DWTS All Star: Fusion Week

It is Fusion week which means two different dance styles are being combined into one.  Nobody will be going home this week.  Instead there will be a double elimination next week.  There will also be no result show tomorrow.  The show started with the pros showing how the fusion dances should be done.  It was really cool.  The All Stars will be participate in a swing dance marathon at the end of the show.  The spotlight dance was so good!  I really loved the modern style.

Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff:
He had a very hard time learning the dance this week. His fusion dance was Cha Cha/Paso Doble. It was very good. I couldn't even tell it was two styles. He finally took his shirt off!!! His score was 27 out of 30.  He gained 6 points in the marathon making his total 33.

Emmett Smith and Cheryl Burke:
He is happy his family supports them and wants to make them proud.  His fusion dance was Rumba/Samba. It wasn't my favorite.  She was making them change styles every 10 seconds.  It was too much.  His score was 27.5 out of 30.  He gained 7 points in the marathon making his total 33.5.

Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy:
She filled a truck with goods for the hurricane victims.  Her fusion dance was Quickstep/Samba.  I actually really liked it.  It wasn't perfect but it was entertaining.  Her score was 24 out of 30.  She gained 4 points in the marathon making her total 28.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy:
She has feelings for her partner but isn't sure what the are yet.  Her fusion dance was Cha Cha/Foxtrot.  It was so adorable.  I really loved it.  It was elegant but sexy.  Her score was 27 out of 30.  She gained 9 points in the marathon making her total 36.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani:
She kept confusing her dance steps.  Her fusion dance was Tango/Cha Cha.  I loved it plus shes just amazing.  It was the perfect mixture.  Her score was 29 out of 30.  She gained 10 points in the marathon making her total 39.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough:
Last week both her and her partner were injured.  So Mark Ballas stepped in this week.  Her fusion dance was Tango/Paso Doble.  It was amazing!!!!  It was the best of the night.  Her score was 30 out of 30.  She gained 8 points in the marathon making her total 38.

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd:
He just wanted to get high scores this week.  His fusion dance was Argentine Tango/Samba.  It was good.  I just didn't like the combo.  His score was 28.5 out of 30.  He gained 5 points in the marathon making his total 33.5.
