10 Bath And Body Works Scents To Buy During The Sale!

One of my biggest guilty pleasures is Bath And Body Works!  I could honestly live in that store!  Let's be honest though, it can be pretty expensive.  Every June and December is when Bath And Body Works have their semi-annual sale.  Who doesn't love a sale?  That's why now is the perfect time to stock up and maybe even discover a new signature scent.  I put together 10 scents to check out while everything is on sale.  What is your go to scent?  Leave me some recommendations!  If you pick up any of these tell me what you got.

DWTS Season 21: The Most Memorable Year

It's week 4!!!!  If you missed last weeks recap check it out here.  Tonight's theme is always my favorite.  It's time for the most memorable year episode!!  This is when the celebrities do a dance representing their most memorable year.  I already know I'm going to be an emotional wreck!  I always am every season.  Tom Bergeron will not be hosting tonight because his father is ill.  Stepping in for him is Alfonso Ribeiro.  Somebody will be going home tonight.  Make sure you vote for your favorite so they stay safe!

ALEXA PENAVEGA AND MARK BALLAS:
Her most memorable year is 2000.  She booked her biggest role in Spy Kids.  This week she danced the Foxtrot.  I thought this dance was super adorable.  I loved the entire concept.  It felt very young and fresh which I love.  It was just fun!  There were a few mistakes but it was her first proper ballroom dance.  She just needs to stay on this path.  Her score is 21 of 30.

GARY BUSEY AND ANNA TREBUNSKAYA:
His most memorable year is 1979.  He booked his biggest role as Buddy Holly.  This week he danced Jazz.  Well I preferred last week.  He definitely had passion because it was a huge part of his life.  He just isn't improving like the other celebrities.  He does entertain you though.  I just don't think this show is for him.  His score is 16 of 30.

TAMAR BRAXTON AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Her most memorable year is 2012.  Her husband was put into a coma and then she got pregnant.  This week she danced the Rumba.  It was breathtaking.  The story was so real and it affected me.  I totally cried because it was just so touching.  The connection was perfect.  I also loved that they danced a very classic Rumba.  I could watch that all day!  Her score is 27 of 30.

HAYES GRIER AND EMMA SLATER:
His most memorable year is 2014.  He blew up into a social media star overnight.  This week he danced Contemporary.  I thought the dance was great.  It was really clean and sharp.  I feel like I didn't totally get his story.  He did break out of his shell but he just isn't my favorite.  I thought he looked strained during the lift.  I like him but I don't love him.  His score is 27 of 30.

ALEK SKARLATOS AND LINDSAY ARNOLD:
His most memorable year is 2015.  He stopped terrorists on a train in Paris.  Then the weekend there was a shooting at his community college in Oregon.  This week he danced the Paso Doble.  I thought he did an amazing job.  You could totally feel the passion.  I did want more emotion because it would have made it so much better.  He does surprise me every time he dances though.  His score is 24 of 30.

NICK CARTER AND SHARNA BURGESS:
His most memorable year is 1992.  He met and joined the group Backstreet Boys.  It saved him from his childhood.  This week he danced Jazz.  This dance was EVERYTHING!!  This was pretty much my entire childhood!  I WANT MORE!!!!!  Can I please be Sharna?  She's living my dreams right now!  I have nothing else to say!  He is the BEST!!  His score is 27 of 30.  P.S. That deserved a 30!

CARLOS PENAVEGA AND WITNEY CARSON:
His most memorable year is 2012.  His band Big Time Rush was at his peak so when it was all over he hit rock bottom.  His met his wife the next week at church and it changed his life.  This week he danced the Waltz.  It was beautiful.  I really wish he was more at the leader board.  He needs a big break out moment.  It was lovely and I enjoyed it.  It was mesmerizing.  His score was 25 of 30.

PAULA DEEN AND LOUIS VAN AMSTEL:
Her most memorable year is 1989.  She left her husband and started her cooking business.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  I thought this was one of her best dances.  I did want her to have a lot more fun.  She needs to just focus and remember her dance.  Also her legs look AMAZING!  She needs to just be confident.  Her score is 18 of 30.

ANDY GRAMMER AND ALLISON HOLKER:
His most memorable year is 2009.  He was just a street performer and then his mother passed away from breast cancer.  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  I loved this dance!  It was really fun and he made the best of his situation.  He had a couple of mistakes but the message was great.  You can decide to make any situation positive.  I love that!  He just needs to have a big break out moment.  His score is 23 of 30.

BINDI IRWIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
Her most memorable year is 2006.  Her father passed away unexpectedly and she was only 8.  He was her hero.  This week she danced Contemporary.  I totally lost it the second it started.  It just immediately touched me.  This dance left me breathless.  It was just beautiful and I could watch that all night long.  She's amazing.  I have no words.  Her score is 28 of 30.

Results:
Nick, Bindi, Andy, Paula, Alexa, Alek, Hayes, Tamar, and Carlos are safe.  Gary has been eliminated.

Quiz Tuesday: Which Decade Do You Actually Belong In?

Happy Tuesday!!!  I was born in 1989 so I'm a 90's kid all the way.  Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live in another decade.  Today's quiz fits this theme perfectly.  It's called Which Decade Do You Actually Belong In?  I'm curious to see what my results are because I'm obsessed with every decade.  You can take the quiz also by clicking here.  Share your results in the comments!!

I got the 90's!  The description says: Help! You’re stuck in the ‘90s. You need to be immediately transported to the jiggy era of the walkman, Genesis, Fresh Prince, AOL chatrooms, and hair nubbins (waaaay before Miley donned them). Like, immediately.

This pretty much matches my childhood.  I was hoping for the 60's because I just love that era.  I do still love the 90's though!

Throwback Thursday: Summer Vibes

My birthday is only 6 days away!!  I can't believe I'm going to be 26!  So I thought I would share a throwback.  This is when I was 3 or 4 and I got this pool for my birthday.  I LIVED in this pool!  I was a little bit bossy and would not let anybody else in my pool.  I was a diva for sure!  I also always had to have toys in my pool.  I'm not sure why but I was entertained for hours.  I would literally cry every time my mom would get me out.  I still love going to the pool.  I guess I haven't really changed much.  If you want more posts like this let me know.

My June Playlist!

June is over!  I can't believe how quickly this year is going.  I hope you have all been having an awesome Summer so far!  I have been pretty busy but I love it.  July is going to be even busier and very exciting.  So stay tuned to my blog for all the action.  I'm loving my playlist for this month.  It's a very good mixture and a great way to kick off my favorite season.  You can check out last month's playlist here.  What songs are you listening to?  Let me know!

1. Fight Song by Rachel Platten
I can not get enough of this song!  I've had this on repeat for pretty much the entire month.  It's just one of those songs that I never get tired of.  I love the message behind it as well.  It's all about never giving up on your dream.  No matter what dream you have you just need to go for it!  I really need to check out more of her music.  Favorite lyric: This is my fight song Take back my life song Prove I'm alright song My power's turned on Starting right now I'll be strong I'll play my fight song And I don't really care if nobody else believes 'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me

2. Fun by Pitbull feat. Chris Brown
The title totally fits this song!  I love the beat because it makes you want to dance.  It sounds like a mixture of the 90's and techno.  This has been added to my morning playlist.  It just instantly makes you happy when you hear it.  I think this will become the party anthem of 2015.  It also really makes me miss Miami!  Favorite lyric: Loosen up your body till you come undone Loosen up your body baby come undone Oh my my, looking like a good good time Don't disguise The way you wanna love tonight Oh my my, hook you with a brand new high Don't be shy, I just wanna live tonight Live a little F.U.N. fun

3. Cheerleader by OMI
I love this song SO much!  It makes me feel happy.  I really love the beachy vibe it gives off.  Sadly I live in Nebraska so there are no beaches but I can dream!  I find this song refreshing because it's not about being a player.  It's basically an upbeat love song which all girls love.  Other artists should take note!  Favorite lyric: Do you need me? Do you think I'm pretty? Do I make you feel like cheating?
And I'm like no, not really 'cause Oh, I think that I've found myself a cheerleader She is always right there when I need her Oh, I think that I've found myself a cheerleader She is always right there when I need her

4. Take Your Time by Sam Hunt
I only heard the very end of this song but I was hooked instantly.  It has a rap/country vibe that I really like.  For some reason I've been listening to a lot of country music lately.  He doesn't seem like a country singer which is good.  He is reaching a broader audience this way.  I think the song is really cute too.  I'm a fan!  Favorite lyric: I don't wanna steal your freedom I don't wanna change your mind I don't have to make you love me I just wanna take your time I don't wanna wreck your Friday I ain't gonna waste my lines I don't have to take your heart I just wanna take your time

5. Marvin Gaye by Charlie Puth feat. Meghan Trainor
You probably recognize this name from his hit song See You Again.  I'm constantly looking for new stuff on YouTube and I came across this song.  It's always stuck in my head!  It has a modern 60's vibe which I love.  I am obsessed with the 50's and 60's.  Also his voice is just SO amazing!  I'm officially in love with him!  Favorite lyric: Let's Marvin Gaye and get it on You got the healing that I want Just like they say it in the song Until the dawn, let's Marvin Gaye and get it on You got to give it up to me I'm screaming mercy, mercy please Just like they say it in the song Until the dawn, let's Marvin Gaye and get it on

6. Pretty Fly For A White Guy by The Offspring
This song is a total throwback and I'll be SUPER impressed if you guys know it.  For some reason I could not get away from this song all month.  It played on Spotify, iTunes, and even the radio.  I forgot how much I loved it though.  I was obsessed when it came out in the 90's and I even had it on one of my high school mix CD's.  It's just a classic.  Favorite lyric: Now he's getting a tattoo Yeah he's gettin' ink done He asked for a '13', but they drew a '31' Friends say he's trying too hard And he's not quite hip But in his own mind He's the dopest trip.

7. Doin' What She Likes by Blake Shelton
I have been loving Blake Shelton recently.  I heard this while I was at a baseball game and it stuck with me.  I just can't get enough of him!  I'm not sure why I didn't listen to his music sooner.  This song is very sweet and the video totally fits his personality.  I can't wait to discover more songs by him.  Favorite lyric: She likes hearin' how good she looks in them blue jeans Little kisses, sweeter than sweet tea Things I whispered in her ear, oh my I like doin' what she likes Like running my fingers through her long hair Lightin' watermelon candles upstairs Lettin' them burn and holdin' her all night I like doin' what she likes

8. Where Are U Now by Skrillex and Diplo feat. Justin Bieber
I'm back on the Bieber bandwagon.  I was SO annoyed when he went crazy but thankfully he seems to be better.  I have a love/hate relationship with this song.  Sometimes it's too much techno but sometimes I like the beat.  I am excited about new music from him though.  Hopefully he'll go back to what he's good at.  Favorite lyric: I gave you the key when the door wasn't open, just admit it See, I gave you faith, turned your doubt into hoping, can’t deny it Now I’m all alone and my joys turned to moping Tell me, where are you now that I need you? Where are you now? Where are you now that I need you?

9. 22 by Taylor Swift
This will forever be one of my favorite T. Swift songs.  I just love her!  I'm turning 26 in 15 days so I felt like listening to this song over and over.  Let's be honest the message of this song is on point.  We really don't know what we want our lives to be like.  We are just living and loving every moment because life is short.  Favorite lyric: Yeah, We're happy, free, confused, and lonely in the best way It's miserable and magical Oh, yeah Tonight's the night when we forget about the heartbreaks It's time Uh oh! (hey!) I don't know about you But I'm feeling 22 Everything will be alright If you keep me next to you You don't know about me But I'll bet you want to Everything will be alright (alright)
If we just keep dancing like we're 22, ooh-ooh (oh, oh, oh)

10. Breathe In. Breathe Out. by Hilary Duff
OMG I'm obsessed with the new Hilary Duff album!  I even bought it at Target to get the bonus tracks.  I've been playing it daily!  So far this song has been my favorite.  I'm just SO happy that she is making a comeback.  I really hope a tour happens because I will definitely be there!  Favorite lyric: No more rain or shine Well, I guess this is goodbye I made a top ten list Of all the things I miss
Your lying eyes and lips They didn't make it And when I'm cold at night I know that I'll survive Until I feel alright I'm gonna fake it Breathe in, breathe out Breathe in, breathe out Breathe in, breathe out
Breathe in, breathe out Breathe in, breathe out Breathe in, breathe out

Quiz Tuesday: Are You More Britney Spears Or Christina Aguilera?

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you are having an awesome start to June.  I'm very excited about today's quiz.  It's called Are You More Britney Spears Or Christina Aguilera?  If you checked out my May playlist you might know who I love most.  This was a huge 90's battle but I honestly liked both.  I'm very interested for the results!  You can take this quiz right here.  Be sure to share your results!

I got Britney Spears!  The description says: You are a legend and a total sweetheart. No matter what obstacles you’ve faced, you always come out “Stronger.” People are *actually* obsessed with you because you just make the world a happier place.

I'm so happy because she has always been my favorite.  I do Christina too though.  I really like the description as well.

My February Playlist!

Can you believe February is over already?  It went too quick!  On the plus side it means that Spring is just around the corner.  I am over Winter!  It also means that it's time for another playlist.  You can check out last month's right here.  There were SO many good songs that I discovered this month.  I hope you enjoy!  What songs are you loving?

1. New Flame by Chris Brown feat. Usher & Rick Ross
I have been obsessed with this song for awhile!  I finally found the name of it and wrote it down.  It is such a catchy song!  I'm glad Chris Brown is going back to the music he makes best.  Plus adding in Usher was a clever and smart move.  I can't get enough!  Favorite lyric: Who said you can't find love in the club? 'Cause I wanna tell them they're wrong Come on, just, baby, try a new thing And let's spark a new flame You gon' be my baby Love me, love you crazy Tell me if you're ready Baby, come and get it Try a new thing And let's spark a new flame

2. Somebody by Natalie La Rose feat. Jeremih
This song is my current obsession!  I have it on repeat constantly!  When I first heard it, I felt a 90's vibe and then the video confirmed it.  You don't know how happy I am that the style and music from the 90's are making a comeback.  This song is my jam!  Hopefully her other music is just as good.  Favorite lyric: I wanna rock with somebody (whoah yeah) I wanna take shots with somebody (shots, shots, shots, shots)  I wanna leave with somebody (somebody, comm'on, comm'on) And we ain't gonna tell nobody, we ain't gonna tell nobody (nobody)

3. Outside by Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding
I am a big fan of slightly techno music which this song delivers.  It really makes me wish it were Summer.  It would be the perfect anthem!  I love to play this every morning to wake me up and get ready for the day.  Everybody needs a song like that in their lives.  Favorite lyric: Now I'm holding on Myself was never enough for me Gotta be so strong There's a power in what you do Now every other day I'll be watching you I'll show you what it feels like Now I'm on the outside We did everything right Now I'm on the outside

4. Show 'Em (What You're Made Of) by Backstreet Boys
I've been loving their movie which has the same title.  You can check out my review here.  I just really love the message and meaning of this song.  Don't ever be afraid to show your true colors.  If people don't love you for you then they aren't worth it.  Favorite lyric: Gloves are off Ready to fight Like a lion I will survive Will I? Will I? You gotta stand for something Even if you stand alone don’t be afraid It’s gonna be alright

5. FourFiveSeconds by Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney
You guys I tried SO hard to hate this song!  I'm not the biggest fan of her and I definitely hate him.  Somehow this song just embedded itself in my brain.  I know a lot of people who hate it but I can't stop humming along.  I'm still not a fan though!  Favorite lyric: Woke up an optimist Sun was shinin', I'm positive Then I heard you was talkin' trash Hold me back, I'm 'bout to spaz

6. Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding
I went through a bit of an Ellie Goulding phase this month.  I was obsessed with her music for awhile and I must be obsessed again.  I just love her sound and how different it is from anybody else.  She is just amazing!  I hope more music comes out soon.  Favorite lyric: Fading in, fading out On the edge of paradise Every inch of your skin is a holy grail I've got to find Only you can set my heart on fire, on fire Yeah, I'll let you set the pace 'Cause I'm not thinking straight My head's spinning around I can't see clear no more What are you waiting for?

7. Bright by Echosmith
This is a song I discovered at 3 AM.  I've determined that's when all the best songs are played.  When I heard it I honestly thought it was Taylor Swift.  I was shocked when I found out who it was because it sounds nothing like them.  I'm loving it!  Favorite lyric: Did you see that shooting star tonight Were you dazzled by the same constellation? Did you and Jupiter conspire to get me? I think you and the Moon and Neptune got it right 'Cause now I'm shining bright, so bright Bright, so bright

8. Style by Taylor Swift
I know what you are thinking, I've had a Taylor Swift song on my playlist for the last four months.  I just can't help it!  Her album is just that good!  This song has been in my head all month.  I'm also loving the video.  I love everything she does honestly.  Favorite lyric: So it goes He can't keep his wild eyes on the road Takes me home Lights are off, he's taking off his coat I say, "I heard, oh, that you've been out and about with some other girl, some other girl." He says, "What you've heard is true but I Can't stop thinking about you," and I I said, "I've been there too a few times."

9. Heartbeat Song by Kelly Clarkson
She is back!  I was a huge fan back in the day but then her sound changed.  I'm glad she has found her way back.  I sing this song all the time.  It's SO good and now I want to check out her new album.  Favorite lyric: This is my heartbeat song and I'm gonna play it Been so long I forgot how to turn it up up up up all night long Oh up up all night long This is my heartbeat song and I'm gonna play it Turned it on But I know you can take it up up up up all night long Oh up up all night long

10. Outside My Window by Sarah Buxton
I've loved this song for awhile but I rediscovered this song on my iTunes.  Every time I'm in a terrible mood I listen to it.  It's just a happy uplifting song.  It's a country song which a lot of people don't know I listen to.  You will love it!  Favorite lyric: Still need stars when you're wishin' at night A best friend to set you right A good laugh, a warm bath And a beautiful song you can sing along to Good news that'll make you cry All the little things that money can't buy  No wars, no more Just a big rainbow outside my window

Movie Review: Backstreet Boys Show 'Em What You're Made Of

I'm super excited for this review!  It is a documentary called Backstreet Boys Show 'Em What You're Made Of.  I've been waiting for this film since March.  It was totally worth the wait!

You may not know this but I've been a fan for 17 years.  This is by far the best celebrity documentary that I've ever seen!  It follows the making of their new album plus they look back on the 20 years together.  It was so raw and real.  It had loads of unseen footage which I loved.  I knew most of their story since I've been a fan for so long.  I did learn a lot though as well.  Back in the 90's we didn't have internet to Google them.  I liked that the whole movie was told by them.  Nobody else was interviewed.  The way it was filmed made me feel like I was there with them.  I've already watched it about 5 times and it only came out Friday.

This movie made me laugh and cry.  It brought back so many memories from my childhood.  This film was really for them but it was also a thank you to the fans.  I just can't get enough!  Go check it out!

It's my first playlist of 2015!  If you are new to blog, I will explain what this is.  Every month, on the last day, I upload ten songs I've been loving for the month.  I hope your month has been a great start to the New Year.  So far I've been doing great!  Are you keeping up with your 2015 goals?  I'm getting myself back on track.  If you want to check out last month's playlist click here.  I had a hard time choosing the songs for this playlist but I finally got it perfect!  What songs are you loving?

1. I Lived by OneRepublic
This is my anthem for 2015.  I've already experienced a lot but this year I want to go outside my comfort zone.  I need to stop thinking and just live.  Hopefully I can do everything I've dreamed of doing bug nobody is guaranteed tomorrow.  This video is really inspiring as well because I don't let my disease stop me either.  Favorite lyric: I, I did it all I, I did it all I owned every second That this world could give I saw so many places The things that I did Yeah, with every broken bone I swear I lived

2. Sugar by Maroon 5
I forgot how much I loved this song!!!  I hadn't played the album in awhile but I'm now addicted all over again.  I wish I was seeing them in tour again!  I love the music video SO much.  If Adam Levine showed up unannounced at my wedding I would die!  He's just amazing.  Favorite lyric: I don't wanna be needing your love I just wanna be deep in your love And it's killing me when you're away, ooh, baby 'Cause I really don't care where you are I just wanna be there where you are And I gotta get one little taste

3. Change Your Ticket by One Direction
I still can't stop playing their new album.  My favorite song is always changing but for now it's this one.  It's up beat but still a mature sound.  I'm so glad they are evolving because I can't get enough!  To be honest I'd love anything they did.  I will be seeing them live this summer and I can't wait!  Favorite lyric: Don't play innocent I know what you meant When you said you'd come over Aren't we way past that? Playin' hard to get We did that when we were younger

4. The Hanging Tree by Jennifer Lawrence
If you haven't seen Mockingjay yet then you'll have no clue what it is.  This has been stuck in my head the entire month.  It's SO catchy!  I honestly thought I'd never hear it on the radio.  Somehow they remixed it and I love it.  I am constantly humming it!  Favorite lyric: Are you, are you Coming to the tree? They strung up a man They say who murdered three Strange things did happen here No stranger would it be If we met at midnight In the hanging tree

And remember what we were fighting for And I wish you knew that I miss you too much to be mad anymore And I wish you were right here, right now, it's all good. I wish you would

6. Riptide by Vance Joy
I had to check him out because he's opening for Taylor Swift and I had never heard of him.  I love this song!  It really makes me wish summer were here already!  He has such a unique sound too.  This tour will be huge for his career and I can't wait to hear more!  Favorite lyric: Lady, running down to the riptide Taken away to the dark side I wanna be your left hand man I love you when you're singing that song And I got a lump in my throat 'Cause you're gonna sing the words wrong

7. Stuck On A Feeling by Prince Royce feat. Snoop Dogg
This my new jam!  I play it 50 times a day and I never get tired of it!  He must be new because I've never heard of him.  I discovered this song at 3 AM when I couldn't sleep.  This is typically when hear the best stuff.  I'm totally obsessed!!!  Favorite lyric: Ya just can't stop Once ain't enough Better lock this down Better box it up Gotta work me out Make it real Gotta make it count Get stuck on a feeling

8. 3am by Meghan Trainor
Her album has been a favorite this month.  My mom even loves it!  This song is my current favorite.  I just love her sound.  It sounds old school but with a modern twist.  I love that artists can do that because it makes them stand out.  Everybody can relate to her music as well.  Favorite lyric: I can't believe I'm still doing this I told myself a month ago that I'd be through with this I'm looking at my phone, and wondering if you're home I'm kinda tipsy, I ain't tryna sleep alone Somebody told me that some other girl was hugging you Baby, you know I'm the one that should be loving you You know we had a thing, baby, it's such a shame I still get crazy every time I hear your name

9. Somebody To You by The Vamps feat. Demi Lovato
I've actually loved this song for awhile but I just rediscovered it.  I forgot all about it until my iTunes played it.  I love when that happens!  I love the message and it's a super catchy song!  I need to listen to more of their music because I really like them.  They are really cute too!  Favorite lyric: Look at me now, I'm falling I can't even talk, still stuttering This ground of mine keeps shaking Oh oh oh, now! All I wanna be, yeah all I ever wanna be, yeah, yeah Is somebody to you All I wanna be, yeah all I ever wanna be, yeah, yeah Is somebody to you

10. Hand In My Pocket by Alanis Morissette
I've heard this song everywhere this month!  I had kinda forgotten about it honestly.  This song was a HUGE hit in the 90's.  Also her album was SO good!  I wish she still made music.  Go check out her Jagged Little Pill album!  It's life changing!  Favorite lyric: And what it all comes down to Is that I haven't got it all figured out just yet 'cause I've got one hand in my pocket And the other one is giving the peace sign

Quiz Tuesday: Which New Kid On The Block Is Your Spirit Animal?

It's Tuesday which means it's quiz time!  I'm actually super excited for this one.  It is called Which New Kid On The Block Is Your Spirit Animal?  In case you didn't know I'm slightly obsessed with NKOTB and I'm insanely jealous their tour isn't coming to my city.  Maybe someday I'll see them live.  You can take the quiz too here.

I got Joey!  The description says: You’re naturally young at heart, and you approach every situation with childlike enthusiasm and curiosity. But that doesn’t mean you’re naïve and helpless. In fact, you’re amazingly talented! If people are lucky enough to see you in action, they’ll be blown away by your incredible skills.

I think the description is totally spot on.  That is how I approach every situation.  To be honest I'm sad I didn't get Donnie.  I just love him so much!  Who did you get?  Share in the comments!
