DWTS All Star: All Stars Take Over

Can you believe it's already week 3?  This week the celebrities take over the entire routines.  They helped with choreography, outfits, and everything the pros normally do.  They must choose any iconic dance from past seasons and make it their own.  The judges want to see something they've never seen before.  This week is very critical because 2 couples will be eliminated tomorrow night.  Two announcements were also announced.  The first was that Paula Abdul will be a guest judge.  The second was that the celebrities get to choose the dance style for each other for next weeks show.  It could be a style never done before or one that has rarely been done.  It's all about strategy.

Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya:
He wanted his performance to feel like a concert.  He danced a Cha Cha this week.  I loved it!  It had giant fans and he took his shirt off.  Who doesn't love that?  Plus it was very fun and upbeat.  He got a 24 out of 30.

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd
He had trouble choosing an iconic dance because he didn't want to offend anybody.  He danced a Tango this week.  I'm not usually a fan of him but tonight I was impressed.  He started by flying up off of a bed so it was like a dream state he was dancing in.  It was very dramatic.  His score was 25.5 out of 30.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani:
Since it is a double elimination week she wanted dangerous moves in her dance.  She danced a Samba this week.  It was AMAZING!  It was one of my favorite dance of the night.  The tricks had never been done on TV before and they were perfect.  Her score was 27 of 30.  It was the highest score of the season so far.

Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff:
He wanted to show his sexy side this week.  He danced the Foxtrot this week.  It was definitely sexy.  I couldn't look away!  He had her start off as a statue and then he brought her to life.  His score was 25.5 out of 30.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy:
She had time of from her soap opera job this week.  She danced the Paso Doble this week.  It was very good.  It had great chemistry and passion which this dance requires.  The judges declared them the couple to watch.  Her score was 27 out of 30.

Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy:
She just wanted to finally have fun.  She danced to the Cha Cha this week.  It was very entertaining that's for sure.  I don't think it will be enough to make it through though.  Her score was 24 out of 30.

Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel:
Her goal was to contuine to stay on top of the leader board.  She danced a Pao Doble this week.  It was very good but it wasn't very creative.  She played it way too safe for this season.  Her score was 25.5 out of 30.

Emmett Smith and Cheryl Burke:
He really wanted to show the judges something they had never seen before.  He danced the Paso Doble this week.  It was very good.  It had a desert feeling and even had a real donkey.  His score was 25 out of 30.

Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower:
Last week was his first time ever in the bottom.  He danced a Quickstep this week.  It was really great until he messed up slightly.  His foot got caught up in her dress.  I still enjoyed it though.  His score was 25.5 out of 30.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas:
She wasn't thrilled with how her dance went last week.  She danced a Paso Doble this week.  It was my favorite dance of hers ever.  It was so good.  It was on a chess board and she was the queen he was the king.  I loved it.  Her score was 22.5 out of 30.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough:
The judges wanted more from her.  She danced the Quickstep.  It was the best dance of ALL TIME!!!!!  I loved this dance!  She did break some rules but it was just amazing!  Her score was 26.5 out of 30.
