DWTS Season 18: Who Goes Home First?

It's week 2!  Before the show started, producers asked each celebrity what dance they want to do most.  So this weeks dances were the ones they chose.  The first celebrity will also be sent home tonight.  The show kicked off with a pro dance involving the celebrities.  It was pretty amazing.  Another surprise was announced.  A double elimination will happen tonight.  It could happen at any time.  You can also start voting for the partner switch up.  On Twitter use #DWTS then the first name of the celebrity and first name of the pro you want.

DREW CAREY AND CHERYL BURKE:
He is safe.  He is having a hard time remembering steps.  This week he danced the Jive.  I really enjoyed it.  He is just an awesome performer.  It had TONS of energy.  It wasn't perfect but still great.  His score was 21 of 30.

DANICA MCKELLAR AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
She is safe.  She is feeling a lot of pressure.  This week she danced the Samba.  She is really good!  It was sexy but still elegant.  She had a few mistakes but nothing major.  She is a top competitor for sure.  Her score was 24 of 30.

BILLY DEE WILLIAMS AND EMMA SLATER:
He is safe.  I was shocked by this.  He is trying to be positive.  This week he danced the Tango.  It wasn't good.  It wasn't even a Tango.  It was to jazzy for me.  Tango is supposed to be intense and aggressive.  He won't last.  His score was 15 of 30.

MERYL DAVIS AND MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY:
She is safe.  She wanted the challenge of the tricks.  This week she danced Swing.  I really loved it!  It was more Lindy Hop than Swing in my opinion.  There was a big mistake in the beginning but I did love the tricks.  Her score was 25 of 30.

DIANA NYAD AND HENRY BYALIKOV:
She is the first celebrity eliminated in the double elimination.  I wasn't surprised.  They still got to dance their Cha Cha though.  I applaud her.

CANDACE CAMERON BURE AND MARK BALLAS:
She is safe.  She is worried about being too sexy because her faith is important.  This week she danced the Rumba.  I LOVED this dance.  It wasn't a typical Rumba but it was still sensual.  Her arms need more work.  Mark did amazing with her restrictions and I thought it worked for her.  Her score was 21 of 30.

AMY PURDY AND DEREK HOUGH:
She is safe.  She is worried about her legs flying off.  This week she danced Swing.  I'm just amazed by her.  It had tricks and was a proper Swing.  There was a slight mistake but she just impressive.  She is such an inspiration.  Her score was 24 of 30.

JAMES MASLOW AND PETA MURGATROYD:
He is safe.  He is working harder on his technique.  This week he danced the Salsa.  He KILLED it!  It had sexiness and loads of energy.  He is just hot!  I thought he improved a lot too.  Plus the chemistry is just there.  His score was 25 of 30.

CHARLIE WHITE AND SHARNA BURGESS:
He is safe.  He needs to learn to be in character.  This week he danced the Tango.  It was good.  I wanted more intensity.  There were broken rules and he deserves to be called out.  He is already a dancer!  He needs more character.  His score was 25 of 30.

NENE LEAKES AND TONY DOVOLANI:
She is not happy with her dance choice.  This week she danced the Jive.  It was not the best.  At least she had fun and great energy.  Her kicks and feet needed a lot of work.  At least she tried.  Her score was 21 of 30.

SEAN AVERY AND KARINA SMIRNOFF:
He doesn't like showing emotion so he needs work.  This week he danced the Salsa.  It was better than I expected.  He looked happy and like he was having fun.  He is still a mess technique wise but could easily improve.  His score was 21 of 30.

CODY SIMPSON AND WITNEY CARSON:
He struggles between keeping the dance modern and traditional.  This week he danced the Tango.  I just love him.  I thought it was fun and edgy.  He really tries hard and I enjoy him so much.  He keeps it fresh.  His score was 22 of 30.

The second person eliminated is Sean.  I'm glad because he is kind of weird.

xo,
Jerica
