♥March Favorites♥

Happy Easter everybody!!  I've been waiting all month for this post!  I have many things to share.  March went by super fast.  It was also very busy this month.  I had concerts, fundraisers, and just a bunch of other stuff but it was all fun.  Make sure to tell me your favorites too!

Music:

The first song is Say Somethin by Austin Mahone.  You guys why have I never heard of him before?  He's AMAZING!  I hope he has an album out soon.  I also love his song Just A Friend.  If you are a fan of Bieber then you'll love him.

The next song is I Love It by Icona Pop.  I'm OBSESSED with this song!  I first heard this song while at the Taylor Swift concert.  We heard this song and immediately looked it up.  I've been hooked ever since.

The last song is Mirrors by Justin Timberlake.  I love the entire album.  I just can't stop playing this song!  The video is so good too!  You might even cry watching it because I almost did.  I just love him.

TV Show:

I'm so glad Fashion Star is back!  I've loved this show since last year and so it's even better this year.  Fashion Star features up and coming designers trying to get their clothes sold in major stores.  Each week has a new theme and the buyers decide what gets sold.  The three buyers are Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Express.  The best part is the next day you can actually buy the clothes from the show at those stores.  I haven't yet but I want to.

Movie:

I have no words for this movie.  It is so amazing.  I only knew a little bit about the movie before I watched it.  I was crying by the end.  It is very emotional.  The entire movie is singing so if you don't like musical this isn't for you.  I highly recommend this if you enjoy musicals though.

Food:

I was obsessed with these Fish McBites from McDonalds this month!  I'm so sad these are only out for limited time.  I usually got the regular size.  It's just the perfect amount.  There aren't too fishy either which I like.  Go try them!

Random:
This month I couldn't stop checking my horoscope.  I usually don't.  I'm the Cancer sign.  It's really fun to read unless it isn't a good one.

Scent:
This is month I wore Fantasy by Britney spears everywhere!  This is my all time favorite perfume.  I've been using this for years.  It is a very sweet scent.  It reminds me of cupcakes.  I wear this day or night.  I just love her perfumes.

YouTuber:
I'm in love with Tyler Oakley!  His videos are very entertaining and so funny.  I wish we were BFF's for real.  He actually responded to my comment on his video this month which made me so happy!  Go check out his channel!  He usually posts a video every Friday.

Game:

I am a Sims 3 fanatic!  I was so excited when Sims 3 University Life came out this month.  I can't stop playing though!  It is such an addicting game.  If you love Sims 3 then you will love this game.

Nail Polish:

This is my favorite Spring nail polish.  It is called My Lifesaver.  It's from the Justin Bieber line.  The minute March comes I wear it.  It is the perfect mint color.  I like that it isn't too bright.

Quote:

This quote is perfect for this month.  I bought tons of music and explored new songs.  I listen to music every single day.  There is always a song to describe how you are feeling in that moment.  No matter what emotion you are feeling, music will always help.

Moment:
I had so many great moments this month.  My favorite was going to Maroon 5.  I'm in love with Adam Levine.  Being that close to him was literally a dream.  It was amazing!

DWTS Season 16: First Elimination?

The show started with a pro dance which I loved.  The first celebrities safe are Ingo, Sean, and Wynonna.  The first celebrity in danger is Victor.  Last night it was up to America to choose the encore dance.  America chose Zendaya's Jive.  I approve of this choice.  It was one of my favorites last night and was even better tonight.  Ali and DL are safe.  Lisa is in danger.  I'm honestly shocked.  I thought DL was going home for sure.  Next up Icona Pop performed I Love It.  I'm IN LOVE with this song and I loved their performance.  It had neon colors, glow sticks, and awesome costumes.  The new professional dancers were introduced.  I'm loving the new pros so far.  Zendaya, Kellie, and Jacoby are safe.  Josh Grobin performed his new song Brave.  I'm not a fan but he did good.  Dorothy is safe.  Andy is in danger.  Dorothy had to drop out due to injury so nobody had to be eliminated.  I felt bad for her because she had potential.

Come back next Monday for more!  The theme will be Prom Night.

DWTS Season 16: Who Is In Danger?

It's only Week 2 of Season 16 and I'm very impressed.  New dance styles happened again.  Since nobody went home last week, last weeks scores are combined with tonight's.  You can pick tomorrow nights encore dance by using Twitter.  Just tweet #EncoreNAME but replace name with the name of the celebrity.  This is the first time this has happened.  Next weeks theme is Prom Night!  I'm excited for that.

Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson:
Last week he danced Contemporary and got a 20.  This week he danced the Quickstep.  He did a pretty good job.  This is a hard dance to do.  His posture was really good.  His score was 20 out of 30.  This makes his total 40 out of 60.

Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus:
Last week she danced Contemporary and got a 21.  This week she danced the Jive.  This one of my favorite dance styles.  I wanted her to do good but she was injured.  There were many mistakes.  Her score was 15 out of 30.  This makes her total 36 out of 60.

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff:
Last week he danced the Cha Cha and got a 20.  This week he danced Jazz.  This is a new style this year.  It was very good.  I really enjoyed it.  It was a great dance for him.  His score was 23 out of 30.  This makes his total 43 out of 60.

Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold:
Last week he danced the Foxtrot and got a 18.  This week he danced Jazz.  It was very entertaining.  There were a few mistakes but still good.  Jazz might become a favorite of mine.  His score was 18 out of 30.  This makes his total 36 out of 60.

Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani:
Last week she danced the Cha Cha and got an 18.  This week she danced the Quickstep.  It started off good but it wasn't fast enough.  She is playing it too safe which will get her eliminated.  Her score was 18 out of 30.  This makes her total 36 out of 60.

Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy:
Last week she danced Contemporary and got a 24.  This week she danced the Jive.  She is the one to beat by far!  She surprises me every time.  I'm very impressed.  Her score was 26 out of 30.  This makes her total 50 out of 60.

Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess:
Last week he danced the Foxtrot and got a 17.  This week he danced Jazz.  I loved it!  It was by far my favorite Jazz of the night!  It was really funny and entertaining.  He isn't the greatest dancer but I like him.  His score was 20 out of 30.  This makes his total 37 out of 60.

Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd:
Last week he danced the Foxtrot and got a 19.  This week he danced the Jive.  He was much better than last week.  It wasn't enough Jive though.  I did really like it though.  His score was 20 out of 30.  This makes his total 39 out of 60.

Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas:
Last week she danced the Cha Cha and got a 21.  This week she danced the Quickstep.  She is my favorite!  She was more outgoing this week.  It was such a fun dance.  Her score was 24 out of 30.  This makes her total 45 out of 60.

Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko:
Last week she danced the Foxtrot and got a 18.  This week she danced the Jive.  She definitely pushed herself more this week.  It didn't have enough Jive moves for me.  It wasn't horrible though.  Her score was 18 out of 30.  This makes her total 36 out of 60.

D.L. Hughley and Cheryl Burke:
Last week he danced the Cha Cha and got a 12.  This week he danced the Quickstep.  It was a HUGE improvement.  It wasn't perfect but he tried hard.  I think he is still in danger though.  His score was 16 out of 30.  This makes his total 28 out of 30.

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough:
Last week she danced the Cha Cha and got a 21.  This week she danced Jazz.  BEST DANCE OF THE NIGHT!!!!!!!  It was amazing and very modern.  Her score was 26 out of 30.  This makes her total 47 out of 60.

Tomorrow one couple goes home.  I think it will be DL Hughley.  Check back tomorrow to see who will be eliminated first.

Music Friday: Gold

Happy Friday!  I'm on spring break this week so I'm sad it's the weekend but it will still be fun.  Tonight I'm actually going to Disney On Ice with all of my family.  Let me know your weekend plans.  Today's share is a song I randomly on iTunes.  It is Gold by Britt Nicole.  I love this song!  She is actually a Christian singer.  The message of the song is so important.  It's all about being you and not letting anybody bring you down.  It's very inspiring.  Have a great weekend!!!!

The 20/20 Experience Review

It finally arrived!  I've been waiting a long time for this moment.  On Tuesday Justin Timberlake released his much anticipated 3rd album.  I was beyond excited!  I've been a fan since I was 7 years old and I still love him just as much.  Today I'm going to review the album.  The first thing I noticed that it is much different from is older albums.  I really like it a lot!  It's different then what you hear on the radio which I find refreshing.  I was definitely impressed with the album.  Most of the songs are about love which is a good thing.  Everybody loves a good love song.  They aren't all slow songs either.  I love how he makes a love song upbeat because most don't.  If you buy the album at Target, which I did, you get two extra songs.  I love every song but my favorites are Strawberry Bubblegum and Mirrors.  If you haven't seen the music video for Mirrors yet go check it out!  Prepare to cry though!  Let me know what you think of the album and what your favorite songs are.

  1. Pusher Love Girl
  2. Suit & Tie feat. Jay-Z
  3. Don't Hold The Wall
  4. Strawberry Bubblegum
  5. Tunnel Vision
  6. Spaceship Coupe
  7. That Girl
  8. Let The Groove Get In
  9. Mirrors
  10. Blue Ocean Floor
  11. Dress On (Target Only)
  12. Body Count (Target Only)

I'm A 90's Kid!!!

The 90's were so much fun!  Life was so much more simple back then.  This year I turn 24 so this is a look back at my childhood.  I grew up during the 90's so I thought it would be fun to this tag.  I can't believe how much stuff has changed since then.  I want all of you guys to answer too!  Tell me your answers in the comments!

1. Favorite Disney channel original movie?

Every month Disney Channel would have a new movie come out. I watched pretty much every one but I was obsessed with Motocrossed.  You might be surprised by this but my cousin was a motocross racer so we loved this movie.  Motocrossed is about a girl who loves racing but her dad says it's too dangerous.  When her twin brother gets hurt before competition she takes his place.  You know typical Disney.

2. Favorite music artist?

Music was so much better in the 90's!  I loved a bunch of people but I was obsessed with Spice Girls.  I had posters, dolls, the movie, and even the candy!  If they were on it I begged my mom for it!  I loved Baby Spice most.

3. Favorite Nick Jr. show?

I loved Nick Jr.!  Whenever I stayed home sick from school I'd watch it all day.  I really like Little Bear a lot but my favorite was Franklin.  I loved the books too.  Plus I'm obsessed with turtles.

4. Favorite candy?

The Wonder Ball!  I have no idea why we all went crazy over these but I did.  We would BEG my mom for these all the time!  Basically its a hallow ball of milk chocolate with sweet tart candy inside.  The best part though was the prize.  You either got a tattoo or sticker which is pretty cool.  I honestly miss these!

5. Favorite game? (board game, school game, etc.)

We played so many board games growing up.  I loved Trouble, Guess Who?, and Sorry!.  I really loved Life though.  Our whole family would play together which was fun.  A game I'd play all the time with my sister was called Boxes.  We had notebooks full of this.  Click Here to see how to play.

6. Favorite McDonald's Happy Meal toy?

During the 90's McDonald's handed out happy meals in boxes except for Halloween time.  The happy meals came these pails so then you could take it trick or treating.  Of course I had to have this.  It's not technically a toy but still awesome.

7. Favorite book?

I loved these books so much!  I loved to read so I've probably read every book in the series.  Another series I loved was The Boxcar Children.

8. Favorite clothing store?

I didn't really have a favorite store.  We shopped a lot at JcPenny because my mom worked there.  I wore lots of dresses though.  I didn't have a sense of style then.

9. What would you watch when you'd get home from school?

I loved ZOOM!  Every day I'd come home and watch.  My sister hated it.  It was a show that had games, recipes, jokes, and challenges.  It was all sent in by kids too.

10. Favorite TV Show?

Full House is my all time favorite show ever!  It's so funny and I loved Mary Kate and Ashley.  I still watch re-runs.  I wish more shows today were like it.

11. Favorite Toys?

I was OBSESSED with Polly Pockets!!!  I would do anything to get one.  I'd spend hours playing with them.  Today's Polly Pockets are not near as cool.  I still have all of mine that I had as a kid.

12. Favorite Commercials?

The Wonder Ball commercial was the best.  It is so catchy and totally makes you want to buy it.  It is now stuck in my head.

13. *NSYNC or Backstreet Boys?

I honest loved both but I liked Backstreet Boys more.  I had every CD, concert tapes, posters, and action figures.  This picture was on my 9th birthday cake.  I still love them!

14. Weirdest fashion trend?

Everybody in the 90's wore these choker necklaces.  I just didn't get it.  They were really tight and just weird.  Many people I knew wore them but I didn't.

15. Favorite collectibles?

My sister and were obsessed with Beadie Buddies.  We'd spend hours making them together.  Every time a new one came out we had to have it.  Some were super hard though.  My favorite was the dolphin.

16. Favorite Beanie Baby?
I wasn't really into the whole beanie baby trend.  I had a few but not many.  I did love Smoochy the frog though.

17. How many Tamagotchi's did you go through?

I think I only had one but I had tons of giga pets and nano babies.  They were SO addictive!  I hooked them all to my backpack and would always get in trouble by my teacher for playing with them.  My favorite was the Koala.

18. Favorite game system and game?

We had a Nintendo and a Super Nintendo.  I played the Super Nintendo more.  My favorite game was Donkey Kong.  I'd get so mad because I could never win!

DWTS Season 16: And It Begins...

It's that time again!  Dancing With The Stars is back!!!  I will be blogging every episode.  I am super excited for this season.  I am team Aly and Kellie for sure but a few other have surprised me so far.  There will be new dance styles this season and I'm loving the new pros so far.  There will be no elimination this week.

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough:
This was the first dance of the night.  She danced the Cha Cha.  I was already rooting for her because I love Derek.  She can actually dance though!  I was impressed.  Her score was 21 out of 30.

Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold:
He is dancing with one of the new professionals.  She is actually from last season of So You Think You Can Dance and I loved her.  He danced the Foxtrot.  For a boxer he did really good.  He has potential for sure.  his score was 18 out of 30.

Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson:
He got one of the new dance styles this season.  He danced Contemporary.  I love this dance style.  It was good but not my favorite.  There were too many lifts for my liking.  His score was 20 out of 30.

Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko:
She also got one of the new professionals.  She danced the Foxtrot.  She is my all time favorite housewife so I had high hopes.  It wasn't terrible but she had some stumbles.  Her score was 18 out of 30.

D.L. Hughley and Cheryl Burke:
I didn't really know what to expect from him.  He danced the Cha Cha.  All I can say is he needs major work.  He should be glad nobody is going home this week.  His score was 12 out of 30.

Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy:
She is the youngest star ever on the show.  She danced Contemporary.  It was REALLY good.  For the first week I was very impressed.  Her score was 24 out of 30.

Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd:
He wants to learn to dance for his wedding.  He danced the Foxtrot.  He was actually not that bad.  It was a little rough but I enjoyed it.  His score was 19 out of 30.

Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas:
She is one of the Fab Five.  She danced the Cha Cha.  She was AMAZING.  She is definitely the one to beat.  Plus she danced to One Direction.  Her score was 21 out of 30.

Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus:
She is an Olympic icon.  She danced Contemporary.  I knew she'd be good because most figure skaters are.  I really enjoyed it.  It was appropriate for her age too.  Her score was 21 out of 30.

Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani:
I was very interested in how she'd do.  She danced the Cha Cha.  It was pretty good.  I wanted it to be more fierce like the Cha Cha usually is.  She needs to just go for it.  Her score was 18 out of 30.

Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess:
He also has a new professionals.  He danced the Foxtrot.  I thought he would be a total wreak.  I was honestly surprised how good he was.  He wasn't perfect but I enjoyed him a lot.  His score was 17 out of 30.

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff:
He is the current Super Bowl champion.  He danced the Cha Cha.  I thought he was very good.  Football players usually are.  His score was 20 out of 30.

Come back next Monday for more!  Also if you want me to recap any other shows then let me know.

Fashion For Less: Dress Like Taylor Swift

Hey guys!  I've decided to start a new series here on the blog.  It's called Fashion For Less.  Basically I show you how to dress like your favorite celebrities without spending a lot of money.  Today I'm starting with Taylor Swift.  Taylor Swift is my biggest idol.  I love her music, her fashion, and pretty much everything about her.  This week I saw her live on opening night of the Red Tour!  The same day her music video for 22 came out.  I loved the fashion from both.  I'm going show you a spring outfit similar to the picture below.  I hope you enjoy!  Let me which celebrity you want dress like next.

Any kind of high waisted shorts will work.  I chose these sequin high waist shorts from Delia's.  They were only $24.50.

Taylor wears a lot of lace.  If you don't like lace, just go for a nude colored top.  I chose a lace hi-lo hem tee from Express.  It cost's $39.90.

You rarely see Taylor wearing heels.  She is the newest Keds spokesperson.  They can be kind of pricey.  So I chose these Womens Mossimo Supply Co. Lunea Oxford shoes from Target.  They were only $14.99.

You never see her wearing much jewelry.  I chose a floppy hat to complete this look.  It is the Merona Floppy Hat With Rope Band - Red from Target.  It was $14.99.

Music Friday: 22

Happy Friday!  It's been a very busy week.  Today's share is one of my favorite songs ever!  It is 22 by Taylor Swift.  I relate to this song so much.  It is all about being at this point in your life where you don't really know what to do.  You are an adult now but still confused with life.  I LOVE the video and wish Taylor Swift was my BFF!  Enjoy!!!!!

Opening Night Of Taylor Swift's Red Tour!

Last night Taylor Swift kicked off her Red Tour here in Omaha, Nebraska!!  I've been a fan since the very beginning and I've seen her about 5 or 6 times.  Taylor always plays here because she performed her very first big show in Omaha.  She had opened up for Rascal Flatts and I was there!!!!  That's just a little fun fact.  I bought my tickets for the Red Tour awhile back and they sold out extremely fast.  I was so excited!  Ed Sheeran is the opening act this tour!  I'm in love with him!!!  Just being in the same room as him was an experience I'll never forget.  He still sounded AMAZING even though he had the flu.  He actually fell on stage and I caught it on video.  I felt bad.  My only issue was he didn't play long enough.  I was sad he didn't sing U.N.I or Kiss Me though.  Then it was Taylor Swift's turn!  I love this tour!  The theme was old hollywood/50's.  She blows my mind every single time.  She is an amazing performer and I wish she was my best friend.  She sang mostly songs off of Red but sang her classics too.  She had a main stage plus a back stage which was nice because our seats weren't the best.  She always thinks of everybody.  I hope I meet her some day.  Overall it was an EPIC show and my favorite tour so far!  Check out some of the pictures and video I took below.

Pretty Little Liars TAG!

Hey guys!  I am OBSESSED with the show Pretty Little Liars!!!  I never miss an episode!  I saw this tag on YouTube and knew I had to do it.  I have so many theories and thoughts to share.  I want to know what you guys are thinking too!  We can have our own discussion.  Also if you aren't caught up be aware there may be some spoilers.

1. Which girl's style do you love the most? Which girl do you relate to the most?
I love Aria's style!  It is so bold and completely different than my style.  My style is probably most like Hanna's.  I tend to wear more girly stuff like her.  I definitely wish I could pull off Aria's though.

2. Why do the girls keep seeing Alison? Do you think there's something more behind it?
I honestly think she is alive.  I think she wants the girls to do all the work for her so that she seems dead.  Or it could be her twin.  Or maybe it's all been a dream this whole time.  There are so many possibilities!!!

3. Who's your crush on the show? ;)
Ezra!  He is so cute and totally my type.  I wish my high school teacher's were that cute.

4. Who is your least favorite character? (Out of the 4 girls and overall)
Out of the girls my least favorite is Emily.  I just don't like her story line.  She always puts herself in situations that she doesn't need to.  Like dating Mya's "cousin", you could tell right away he was a liar.  Overall my least favorite is Melissa.  She is so fishy and shady.  I don't trust her at all.

5. What was the biggest shocking moment for you?
Finding out Toby was A.  When he turned around my jaw dropped open.  I couldn't believe it!!  I felt bad immediately for Spencer though.

6. Do you think Toby is really dead?
No.  All we saw were tattoos but no face.  I don't think they'd get rid of him that easily.

7. What would you do if A was after YOU?!
I would FREAK out!!!  I'd probably never leave my house.  I've always wanted to be a spy so maybe I'd be like Spencer and figure clues out.

8. Who is your favorite character?
I love Hanna.  She is just so funny and sarcastic.  She reminds me so much of myself.

9. Who you think is behind The A Team?
I've always thought CeCe was part of it but now I'm not sure.  Mona is clearly in charge though.  I don't trust Paige either.

10. Who do you ship?
I really like Ezra and Aria together.  They are just so cute together.  My favorite couple though is Hanna and Caleb.  He really loves her.

11. Most memorable cheesy/stupid moment in the show?
This entire show is cheesy!  The most memorable part for me happened on the latest Halloween episode.  First of all I'd never get on a train costume party when a killer is after me!  You are just setting yourself up!

12. Favorite villain?
Mona!  She is so convincing and you never know what is actually true.

13. Who do you predict will or might become a villain?
Melissa knows something for sure!  She can't be trusted.

14. Which girl do you think has been hurt the most by A?
Spencer most definitely.  I mean her boyfriend worked for A!  It doesn't get much worse.

My Maroon 5 Concert Experience

A week ago, I was front row at Maroon 5!!!!!!!  I can't even believe it's been a week already!  The show happened in Omaha, Nebraska.  I've been a fan for years now so I was so excited when I found out they were coming here.  I bought my tickets clear back in October and I'm glad I did because it was a sold out show.  I got to the show super early so I could by shirts.  Shirts were $35-$40 which I didn't think was bad. With my shirt purchase I got a free CD by Rozzi Crane.  I'm not sure who that is but she sounds pretty good.  I also got a free sample of Adam Levine's perfume.  After waiting forever for the doors to open, we finally got to our seats.  We sat front row on the right side of the stage.  While waiting for the concert to start we noticed a guy on stage with his cell phone taking pictures.  His hair was all messy and he wore baggy sweatpants and a hoodie.  It was freaking Adam Levine!!!!!  He came right in front of us and did a dance then jumped up and ran backstage.  My advice is get to the show early and maybe you'll see Adam.  Owl City performed first.  I've seen them live before and I was disappointed they didn't sing more older songs.  Neon Tree's was up next.  I really liked them!  They were very good.  Finally it was time for Maroon 5.  They were AMAZING!!!!  It was honestly one of the best concerts I've been to in awhile.  They did a perfect mixture of new and old songs.  I'm used to concerts with costume changes and stuff which they didn't do.  I would definitely recommend seeing them live.  Check out some pictures I took below!
