DWTS Season 20: Are You Feeling Latin?

It's week 3!  It's going so fast already!  If you missed the last recap click here.  Tonight's theme is Latin night.  All the couple will be dancing to a Latin dance.  This gives everybody an even playing field.  This is always a fun night because things can get crazy!  The show kicked off with a big opening number.  It was AMAZING!!!  Tonight another couple will be eliminated.  Make sure you vote for your favorites so they don't go home too soon!  Who are you guys loving?  Let me know!

RUMER WILLIS AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Her challenge this week was getting used to the lifts.  This week she danced the Salsa.  I loved it!!!  It had a TON of personality which we haven't seen yet.  It showed her fun side instead of being so serious.  I loved disco element because it's so unique.  Plus it still had lots of actual Salsa moves in it still.  It was her best dance yet!  She still needs to loosen up a little more but I love her.  Her score was 33 of 40.

CHARLOTTE MCKINNEY AND KEO MOTSEPE:
She has a lot of trouble focusing because she checks her phone too much.  This week she danced the Rumba.  It was just okay.  It had SO much potential but it really fell short.  Her body is perfect for dance but she just doesn't concentrate.  Her feet need lots of work.  She needs to put her phone down and dance!  Her score was 22 of 40.

MICHAEL SAM AND PETA MURGATROYD:
He really needed to relax after his stressful week last week.  This week he danced the Salsa.  It was way too careful.  I wanted it to be loose and fun.  The lifts were great but they just didn't flow.  It all just was choppy.  He still needs to learn to tuck his butt in.  It just wasn't his best but I'm still a fan.  He'll redeem himself next week hopefully.  His score was 24 of 40.

RIKER LYNCH AND ALLISON HOLKER:
He struggled with the idea of being sexy.  This week he danced the Salsa.  I really liked it!  He has potential and a lot of flare.  His performance really draws you in.  He needs to work on his technique now because he has already showed the performer side.  I'd also like to see them dance together more.  He could be a contender.  His score was 34 of 40.

SUZANNE SOMERS AND TONY DOVOLANI:
She had a big confidence boost because of her scores last week.  This week she danced the Samba.  I didn't like it honestly.  It had lots of content and it was fun.  I just felt like it didn't really flow well.  There was a mess up and she just needs more work.  Also I want to see more emotion in her dances.  Her score was 25 of 40.

CHRIS SOULES AND WHITNEY CARSON:
He was really bummed that he screwed up so he's working extra hard.  This week he danced the Argentine Tango.  This is one of my favorite dance styles.  It had good and bad moments.  His turns were very choppy.  Also his footwork was a mess.  I did really like the passion they had.  The lifts were also fantastic.  He still needs work.  His score was 28 of 40.

ROBERT HERJAVEC AND KYM JOHNSON:
He had a lot of pain due to a past accident.  This week he danced the Rumba.  It was very beautiful.  They have amazing chemistry as a couple.  I felt like he needed to move more.  She sort of just danced around him.  His arms still need some work but I do hope he keeps improving.  I really do like him.  His score was 29 of 40.

PATTI LABELLE AND ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:
She is all about being sexy.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  I didn't like it all.  It needed WAY more Cha Cha content.  She really needs to step it up because it's almost the middle of the competition.  I know she is a legend but that only goes so far.  I'm not sure she'll last much longer honestly.  Hopefully she gets serious.  Her score was 22 of 40.

WILLOW SHIELDS AND MARK BALLAS:
She injured her back but is pushing through the pain.  This week she danced the Paso Doble.  It was really good!  The Paso is all about passion and intensity.  I was totally impressed because she is only 14.  She doesn't need to worry about that anymore.  Age means nothing anymore.  She keeps improving each week and she's gonna go far.  Her score was 32 of 40.

NOAH GALLOWAY AND SHARNA BURGESS:
He was supposed to use a prosthetic arm for this performance.  This week he danced the Argentine Tango.  It was really strong!  I thought it would be hard to judge because there's no frame.  It was really good though!  I loved the lifts and their connection is strong.  There was a slight mistake but he can improve with more work.  His score was 30 of 40.

NASTIA LIUKIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
She practices with two different partners plus has an injured thumb.  This week she danced the Samba.  I loved it!  She just does AMAZING!  It had lots of really hard content but she pulled it off.  Her energy is so infectious as well.  She needs to work on her extensions but otherwise she is perfection.  Her score was 34 of 40.

Results:
Nastia, Noah, Willow, Patti, Robert, Suzanne, Michael, Chris, Rumer, and Riker are safe.  Charlotte was eliminated.

Jerica
