My October Playlist!

Happy Halloween everybody!!!!  I'm so glad it is on a Friday this year because let's be honest nobody likes getting up early after being up late.  How are you celebrating?  I'm taking my nieces trick or treating later on.  I always enjoy going with them even though they are usually scared by third house.  It's just a really fun experience.  I'm VERY excited about this months playlist.  I've literally listened to these songs nonstop.  If you want check out last months playlist click here.  Do you have any recommendations?  Let me know!

1. Steal My Girl by One Direction
Most of you are probably not surprised by this.  I just can't get enough!  This song is from their new album and I have to say I love it!  It sounds like their older albums but still a mature vibe.  I'm totally ready for this album!  I like the growth each album has.  The video is completely different but somehow I can't stop watching.  They will be back touring in America next Summer and I'll be attending the Kansas City show.  Favorite lyric: I don't exist If I don't have her The sun doesn't shine, The world doesn't turn, Alright (alright)

2. All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor
I know I'm late to the game.  I was always so annoyed by this song but it has finally grown on me.  Originally I thought it wasn't even really a song.  I've always loved the message it portrays.  We are all beautiful no matter what size we are.  More artists should be singing songs like this.  I haven't listened to any other songs by her so we'll see if she sticks around.  Favorite lyric: Yeah, it's pretty clear, I ain't no size two But I can shake it, shake it Like I'm supposed to do 'Cause I got that boom boom that all the boys chase And all the right junk in all the right places

3. Girls by The 1975
I first heard this song on the Top 40 radio show.  The second I heard it I knew it was them.  I love just how unique their sound is.  I've been meaning to buy their album but I just keep forgetting.  I can't get enough of this song!  It's a little bit pop but not typical pop music.  It's just SO catchy!  I will be buying this album for sure.  Favorite lyric: They're just girls breaking hearts Eyes bright, uptight, just girls But she can't be what you need if she's 17 They're just girls They're just girls

4. Try by Colbie Caillat
This is the first song in awhile that has made me cry.  I had heard of this song but I never listened to it.  Then I saw this on Dancing With The Stars and I loved it.  I love the message SO much!  You can be beautiful no matter what.  Beauty is not just whats on the outside.  The video is beautiful also.  I just love everything about this song.  Favorite lyric: Put your make up on Get your nails done Curl your hair Run the extra mile Keep it slim So they like you. Do they like you? Get your sexy on
Don't be shy, girl Take it off This is what you want, to belong So they like you. Do you like you?

5. Animals by Maroon 5
I wasn't lying when I said I have had this album on repeat.  My younger sister and I are literally obsessed.  This video is SUPER creepy but also perfection.  Let's be real if Adam Levine was stalking me I would not mind at all.  Also Adam Levine looks very sexy in glasses.  He should wear them more often.  Go buy this album!  Trust me you'll love it.  Favorite lyric: Yeah, you can start over, you can run free You can find other fish in the sea You can pretend it's meant to be But you can't stay away from me I can still hear you making that sound Taking me down, rolling on the ground You can pretend that it was me But no

6. I Want Candy by Aaron Carter
If you follow my blog you probably aren't surprised by this choice.  I actually got to meet Aaron Carter this month which you can read about here.  He was like the Justin Bieber of my childhood.  It was just SO much fun.  His new music is sounding amazing as well.  Go check him out if you have never heard his music.  Favorite lyric: Candy on the beach, there's nothing better But I like candy when it's wrapped in a sweater Some day soon I'll make you mine Then I'll have candy all the time

7. In Your Arms by Nico & Vinz
When I first heard this song I had no clue who sang it.  I was trying to go to sleep but I couldn't stop wondering who sang it.  When I looked it up I was so shocked because it sounds completely different from their last song.  It's a great song though.  I like listening to it while I'm getting ready in the morning.  It's just a really nice song.  I really like how diverse they are.  I have only heard two songs by them but so far I'm impressed.  Favorite lyric: Sometimes I feel like I can't run, I can't crawl And sometimes I feel like I ain't nothing at all Life is a journey where you stumble and fall But I'm okay When I lie down in your arms

8. Rather Be by Clean Bandit
I've actually liked this song for awhile but I kept forgetting to put it on my list.  It's extremely catchy which I love.  The beat is my favorite part.  It has a slight techno feel but also an 80's feel.  I've seen a ton of covers on YouTube but I feel like this song is too unique to cover.  I just haven't liked any of them.  Favorite lyric: If you gave me a chance I would take it It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't shake me When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be

9. American Dream by MKTO
I love this band!  I bought their album months ago and I still play it all the time.  This has always been one of my favorite songs.  They sound amazing!  I love how they rap and still sing at the same time.  It really makes them stand out from other pop music that is out.  I wish they played on the radio more often though.  Favorite lyric: This ain’t the same summer song that you used to know ‘Cause Jack left Diane thirty years ago The world is spinning too fast for you and me So tell me whatever happened to the American Dream

10. Out Of The Woods by Taylor Swift
I'm loving the new album!  I'll have a album review up on here tomorrow.  I've had this song in my head since I heard it.  It is supposedly about Harry Styles which to be honest I was hoping for.  I will randomly just start singing this song.  I just love her SO much!  Favorite lyric: Remember when you hit the brakes too soon? Twenty stitches in the hospital room When you started cryin', baby, I did, too
But when the sun came up, I was lookin' at you Remember when we couldn't take the heat I walked out and said, "I'm settin' you free," But the monsters turned out to be just trees And when the sun came up, you were lookin' at me

DWTS Season 19: Team Creepy vs. Team Itsy Bitsy

It's week 7!  Tonight is Halloween themed which I'm very excited about.  All the original judges will are back.  I'm glad because I wasn't a fan of the all guest judges.  Tonight the celebrities will be dancing two dances.  One solo dance and one team dance.  This is the first time this season they have done two dances.  The show opened with an AMAZING group routine!  Tonight somebody will go home.  Make sure you vote for your favorites and check back Monday for more!

TOMMY CHONG AND PETA MURGATROYD:
He is stressed about learning two routines because of his knees.  He is the oldest on the show.  This week he danced the Quickstep.  I actually like when he does ballroom.  His footwork had a few mistakes but it was still fun.  It had a lot of content which is always good.  He really pulled it together.  I love him!  His score was 28 of 40.

LEA THOMPSON AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
Last week was pretty harsh from the judges so know there is doubt.  This week she danced the Argentine Tango.  This was SO good!  It had a ton of passion and perfection.  I love their chemistry together.  She has nothing to worry about.  She still needs to loosen up a little bit though.  Her score was 34 of 40.

BETHANY MOTA AND DEREK HOUGH:
She was very scattered during rehearsal because the workload has doubled.  This week she danced the Paso Doble.  It was PHENOMENAL!  It was completely flawless;  It just had SO much passion and great content.  The whole production was on point as well.  I liked how it was Halloween themed but it didn't over power the dance.  She is just awesome!  Her score was 39 of 40.

ANTONIO SABATO JR. AND CHERYL BURKE:
They are in the bottom for the first time ever.  This week he danced the Viennese Waltz.  It wasn't bad but it could have been so much better.  The only thing I liked was the story.  He improves a little bit each week but not enough.  I honestly don't know how long he will last at this rate.  His score was 27 of 40.

MICHAEL WALTRIP AND EMMA SLATER:
He can't believe he has made it this far.  This week he danced the Jive.  It was terrible.  It did not have any content.  There were no kicks or flicks which is what Jive is.  The timing was completely off.  I feel bad for his partner because she tries.  He makes no effort it feels like.  He also won't last much longer.  His score was 20 of 40.

JANEL PARRISH AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Since it is Halloween week she is dedicating it to all her Pretty Little Liars fans.  This week she danced the Viennese Waltz.  This is my favorite show so I loved it.  It was beautiful but creepy at the same time.  I wish it was a bit more traditional but as a fan I enjoyed it.  She still hasn't blown me away yet.  Her score was 31 of 40.

ALFONSO RIBEIRO AND WITNEY CARSON:
The both had injures but they aren't slowing down at all.  This week he danced the Rumba.  I really liked it!  I liked how it wasn't sexual but still full of content.  It was SO good!  I wish it never had to end.  It was just beautiful and wonderful.  I'm gonna have to say it was my favorite Rumba ever.  His score was 36 of 40.

SADIE ROBERTSON AND MARK BALLAS:
Last week she got her first 10 and this week he feels out of his comfort zone due to the filming of Duck Dynasty.  This week she danced the Paso Doble.  I really liked it a lot.  This was the first time it felt unnaturally for her.  I loved the theme and I thought the content was great.  I thought overall she did a great job.  Her score was 30 of 40.

Team Itsy Bitsy:
The team captain is Bethany.  She chose Janel, Lea, and Michael.  The style is Freestyle.  I loved everything about this!  It was just so awesome!  They killed it!  The girls were like black widow spiders killing their prey and I loved it!  Their score was 36 of 40.  This will be added to each members scores from tonight.

Team Creepy:
The team captain is Alfonso.  He chose Sadie, Antonio, and Tommy.  The style is Freestyle.  I thought it was really fun.  They looked great costume wise.  It had lots of energy but they weren't totally in sync.  They shined individually though.  Their score was 32 of 40.  This will be added to each members scores from tonight.

Results:
Bethany, Michael, Lea, Janel, Alfonso, and Sadie are safe.  Antonio and Tommy are in danger.  Antonio is eliminated meaning Tommy will be back next week.

Movie Review: The Best Of Me

Last night I went to see the movie The Best Of Me.  I've been waiting for this movie for what feels like forever.  If you didn't know it is based off a book by Nicholas Sparks.  I'm kind of obsessed with novels.  I read the book SO long ago so I went in with no expectations.  I honestly loved it!  I can't give too much away but I've always described it as a modern day Romeo and Juliet.  He comes from a poor white trash family and she comes from a rich family.  It is a total chick flick which are my favorite types.  The actors were perfectly casted.  You felt the chemistry with the young couple and with the current couple.  I thought the flash backs were very well done.  You felt like you were falling in love along with them.  There were pretty big changes from the book but I thought it still worked.  I think the ending will be the most shocking if you haven't read it.  It's a pretty big twist!  I think guys will enjoy it as well.  So make your boyfriends take you on a date!  If they aren't up for it, just go with your girlfriends.  Trust me you'll love it!  There is some violence involved but nothing too terrible.  It inspired me to start rereading the book.  I will totally be buying this on DVD.  Did you this film yet?  Tell me your thoughts!

DWTS Season 19: Pitbull Is In The House!

It's week 6!  Tonight there is a guest judge AND a guest host.  The guest host is Leah Remini because Erin Andrews is covering the World Series.  The guest judge is Pitbull!  I'm excited for this!  Tonight somebody will be eliminated.  Make sure you vote to save your favorites!  Check back next Monday for more!  The show kicked off with a performance by Pitbull while the pros danced.  I loved it!

JONATHAN BENNETT AND ALLISON HOLKER:
He didn't so well the last few weeks.  He really needs to focus.  This week he danced Jazz.  It was an improvement for sure.  I didn't love it though.  I feel like his partner out dances him a lot of the time.  I tended to watch her more then him.  I'm glad he improved though.  His score was 32 of 40.

JANEL PARRISH AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
They really missed each other during the switch up.  I think there is more going on then we know.  This week she danced the Samba.  It was really good.  It was much better than last week.  I really loved the content.  I thought the passion was just enough.  She just isn't my favorite though.  Her score was 33 of 40.

TOMMY CHONG AND PETA MURGATROYD:
Last week was the first time he didn't do so well.  He needs to focus and pull it together.  This week he danced the Foxtrot.  He's back!  There were a couple mistakes but still fun.  It was smooth and charming.  I smiled the whole time.  His dances have that effect on people.  He'll be here awhile I'm sure of it.  His score was 28 of 40.

ANTONIO SABATO JR. AND CHERYL BURKE:
His partner had some family troubles so rehearsals was a bit tense.  This week he danced the Salsa.  I enjoyed it but it still wasn't my favorite.  The content was great.  He just needs to improve more technically.  He needs to be more relaxed.  Just get lost in the music and the moment.  His score was 28 of 40.

SADIE ROBERTSON AND MARK BALLAS:
She was the top scorer of last week.  She needs to find the perfect balance so she is comfortable with the dance.  This week she danced the Rumba.  I loved it!  It was really beautiful.  It was tasteful and not too sexy.  I believed that they were falling in love.  The choreography was perfect.  Her score was 35 of 40.

LEA THOMPSON AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
She was panicking too much so there was tension.  This week she danced the Salsa.  I really liked it!  It was sexy but still really fun.  Her confidence was a little bit lacking.  The pressure really affected her this week.  It was still very good though.  She just needs to be herself.  Her score was 32 of 40.

MICHAEL WALTRIP AND EMMA SLATER:
He got demolished by the scores last week.  He went back to his Nascar roots to rejuvenate.  This week he danced the Argentine Tango.  I honestly hated it.  He barely even danced!  His partner pretty much danced around him while he stood there.  It wasn't passionate enough and it needed to be sharper.  He won't last long.  His score was 30 of 40.

BETHANY MOTA AND DEREK HOUGH:
There was a lot of traveling and work events for her this week.  This week she danced the Tango.  I thought it was AMAZING!  I was surprised how well it was with only 7 total hours of practice.  It was pure traditional Tango.  There was a slight slip but I barely noticed!  I wanted more!  I just love her SO much!  Her score was 36 of 40.

ALFONSO RIBEIRO AND WITNEY CARSON:
He was injured but worked through it.  Then she got injured before the show.  This week he danced the Salsa.  I liked it but I was slightly disappointed.  I wanted more Salsa content.  It felt more hip hop to me.  I did enjoy the entire dance as a whole though.  He looked great even with his injury.  His score was 39 of 40.

Results:
Bethany, Lea, Alfonso, Sadie, Antonio, and Tommy are safe.  Janel, Michael, and Jonathan are in danger.  Jonathan is eliminated.  This means Janel and Michael will be back next week.

4 DIY Halloween Costumes

Can you believe Halloween is only 2 weeks away?  If you are like me you probably haven't got a costume yet.  I can't justify spending $30 for only one night and never wear it again.  No worries!  I'm here to help you make a costume using clothing you already own.  These are just ideas that you can use a guide.  You can adapt it depending on what is in your closet.  If you try any of these tweet me a picture @jerica_89!  Let me know if you want more posts like this.

First up is Cleopatra.  All you need is a flowy white dress.  For shoes use gladiator sandals.  Gold is the best color but brown or black will work too.  Go crazy with the gold jewelry!  If you think its too much add more!  The most important is a big statement necklace.  To add some color go for turquoise earrings.  Straighten your hair and wear a gold headband across your forehead.  That's it!

This is my favorite option.  It's Minnie Mouse!  All you need is a red polka dot shirt and high waisted white shorts.  You could also wear a dress as long its red and polka dotted.  Add some black leggings to give more of a mouse effect.  For shoes you'll need yellow heels.  If you have Minnie ears then wear those.  If not wear a polka dotted bow in your hair.  You are now transformed!

Animal costumes are always a good option.  I chose to do a Panda.  All you need is a black and white shirt and some black jeans.  For shoes go with some black and white chucks.  Wear a panda hat and black gloves to finish off the look!

I love superheros!  My favorite is Captain America.  If you own a Captain America shirt wear that but if not wear a flag/american shirt.  Pair it with some dark blue jeans and red chucks.  For accessories wear flag sunglasses and a star read, white, and blue bow.

Movie Review: Gone Girl

It's been awhile since I've done a movie review.  Last night I went to see Gone Girl with my mom, grandma, and younger sister.  I was the only one of us who had read the book.  You can read my book review here.  I honestly didn't want to see this movie at first because I'm not a huge Ben Affleck fan.  A TON of people recommended it and I was curious to see how well they adapted to the book.  First off the casting was pretty perfect to how I pictured them while I read.  Each character was exactly true to the book.  It was also just as suspenseful and I already knew what was going to happen!  The adaptation wasn't as well as I hoped but I went in knowing it probably wouldn't be.  That is always my advice if I have read a book before I see the film.  Go in open minded because then you can't be disappointed.  Some details changed and some parts were left out but it was nothing major.  I only noticed because I had read it.  I should warn you that there are a couple of sex scenes but it only lasts a few seconds.  There is also a pretty graphic scene and if you are like me just close your eyes.  Overall, I did really enjoy the film.  I probably won't buy the DVD but I'm glad I went.  The book was SO much better in my opinion.  Isn't that usually the case?  Did you any of you see this movie?  Tell me your thoughts!

DWTS Season 19: It's Time For A Switch!

Welcome to Week 5!  Tonight the celebrity's will switch partners.  This is only for one week.  They did this last season and I loved it.  Hopefully it will be the same tonight!  The guest judge is Jessie J.  I really like her so I'm sure she'll be great.  There will be no elimination tonight but there will be next week,  Make sure you vote for your favorites!  The show started of with a performance by Jessie J while the group danced which was amazing of course.  I'm loving them this season!  Come back next Monday for more!

ANTONIO SABATO JR. AND ALLISON HOLKER:
He was really disappointed with his scores last week.  This week he danced Bollywood.  I liked the routine but he was a hot mess.  First off I did like this pairing.  I just thought he could do better.  He looked very lost and stiff.  She has a lot of experience in this style so I felt she out danced him.  He was committed though.  His score was 28 of 40.

BETHANY MOTA AND MARK BALLAS:
She got her partners best friend so there was a little playful tension.  This week she danced Hip Hop.  I loved this SO much!  She has so much more confidence.  I did not expect her to be that comfortable with this style.  She KILLED the entire routine!!!  She totally has swag and I wished it went on forever.  His score was 32 of 40.

JONATHAN BENNETT AND PETA MURGATROYD:
He got the lowest scores last week so he really needs to step it up.  This week he danced the Jitterbug.  It was definitely an improvement but there were mess ups.  It had potential but it just didn't work as planned.  There were awesome moments but at least he tried.  He had fun at least.  His score was 24 of 40.

ALFONSO RIBEIRO AND CHERYL BURKE:
Last week he got a perfect score so he has a lot of pressure.  This week he danced the Flamenco.  I loved this dance!  I also loved this partnership!  We saw a whole new side of him and it was great.  It had so much intensity that I couldn't look away.  They had so much chemistry for only being together a week.  His score was 34 of 40.

JANEL PARRISH AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
They need to really work on their connection to pull this routine off.  This week she danced Burlesque.  I know it is supposed to be sexy but I thought it was too much.  I didn't feel like it was really a Burlesque.  It needed to be toned down A LOT.  The connection was there though.  Her score was 33 of 40.

MICHAEL WALTRIP AND WITNEY CARSON:
There is a big age gap with this pairing so it could get awkward.  This week he danced Disco.  It was okay but I've seen better.  He was off the beat.  He needs to get more serious and do more dance moves.  His partner does all the work. no matter who it is  He relies too much on comedy and it's week 5 so it should be better.  His score was 20 of 40.

TOMMY CHONG AND EMMA SLATER:
He was worried about switching partners because he isn't sure how to learn from somebody else.  This week he danced the Mambo.  This wasn't my favorite and I think it was the song choice.  The song was too slow and so it lost energy.  He has done SO much better in past weeks.  I was disappointed 23 of 40.

SADIE ROBERTSON AND DEREK HOUGH:
She was happy with her pairing because he is most like Mark.  This week she danced the Charleston.  I really LOVED this!  It was clean and completely on point!  It was modern but still classic.  Her body is perfect for dance because she is so tall.  I just love her!  The partnership was amazing as well.  It was pretty much perfection.  Her score was 36 of 40.

LEA THOMPSON AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
She almost got a perfect score last week so she wants to do well.  This week she danced Broadway.  I actually did like this routine.  It was different for her but the concept was great.  I laughed a lot and her style wasn't too extreme which I liked.  She really opened up this week.  It was good.  Her score was 34 of 40.

I Met Aaron Carter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were alive during the 90's then you know Aaron Carter was a pretty big deal.  He was also one of my many idols.  He is now coming back with new music.  Last night he came to Nebraska and of course I went!  Things happened that I was NOT expecting.  First while we were waiting outside he came out of his bus.  He started talking to my sister and I and then he invited us personally to watch his soundcheck! We were dying!  I tried to get front row but I got second instead.  It didn't matter though because during the concert he touched my cheek while he sang THEN I sang I Want Candy into his mic! It was SO awesome!  I had meet and greet passes so we met him after.  He was holding the meet and greet on his bus, which I can't get on, so he personally came out to meet us.  When I met him after he kissed my cheeks and took selfies AND then he gave me his beanie hat! How is this real life!!!!!  He also gave us his number!  I wish I was back there already!

DWTS Season 19: The Best Year Of My Life Is...

It's week 4!  Tonight's theme is the celebrities most memorable year.  This is always one of my favorite episodes.  It gets very emotional though!  Tonight another celebrity will be going home.  The guest judge tonight is you.  It won't matter since you are reading this after.  Tonight's show kicked off with another amazing group routine.  They have really stepped it up this year.  Make sure to vote for your favorite celebrity and come back Monday for more!

JANEL PARRISH AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Her most memorable year was when she moved to LA after her mentor told her.  Her mentor then passed away.  This week she danced the Rumba.  I really liked it.  Sometimes this dance is too sexy but she kept it classy.  It had passion but was still beautiful.  It was my favorite by her so far.  Her score was 36 of 40.

JONATHAN BENNETT AND ALLISON HOLKER:
His most memorable year was 2004 when he was in Mean Girls.  This week he danced the Samba.  It is so hard because I do like him but this wasn't that great.  It was stiff and very flatfooted.  It was kind of a mess.  He really just focus a little bit more.  His personality was on point though.  His score was 24 of 40.

BETSEY JOHNSON AND TONY DOVOLANI:
Her most memorable year was 1975 when her daughter was born.  This week she danced the Jive.  I really enjoyed it but it wasn't her best.  I do like her but I wanted more Jive moves in the dance.  Also it wasn't fast enough.  It had good moments but I think the judges were too nice.  I've seen better from her.  Her score was 29 of 40.

BETHANY MOTA AND DEREK HOUGH:
Her most memorable year was 2009 because that is when she started YouTube.  She started because she was bullied.  This week she danced the Rumba.  I honestly cried during this.  The message was SO powerful.  It was beautiful.  It did need more Rumba content but it didn't even matter.  It was so much more than just a dance.  Her score was 33 of 40.

MICHAEL WALTRIP AND EMMA SLATER:
His most memorable year was 2001 when he won the Daytona 500 but it was also the same day his friend Dale Earnhardt died.  This week he danced the Quickstep.  He tries SO hard but it just doesn't work out.  He missed a few steps and it was stiff.  I think he can do it he just needs to work harder.  His score was 25 of 40.

LEA THOMPSON AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
Her most memorable year was 2003 when her dad died of cancer.  This week she danced Contemporary.  It was very emotional. Again I teared up.  I always love when she dances.  You could feel the emotion while she danced.  It was flawless.  I never wanted it to end honestly.  Her score was 39 of 40.

ANTONIO SABATO JR. AND CHERYL BURKE:
His most memorable year was when he moved to America from Italy.  This week he danced the Samba.  He is improving but still needs work.  He needs to dance bigger so it projects out to the audience.  He also missed a few steps.  At least he looks good!  His score was 29 of 40.

TOMMY CHONG AND PETA MURGATROYD:
His most memorable year was 2003 when he was arrested for drug smuggling.  This week he danced the Jive.  I just love him!  He can really move!  He did make a few mistakes but who cares.  I enjoy every dance he does.  He just makes me smile.  That is what dance is really all about.  His score was 28 of 40.

SADIE ROBERTSON AND MARK BALLAS:
Her most memorable year was 2012 when Duck Dynasty started and her life changed.  This week she danced the Samba.  I LOVED this dance!  Everything about it was perfection!  It had great content and a TON of fun!  The concept was adorable as well.  I wanted it to never end!  She is just amazing!  Her score was 37 of 40.

ALFONSO RIBEIRO AND WITNEY CARSON:
His most memorable year was when he was on Fresh Prince.  This week he danced Jazz.  It FINALLY happened!  He did the iconic Carlton dance!  Who doesn't love that dance?  It changed the 90's forever!  It was so much more then that though.  This was my favorite Jazz routine on this show.  I loved it!  His score was 40 of 40.

Results:
Sadie, Bethany, Alfonso, Lea, Antonio, Jonathan, and Janel are safe.  Tommy, Betsey, and Michael are in danger.  Betsey is eliminated.  This means Tommy and Michael will be back next week.

Book Review: Gone Girl

Since I've started school I have barely had time to do ANYTHING!  Now I've gotten in a groove so I can now get back to other things in my life.  One of those things is reading.  Recently I FINALLY finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.  Now this is not a book I would typically read.  I was convinced by the trailer for the movie actually.  Before that though, I saw that pretty much the entire world was/had read so I thought why not check it out.  OMG you guys!  I had such a hard time putting this book down!  It is about a guy named Nick Dunne and his wife Amy.  On their five year anniversary Amy suddenly disappears.  I can't give too much away but Nick becomes the main suspect in her disappearance.  Just when I thought I had it all figured out a whole new twist occurred!  I'm curious to see how well the film will portray the story.  I'll leave the trailer below.  The only thing I disliked was the ending.  I felt like I was left hanging!  Overall I HIGHLY recommend this book.  Have you read this book?  Tell me your thoughts!  Also leave some other book recommendations in the comments.
