saturday and now I'm hooked!  I bought the Zesty Cheddar Ranch flavor because I love anything ranch flavored.  They promote it as a cracker and chip combined.  I wouldn't totally describe them that way.  The texture is like a Sun Chip but these have better flavor in my opinion.  We didn't use any dip but you totally could.  I'm interested in checking out the other flavors.  Have any of you tried these?  Let me know your thoughts!!!!

Quiz Tuesday: Which Decade Do You Actually Belong In?

Happy Tuesday!!!  I was born in 1989 so I'm a 90's kid all the way.  Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live in another decade.  Today's quiz fits this theme perfectly.  It's called Which Decade Do You Actually Belong In?  I'm curious to see what my results are because I'm obsessed with every decade.  You can take the quiz also by clicking here.  Share your results in the comments!!

I got the 90's!  The description says: Help! You’re stuck in the ‘90s. You need to be immediately transported to the jiggy era of the walkman, Genesis, Fresh Prince, AOL chatrooms, and hair nubbins (waaaay before Miley donned them). Like, immediately.

This pretty much matches my childhood.  I was hoping for the 60's because I just love that era.  I do still love the 90's though!

♥What I Got For My Birthday♥

In case you didn't know I turned 26 last Wednesday.  I really enjoyed relaxing with my family.  Even though I am getting older I still got a couple of gifts.  I thought I would share what I got.  It wasn't much but I'm extremely grateful.

First I got Kenny Chesney tickets from my older sister.  I knew about this because she got them back in February or March.  I was SUPER excited about it!  If you want to know all about my experience click here.

If you follow me on Twitter you'll know I said I wish I could have an elephant for my birthday.  Well it kind of happened!  My grandpa bought me this beautiful figurine of a mama and baby elephant.  Elephants are my all time favorite animal so I am in love with this.  I can't stop staring at it!

It's weird as you get older how different things amuse you.  My grandma had an Air Wick automatic spray at her house and I loved it!  So she got me one for my birthday.  I got the fresh waters scent which reminds me of a summer rain.  You set it to spray every 10, 20, or 30 minutes which I really like.  Make sure you have it up high though because the spray is pretty intense.

My grandma also got me the movie The Longest Ride.  I am a big fan of Nicholas Sparks so I always buy his stuff.  I read this book and it wasn't my favorite but I didn't hate it either.  I've heard the movie was a little different so I'm excited.  Be on the look out for a review!

My nieces who are 3 and 4 decided I needed flowers.  They even picked out the vase too!  They are just the sweetest!

We have game nights at least once a month.  So my mom got me a new board game called Name 5.  It's really fun but slightly hard.  If you like a challenge then you'll love this!

My Kenny Chesney Tour Experience!!

One thing you might not know about me is that I am a country music fan.  I grew up listening to it because of mom.  As I got older I developed my own tastes but deep down I've always still love it.  The one artist that I've stuck with is Kenny Chesney.  I just love his relaxed, beachy, and chilled vibe.  His When The Sun Goes Down album was on repeat during my high school years.  He has come to Nebraska many times but it sells out SO fast!  When I saw he was coming THE DAY after my birthday I knew it was fate!  My sister actually got tickets and I was pumped!!!  So Thursday night my older sister and I went to the concert!

There was a pre-party before the show but we missed it.  It looked CRAZY though!  The opening act was Chase Rice.  I had no idea who he was and I was over him after about 2 minutes.  He was too rock and not enough country for my taste.  What really pumped the crowd up was when he performed Cruise which he actually wrote.  I did like his personality though.

Next up was Kenny Chesney!!!!  I honestly wanted the show to go on all night!  It was just SO much fun!  I knew every single song which made me happy.  It had a good mixture of slow and fast songs which some artists don't do.  There were some hits that I wish he had sang like Big Star or Never Wanted Nothing More.  I mean I guess that what happens when you have so many amazing songs.  He did play my favorite song which you'll have to find out what it is on my July playlist!  Overall I loved the whole experience and I will be going again for sure!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are probably wondering where my weekly obsession post is.  Don't worry it will be back next Wednesday.  Today is a special day though!  Today I am 26 years old!  It's crazy how fast time flies!  I remember when I thought being 10 was old.  Today I thought I would talk about what I've learned about me within this past year.  I really wanted to reflect on this point my life.  Also I want to be able to look back next year to see if I've changed.

Most people think 25 is a pretty boring age.  To be honest, I thought the same thing.  Looking back now I realize it's a pretty important time.  I really discovered who I was as a person.  My whole life I've been the shy quiet girl until you get to know me.  I never stood up for what I believe is right because I never felt heard.  I also never spoke my opinion because I was worried I'd hurt somebody's feelings.  That has all changed now.

I've realized that I really don't care what people think of me.  I wasted SO much time worrying about other people and now I'm just like who cares!  I really wish I could go back and tell my 15 year old self this information.  The only opinions that matter are yourself and God's.  That's it!  Be who YOU want to be!  That is what being 25 taught me.

It was also just I great year!  I met Aaron Carter which was SO cool.  I discovered that if you go to the movies on Tuesday it's only $5.  No matter what time which I took full advantage of for about a month straight!  I graduated college with a degree in Computer Science!  I wasn't even supposed to live past 3 due to my Muscular Dystrophy so it was a pretty big deal.  I started blogging more which I hope you guys enjoy.  Overall, I really just enjoyed time with my family and friends.

Now that I'm 26 I do have things I want to do as well.  I'd love to travel more to anywhere really.  I'm also going back to school to study Computer Programming.  I don't really want to make too many plans because life is supposed to be unexpected.  I do have some exciting things coming up so stay tuned!!  Now I'm going to enjoy my day.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quiz Tuesday: Can We Guess Your Age Based On The Words You Use?

Happy Tuesday!!!!!!  My birthday is tomorrow!!!!!!  I can't even believe it!  Today's quiz is about my birthday...kinda.  Today's quiz is called Can We Guess Your Age Based On The Words You Use?  This could go really well or terribly bad.  I hope it doesn't think I'm 80 or something.  I'll tell you how old I'll be at the end.  You can take this quiz with me by clicking here.  Be sure to share your results!

I got 42.  The description says: You’re at the point in your life where your slang and word usage is a little dated but that doesn’t bother you one bit. You’re established and educated but still relish the good old days. Over time, you are becoming a total language master.

Well they are WAY off!  I'm only going to be 26.  At least it says I'm well educated because that's true.  I'm not not sure how I feel about this but it was still fun!

Movie Review: The Imitation Game

It's been SOOO long since I've done a review!  Lately I've been watching a movie every night but this was by far my favorite.  It is called The Imitation Game.  To be honest I had no idea what it was about.  My grandma and I love history, especially anything WWII related, so when she told me a little bit about it I was intrigued.  It is based on a true story.  It's basically about a guy named Alan Turing who creates a machine to decode Nazi messages.  It's crazy how one man pretty much changed the world.  It was so fascinating to see how his brain worked.  This film made me become slightly obsessed with Benedict Cumberbatch.  He was just incredible!  There is a deeper storyline as well but I won't ruin it for you.  I'm not gonna lie there were tears shed but I cry easily.  I recommend this to everybody!  Even if you aren't a fan of history you will still enjoy it.  Let me know if you have seen this film!

Sparkling Ice Review!

If you read my summer essentials post then you know I've been trying to drink more water.  Even though I infused it with fruit I still wasn't feeling it.  So I went on the hunt for something better.  That is when I discovered Sparkling Ice and they kindly sent me some samples.  I am now OBSESSED!!!!

If you don't know what Sparkling Ice is I'll tell you all about it.  They sell carbonated drinks of many different flavors.  There are waters, lemonades, and iced teas.  I have only tried the waters and tea but I'm a fan for sure.  There are SO many benefits in these drinks.  They have Vitamin D, B3, B6, B12, B5, and Biotin.  There is also no calories.  The iced teas do contain caffeine but the water and lemonade don't.  It doesn't even taste healthy at all which is a plus.  It's definitely a better alternative than soda.

First I'll start with the iced tea.  I tried the raspberry flavor and I was honestly scared because I'm not a fan of raspberry.  I loved it!  It was very refreshing and fruity.  It wasn't super overpowering which I enjoyed.  I will buy that again for sure.  The waters I tried were Coconut Pineapple, Orange Mango, Cherry Limeade, Peach Nectarine, and Kiwi Strawberry.  My favorites were Cherry Limeade and Coconut Pineapple.  They were SO good!  My least favorite was Kiwi Strawberry.  It just was too bitter for my taste.  I'm interested in trying all the other flavors.  I hope someday they will make a grape flavor.  I think that would taste amazing.

If you have tried Sparkling Ice let me know your favorite flavor.  If you haven't tried it go check it out!

Throwback Thursday: Summer Vibes

My birthday is only 6 days away!!  I can't believe I'm going to be 26!  So I thought I would share a throwback.  This is when I was 3 or 4 and I got this pool for my birthday.  I LIVED in this pool!  I was a little bit bossy and would not let anybody else in my pool.  I was a diva for sure!  I also always had to have toys in my pool.  I'm not sure why but I was entertained for hours.  I would literally cry every time my mom would get me out.  I still love going to the pool.  I guess I haven't really changed much.  If you want more posts like this let me know.

Weekly Obsession!

This week's obsession is definitely against my diet.  I don't even care though!  My weekly obsession is... Butterfinger Cups!  Yes, this is a real thing!  My two favorite candies have combined into one.  They are heaven.  My grandma actually bought me the snack pack size which is perfect.  It has just the right amount and you can bring them anywhere with you.  A snack pack size is only 220 which isn't that bad.  I try to tell myself that it's ok to eat only one a day.  They are highly addictive though!  If you haven't tried them then you are missing out!  What is your favorite candy?  Let me know!

Quiz Tuesday: Are You More Optimistic, Pessimistic, Or Realistic?

Happy Tuesday!!!  I hope you all had a great 4th.  I did but I'm still exhasusted!  It's quiz time!!!!  Today's quiz is called Are You More Optimistic, Pessimistic, Or Realistic?  I thought this would be quite interesting.  In my mind I think I'm optimistic.  I've always also been told I'm a very optimistic person so I thought I would see if it's true.  If you want to take this quiz as well just click here.  Let me know what your results are!

I got Optimistic!  The description says: You are upbeat and always see the positive side of life. You have a firm grip on reality, and maintain a cheery attitude even when things aren’t going your way. It’s hard to keep you down because you see setbacks as temporary and use them as tools to get better.

I find that to be very accurate.  I don't like being negitive because it just makes be feel sad.  I try to see the good in every situation.  It really makes life so much better.  Maybe I'll do a whole post on it.

My 4th Of July Style

Can you believe that 4th Of July is tomorrow?  I'm SUPER excited because it's one of my favorite holidays.  We spend the day hanging out and eating way too much food!  At night is when all the fun begins!  Today I thought I would share what I'll be wearing for the holiday.  What are you wearing for the 4th?  Let me know!

This year I'll be wearing a romper for sure this year!  It's perfect because it looks like you spent a ton of getting ready but you didn't.  I love anything that cuts down my getting ready time.  They are really comfortable and not too tight.  This is perfect because then you can eat as much food as you want!  Also it's shorts so you will stay covered if it gets windy!

I'm OBSESSED with gladiator sandals this year.  I feel like they go well any outfit.  They are really comfortable as well.  I spend most of my day outside playing with my nieces so I don't want my feet hurting.  The only downside is you can get crazy tan lines but I don't mind!

Since I'll be outside most of the day I'm going to need sunglasses.  I've been loving the round style this year.  I wear prescription glasses but I normally wear non-prescription sunglasses.  My eyesight isn't that bad but now I can buy these.  These sunglasses are from Salt City Optics which is a prescription sunglasses site.  There are many styles, brands, and colors to choose from.  Check them out!

Hats are always a must during summer.  There are so many benefits!  It shades your face so you don't get a sunburn.  It also keeps your head cool which is always good.  This hat is from Forever 21 and super patriotic.  Go America!

I love fringe anything!  It just really makes me feel like I'm at Coachella when I'm not.  If I'm using a purse I prefer using the crossbody style.  It keeps your shoulder from hurting and it also helps prevent somebody from stealing.  I like the smaller sizes because them you are only carrying the essentials.

I wear bracelets with everything!  I love the odd shapes ones especially.  You can be as creative as you want and create different combos.  This set is from Forever 21 and I'm in love!  You can where them separately or all together.  You could even mix them with other bangles.
