My March Playlist!

March is over!!!!  I'm personally glad because my mouth is better...so far.  Hopefully I'm fixed!  I'm also glad because spring is here!  Our winter hasn't been as bad as some places but I'm over the cold.  I definitely have spring fever!  I will hopefully be blogging more regularly now that I'm fixed.  If you have any requests let me know.  This month's playlist is 90% female artists which I typically don't listen to.  I can't get enough!  If you missed last month's playlist you can check it out here.  I'm still loving it.  What songs are you loving?  Tell me in the comments!

1. Masterpiece by Jessie J
When I first heard this I had NO clue it was her.  It sounds so different from her other stuff but I love it!  The message is so powerful.  It shows that nobody is perfect.  It takes time to discover who we are as a person.  Whoever you choose to be is perfect no matter what others say or think.  Everybody needs this advice.  Favorite lyric: I still fall on my face sometimes And I can't color inside the lines
'Cause I'm perfectly incomplete I'm still working on my masterpiece And I, I wanna hang with the greats Got a way to go, but it's worth the wait No, you haven't seen the best of me I'm still working on my masterpiece

2. One Last Time by Ariana Grande
I find myself singing this song all the time.  It's just SO catchy!  This has always been one of my favorite songs from her album.  I haven't talked much about her album but I do love it.  I hate this music video though because I think the theme is dumb.  The song has nothing to do with meteor showers or the end of the world.  I'm not a fan but the song is great.  Favorite lyric: So one last time I need to be the one who takes you home One more time I promise after that I'll let you go Baby I don't care if you got her in your heart All I really care is you wake up in my arms One last time I need to be the one who takes you home

3. Trouble by Iggy Azalea feat. Jennifer Hundson
I'm back to listening to Iggy.  I got bored for awhile but this song just drew me in.  She is my favorite female rapper right now.  I listen to this every night while I'm getting ready for bed.  I really love the slightly old school sound.  Plus what girl hasn't fallen for a bad boy?  We've all been there!  Favorite lyric: Don’t you come here thinking you’re ballin' Ain't down for it You seem like trouble to me I can tell by the way that you lean And the way that you kiss your teeth And you turn up so fresh and clean
Smells like trouble to me

4. Superman (It's Not Easy) by Five For Fighting
I forgot all about this song!  My friend plays guitar and sings so that is how I rediscovered it.  It's such a great song!  I actually love all of their music.  Check them out if you get the chance.  I've been listening to it pretty much since my friend played it.  It should be on everybody's playlists.  Favorite lyric: It may sound absurd but don't be naïve Even heroes have the right to bleed I may be disturbed but won’t you concede Even Heroes have the right to dream And it's not easy to be me

5. I Really Like You by Carly Rae Jepsen
She's back!  A lot of people thought she would be a one hit wonder even I quite liked her last album.  I think it's the perfect song to kick off spring because I can totally see it being a prom anthem.  It's really fun and catchy which she does well.  I'm not a big fan of the video though.  I don't really get why Tom Hanks is in it but it's still an awesome song.  Favorite lyric: I really really really really really really like you And I want you. Do you want me? Do you want me too? I really really really really really really like you And I want you. Do you want me? Do you want me too? Oh, did I say too much? I'm so in my head When we're out of touch I really really really really really really like you
And I want you. Do you want me? Do you want me too?

6. Nobody Love by Tori Kelly
This is my current jam!  I constantly have it on repeat.  Her voice is just AMAZING!!  I've been listening to her music for awhile but this song has taken over my life.  It's soulful and old school and pretty much perfection.  I just can't get enough!  The video is really cool too.  I just love how simple yet powerful everything she does is.  Favorite lyric: I should be more cynical and tell myself that’s not okay (To feel this good when I’m with you) I try my best to fight it, say I hate you but I always stay Woah, woah, woah cuz Ain’t nobody love, ain’t nobody love like you do Ain’t nobody love, ain’t nobody love like you-oo-oo-oo do Ain’t nobody love, ain’t nobody love like you do Ain’t nobody love, ain’t nobody love like you-oo-oo-oo do

7. Nothin' Like You by Dan + Shay
I'm OBSESSED with this song!  I honestly love their entire album.  Every single song is amazing!  They sing country/pop music and I highly recommend you check them out.  This song just reminds me of summer for some reason.  I listen to this song at least 5 times a day.  I can't say enough about them or this song!  Hopefully I can see them in concert someday.  Favorite lyric: Nothin' like you Shades on spinning in a summer rain Dancing when there ain't no music Just the right kind of crazy, baby Something about you Rockin' that rock 'n roll t-shirt Whole party dressed up But you just doin' your thing Ain't nobody ever seen nothin' like you

8. Like Mariah by Fifth Harmony feat. Tyga
I have been playing their new album all month.  I've been a fan since the beginning and I'm loving their sound.  Girl power all the way!  This song is my current favorite.  I'm a big Mariah Carey fan and they sample my all time favorite song by her.  What's not to love?  They sound amazing as usual.  I just hope they don't become too sexy because we need to be spreading positive girl power.  Favorite lyric: Love it when you call me baby When you lighting up my phone Makes me want you like I'm crazy I'm running home, I'm running home Just to hear your heartbeat So sweet like honeycomb I gotta have you near me Cause you're the best I've ever known

9. Photograph by Ed Sheeran
Another album I've been listening to a lot lately again is Ed Sheeran's.  I just love him.  This song is so romantic and sweet.  Most of his songs are quite romantic and slow.  I'm not usually into that type of music but his voice is perfection.  I've loved him for about 4 years now.  I love how he became mainstream but still hasn't changed.  I hate when artists do that.  He is great!  Favorite lyric: We keep this love in a photograph We make these memories for ourselves Where our eyes are never closing Our hearts were never broken And times forever frozen still So you can keep me Inside the pocket Of your ripped jeans Holdin' me closer Till our eyes meet You won't ever be alone Wait for me to come home

10. Listen To Your Heart by DHT
This is a HUGE throwback to my high school days.  I forgot all about this song but I've been hearing this everywhere lately!  I heard it on Glee, The Voice, and I think I even heard it on a commercial.  I think I blocked it from my memory because it was extremely over played back in the day.  Now I've fallen back in love with it.  Favorite lyric: Listen to your heart when he's calling for you Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do  I don't know where you're going and I don't know why, but listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye

DWTS Season 20: Are You Feeling Latin?

It's week 3!  It's going so fast already!  If you missed the last recap click here.  Tonight's theme is Latin night.  All the couple will be dancing to a Latin dance.  This gives everybody an even playing field.  This is always a fun night because things can get crazy!  The show kicked off with a big opening number.  It was AMAZING!!!  Tonight another couple will be eliminated.  Make sure you vote for your favorites so they don't go home too soon!  Who are you guys loving?  Let me know!

RUMER WILLIS AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Her challenge this week was getting used to the lifts.  This week she danced the Salsa.  I loved it!!!  It had a TON of personality which we haven't seen yet.  It showed her fun side instead of being so serious.  I loved disco element because it's so unique.  Plus it still had lots of actual Salsa moves in it still.  It was her best dance yet!  She still needs to loosen up a little more but I love her.  Her score was 33 of 40.

CHARLOTTE MCKINNEY AND KEO MOTSEPE:
She has a lot of trouble focusing because she checks her phone too much.  This week she danced the Rumba.  It was just okay.  It had SO much potential but it really fell short.  Her body is perfect for dance but she just doesn't concentrate.  Her feet need lots of work.  She needs to put her phone down and dance!  Her score was 22 of 40.

MICHAEL SAM AND PETA MURGATROYD:
He really needed to relax after his stressful week last week.  This week he danced the Salsa.  It was way too careful.  I wanted it to be loose and fun.  The lifts were great but they just didn't flow.  It all just was choppy.  He still needs to learn to tuck his butt in.  It just wasn't his best but I'm still a fan.  He'll redeem himself next week hopefully.  His score was 24 of 40.

RIKER LYNCH AND ALLISON HOLKER:
He struggled with the idea of being sexy.  This week he danced the Salsa.  I really liked it!  He has potential and a lot of flare.  His performance really draws you in.  He needs to work on his technique now because he has already showed the performer side.  I'd also like to see them dance together more.  He could be a contender.  His score was 34 of 40.

SUZANNE SOMERS AND TONY DOVOLANI:
She had a big confidence boost because of her scores last week.  This week she danced the Samba.  I didn't like it honestly.  It had lots of content and it was fun.  I just felt like it didn't really flow well.  There was a mess up and she just needs more work.  Also I want to see more emotion in her dances.  Her score was 25 of 40.

CHRIS SOULES AND WHITNEY CARSON:
He was really bummed that he screwed up so he's working extra hard.  This week he danced the Argentine Tango.  This is one of my favorite dance styles.  It had good and bad moments.  His turns were very choppy.  Also his footwork was a mess.  I did really like the passion they had.  The lifts were also fantastic.  He still needs work.  His score was 28 of 40.

ROBERT HERJAVEC AND KYM JOHNSON:
He had a lot of pain due to a past accident.  This week he danced the Rumba.  It was very beautiful.  They have amazing chemistry as a couple.  I felt like he needed to move more.  She sort of just danced around him.  His arms still need some work but I do hope he keeps improving.  I really do like him.  His score was 29 of 40.

PATTI LABELLE AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
She is all about being sexy.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  I didn't like it all.  It needed WAY more Cha Cha content.  She really needs to step it up because it's almost the middle of the competition.  I know she is a legend but that only goes so far.  I'm not sure she'll last much longer honestly.  Hopefully she gets serious.  Her score was 22 of 40.

WILLOW SHIELDS AND MARK BALLAS:
She injured her back but is pushing through the pain.  This week she danced the Paso Doble.  It was really good!  The Paso is all about passion and intensity.  I was totally impressed because she is only 14.  She doesn't need to worry about that anymore.  Age means nothing anymore.  She keeps improving each week and she's gonna go far.  Her score was 32 of 40.

NOAH GALLOWAY AND SHARNA BURGESS:
He was supposed to use a prosthetic arm for this performance.  This week he danced the Argentine Tango.  It was really strong!  I thought it would be hard to judge because there's no frame.  It was really good though!  I loved the lifts and their connection is strong.  There was a slight mistake but he can improve with more work.  His score was 30 of 40.

NASTIA LIUKIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
She practices with two different partners plus has an injured thumb.  This week she danced the Samba.  I loved it!  She just does AMAZING!  It had lots of really hard content but she pulled it off.  Her energy is so infectious as well.  She needs to work on her extensions but otherwise she is perfection.  Her score was 34 of 40.

Results:
Nastia, Noah, Willow, Patti, Robert, Suzanne, Michael, Chris, Rumer, and Riker are safe.  Charlotte was eliminated.

DWTS Season 20: #MyJamMonday

It's week 2!!!  If you want to check out last week's recap click here.  I have discovered some favorites and I'm excited to see what happen tonight.  The theme this week is My Jam Monday.  The celebrities will dance to their favorite jam.  Tonight the first couple will be eliminated.  Another couple will be eliminated next Monday.  Make sure you vote so your favorites don't go home.  What is your jam?  Also who is your favorite couple?  Let me know!

CHRIS SOULES AND WHITNEY CARSON:
His jam is Time Of My Life by Pitbull.  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  It was not as good as last week.  It was very messy and jerky.  The timing was off as well.  He needed to really focus or he needed more basic choreography.  He really needs to step it up if he wants to stay.  His score was 21 of 40.

SUZANNE SOMERS AND TONY DOVOLANI:
Her jam is Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On by Jerry Lee Lewis.  This week she danced the Jive.  I was very impressed!  It was a HUGE improvement already.  She really took the judges advice.  It was great and I'm glad she did made a huge difference in just 4 days.  Her score was 28 of 40.

ROBERT HERJAVEC AND KYM JOHNSON:
His jam is You Make Me Feel So Young by Michael Bublé.  This week he danced the Foxtrot.  He is one of my favorite guys so far.  This was so cute and elegant,  His fame was really strong as well.  He is just such a natural!  I think he will go a long way in the competition.  His score was 28 of 40.

CHARLOTTE MCKINNEY AND KEO MOTSEPE:
Her jam is California Gurls by Katy Perry.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  It was a BIG improvement.  It was a lot of fun and full of sass.  She needs to work on her feet but her confidence was up 110%.  It was very enjoyable.  Her score was 26 of 40.

MICHAEL SAM AND PETA MURGATROYD:
His jam is Working My Way Back To You by The Four Seasons.  This week he danced the Foxtrot.  He needs some work still.  His footwork was A LOT better!  He needs to tuck his bum in more because it really sticks out.  He was more comfortable which definitely showed.  His score was 28 of 40.

RUMER WILLIS AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Her jam is Rumour Has It by Adele.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  I LOVE her!!!  She could totally win this whole thing!  She does need to relax more but she is just so sharp.  I do wish it had more actual Cha Cha moves but it was still hot!  She can dance!  Her score was 32 of 40.

REDFOO AND EMMA SLATER:
His jam is My Sharona by The Knack.  This week he danced the Jive.  It was a ton better.  I still didn't really love it.  It was high energy and fun.  I felt like it was still all over the place.  He really needs to tame it down and pull it together.  You can still have fun without being crazy.  His score was 31 of 40

WILLOW SHIELDS AND MARK BALLAS:
Her jam is Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye.  This week she danced the Argentine Tango.  It's hard to believe she is only 14!  She dances so maturely.  I loved the lifts and her lines were incredible.  There were a few mistakes but she is a true contender now.  Big leaps from last week.  Her score was 32 of 40.

NOAH GALLOWAY AND SHARNA BURGESS:
His jam is Homegrown Honey by Darius Rucker.  This week he danced the Samba.  He has great musicality is amazing.  He does so well considering his situation.  He knows his body so well which actually gives him an advantage.  I like him a lot.  His score was 27 of 40.

NASTIA LIUKIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
Her jam is Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran.  This week she danced the Rumba.  She is my favorite girl so far.  She did this dance flawlessly.  It was just so beautiful and romantic.  She can do no wrong.  I love EVERYTHING about her!  I wish it never ended.  Her score was 34 of 40.

RIKER LYNCH AND ALLISON HOLKER:
His jam is Sugar by Maroon 5.  This week he danced the Foxtrot.  OMG I really liked him!  He looked completely different and I'm a fan.  He needs to keep going on this track.  He's my new crush,  He could improve his hold but I want more!  Ballroom might be his thing.  His score was 32 of 40.

PATTI LABELLE AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
Her jam is In Da Club by 50 Cent.  This week she danced the Salsa.  I didn't love it unfortunately.  She was injured but she barely danced.  I wanted more Salsa!  She didn't move enough and it was too sexy.  I'm not a fan tonight.  Her score was 28 of 40.

Results:
Willow, Nastia, Riker, Patti, Noah, Rumer, Chris, Michael, Charlotte, Robert, and Suzanne are safe.  Redfoo is eliminated.

DWTS Season 20: It Begins Now!!!!

I'm SO excited!!!!!  Dancing With The Stars is back!  Make sure you follow this blog for recaps of every episode.  It's the 10th anniversary so it should be a good season.  If you read my cast reveal you'll know that I'm not that excited about the cast.  Maybe my mind will change tonight.  The judges and hosts are all the same,  This years mirror ball trophy is gold which is a change.  The show kicked off with a big dance number.  It was pretty good!  Somebody will be eliminated next Monday.  Make sure you vote to save your favorites!  Tell me your thoughts and who your favorites are!  See you next week!!!!!

WILLOW SHIELDS AND MARK BALLAS:
She is best known as Prim Rose Everdeen from the Hunger Games.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  To be honest I wanted more.  She is only 14 so it's hard to be sexy but I wanted it to be more fun.  It was a great first dance but hopefully she'll improve.  Her score was 25 of 40.

ROBERT HERJAVEC AND KYM JOHNSON:
He is best known for being on Shark Tank.  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  I really like him!  I did not expect him to be THAT good!  I smiled the whole dance.  It was just SO fun!!!!!  His technique is very good already.  I love him!  His score was 28 of 40.

RIKER LYNCH AND ALLISON HOLKER:
He is from the band R5 but he is also related to Julianne and Derek Hough.  This week he danced the Jive.  Obviously he was good because of who he's related to.  It was SO fun and full of energy!  I could see myself loving him in the future.  I really did enjoy him but he needs small tweaking.  His score was 31 of 40.

CHARLOTTE MCKINNEY AND KEO MOTSEPE:
She is best known for her Super Bowl commercial controversy.  This week she danced Jive.  She was a hot mess!  She messed up quite a bit of steps.  Her energy never went down even when she did mess up.  I wanted more Jive content as well.  Her score was 22 of 40.

PATTI LABELLE AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
She is best known for being a Grammy award winning singer.  This week she danced the Foxtrot.  She actually wasn't too bad!  She is legend but I thought her dancing would be awful.  It just seemed very natural and graceful.  Of course improvements could be made but so far so good.  Her score was 25 of 40.

CHRIS SOULES AND WHITNEY CARSON:
He is best known for being the most current Bachelor.  This week he danced the Jive.  It wasn't disaster!  He has a lot of potential and I think with with more work he could maybe win.  He is just full of charisma and SO fun!  I really like him!  His score was 26 of 40.

MICHAEL SAM AND PETA MURGATROYD:
He is best known for being the first openly gay football player to be drafted to the NFL.  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  I loved him!  He needs some fixing but his personality is very infectious!  I wanted it to never end!  His footwork was rough but who cares.  I can't wait to him improve.  His score was 26 of 40.

NASTIA LIUKIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
She is best known for being an Olympic gymnast.  This week she danced the Foxtrot.  She is my favorite so far!  I've always been a fan of her though so I'm glad she's on the show.  She needs to work on a few things but I think she'll win the whole thing!  It was just AMAZING!!!  Her score was 30 of 40.

REDFOO AND EMMA SLATER:
He is best known for being part of LMFAO.  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  Well it was definitely entertaining.  I'm not sure I would call it a Cha Cha.  It needed more content.  It was just all over the place.  I'm not really sure I'm a big fan right now.  His score was 22 of 40.

NOAH GALLOWAY AND SHARNA BURGESS:
He is best known for being an amputee veteran.  He is missing his left arm and leg in battle.  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  It was a little emotional.  He has a lot of challenges to overcome.  I think with hard work he could really go far.  He's an inspiration.  His score was 26 of 40.

SUZANNE SOMERS AND TONY DOVOLANI:
She is best known as Chrissy from Three's Company.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  It was very awkward.  She was all over the place.  It was too safe for the first week.  She needed to bust out there!  I really wanted more Cha Cha content.  She needs to keep working a lot.  Her score was 25 of 40.

RUMER WILLIS AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
She is best known as being the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.  This week she danced the Foxtrot.  I was extremely impressed!  It has passion and intense.  She is going to make it very far!  This was the best dance of the night!!!!  She is the one to beat!  I want more!!!!!  Her score was 32 of 40.

Life Update: Mouth Problems

Hey guys!  I've decided to try out a new type of posts.  I love reading life updates on other peoples blogs so I decided to give it a try.  If you want more of these types of posts then let me know.

I don't even know where to begin!  So, back around Christmas I had terrible pain on the right side of my face.  I honestly thought I had the mumps or measles but I've been vaccinated.  Then on New Years Eve my mouth just randomly started bleeding!  So I called my dentist and he thought it was probably just my wisdom teeth.  I have seen WAY to many wisdom tooth videos so I was slightly freaking out.  I told him I was having pain but the earliest I could get in was February 13.  A whole month away!

Well I went to my appointment and it was a fail.  It was not my wisdom teeth at all!  He saw that I needed two teeth pulled but didn't actually pull them.  Makes sense right?  So a few days later the pain returned obviously.  So I went back to his office and he referred me to a oral surgeon.  He also put me on an antibiotic and pain meds.

I went to the oral surgeon with pretty high hopes.  I thought for sure within a few days he would pull them.  WRONG!  The next available appointment isn't until the 27 of this month.  So basically I'm in a lot of pain and have to take a lot of meds.  I'll try to keep posting regularly but I mostly sleep.  I'm gonna try my hardest though!

Weekly Obsession!

It's back!  I haven't done a weekly obsession in forever!  I will now be doing them every Wednesday so be on the look out.  My obsession is.....Girl Scout Cookies!!!!

I wait all year for them and it's always worth it.  I typically order WAY too many boxes so this year I limited myself.  I only ordered two boxes which is surprising.  I ordered the Peanut Butter Patties and Samoas.  These are my favorite!  I also limit myself to two cookies a day.  I'm proud of myself!  Trust me it is a real struggle but I'm sticking to it.  Do you guys eat Girl Scout Cookies?  What are your favorites?  Let me know!
